Hello everyone! Today I've got some problem with my Atrix 2 (Android 2.3.6 rooted UAE-version). I turned on the wi-fi and the phone freezed. I tried to turn it off but the there was no reaction so I removed the battery. After powering on the phone shows the M-logo and 'dual core technology' and does not boots up. The phone is able to enter the recovery menu so I tried to wipe cache but that had not fixed the problem. Also I did not synced the contacts for a long time. So is there any possibility to save contacts from internal memory and fix the boot? Thank You.

Hi friends,
today it happened, my beloved universal wont start anymore.
Happend last week too, but after a hard reset and restoring a backup, I've lost only one day data.
It stucks at the boot screen, showing the WM6 boot logo - for ever.
I can switch it on and of - just the WM6 boot logo appears and disapears.
The Led is blinking green (with sim inserted), but it's not showing a call. Still showing just the boot logo.
Unfortunately I can not make a hard reset. Because I have lots of new data inside my little friend, which I could not backup in the last week - too busy.
What I tried:
- remove battery
- new battery
- lots of soft rests
- entering the hard reset menu - but pressing X for exit
ROM is thingonaspring. Radio 1.18
Is there anything I can do? Except a hard reset?
Thanks

Thanks guys, nothing worked, except installing a new ROM. Unfortunately my last week data is lost. But hey, my Uni is alive again
Same Situation
After two years of working fine, my T-Mobile MDA Pro refused to get past the boot screen. I didn't want to do a hard reset (and lose all of my program settings) and so sent the unit to PocketPCTechs for repair. Of course they did a hard reset anyway and reflashed the ROM with Mobile 6.1. I got the unit back and it worked for 8 hours, while I restored everything, and then the same thing happened: it freezes at sign-on screen. So, apparently, nothing was really repaired. Just curioius: is there a way to restore operating system files without losing all the other stuff I have on the device? Of course, most of my data and applications are on my SD card (thank goodness), and so I haven't lost any data. I do have a Sprite backup, but I've had problems with Sprite before and so prefer not to have to depend on it.
It just seems to me that there has to be a better way! If an operating system file gets corrupted, thereby preventing bootup, I should be able to fix that particular file only and not trash everything else.

My atrix 4G reboots when i lock it or when it goes to "idle" mode, i've been trying to update it to see if that resolves the problem but i can't, the phone copies the files for the update then it reboots starts loading files shows a red mark and gets stuck in the goapk.com logo the phone has an unlocked bootloader and it's rooted, also wifi displays "error" and when i try to turn it on it reboots and recently the computer doesn't recognize the phone when i plug it into a usb port and viceversa the phone doesn't show any usb connected notification or charge, Any help will be highly appreciated please the phone it's driving me nuts!
It isn't exactly clear what you have done so far. Maybe try booting into recovery and flashing a new ROM? Make sure you wipe data/factory reset, the cache partition, and dalvik cache
Device : TAB 7.7 P6800
ROM : Carbon ROM build 12/12/14
ROOTED
CWM 6.0.3
Ok so I wake up yesterday to found out that my Whatsapp suddenly fc. And when i open it back, it shows that my chat backup are messed up and i need to restore it.
And while doing that, it started to reboot by itself.
I thought it will be okay after that.
It not.
Reboot, power on, Dropbox fc. Few seconds after that, reboot again.
power on, another apps fc. after few seconds, reboot again.
It keeps rebooting into the same state when i woke up that morning. Wifi turned on, few notifications on panel, (thou i keep clearing it everytime when it power on)
Now ive tried wipe data , wipe cache, everything in CWM. but it keeps rebooting into the same state!
Ive also tried flash with stock rom via ODIN.
Guess what?
It appear PASS on ODIN, but when the tab powered on, is still went back to the previous same state.
Ive google around and some said it is the sign of memory flash fail or smthing.
anyone maybe could help me out?
im on dead end.
Hello again Xda community I really need some advice here because I'm unfortunately having problems with my phone at first it was a problem with it randomly crashing. In order to address that problem I did the following things - I prevented all apps from running in the background, I set several apps to run on the low data usage setting, and I even cleared the SIM toolkit cache as well as the individual caches of apps that I regularly use but for some reason my phone was still crashing. After installing the latest update my phone was stuck in a boot loop, it's stopped doing that, but it's now stuck on the Samsung galaxy logo screen.
You may have to flash your phone with Odin to fix the issue if you're stuck on boot loop and can't get pass it.

Well, I've managed to turn my phone on again by pressing the power button and the up button, but I'm still having the problem in regards to my phone constantly crashing. One thing that I forgot to mention in my original post is the fact I also removed a large number of files which I was no longer using. I backed these files up by transferring them to my external hard drive even after doing that my phone was still crashing from time to time.
I'm not 100% sure, but It might have something to do with all of the data being kept in my internal storage instead of my SD card which isn't recognised.
Hello. my phone was bricked yesterday after a month of installing one ui 3.0, this issue also happened also in one ui 2.0, and a month before.
My phone boots up normally just fine but after i enter my passcode in the lockscreen the android is starting popup opens and after that it just freezes and just boos again and repeats the same thing over and over.
I did booted up into recovery mode and wiped my phone's cache and repair apps, but there was no menu for the factory data reset. i don't have any clue this is an software issue or an hardware, i want to recover my phone with ODIN but i don't have my computer here right now.
so in conclusion the problem with my phone is that i can boot it normally but if i type in my passcode and the android is starting.... appears and it just freezes and boots up again.
and i don't know why it doesn't have the factory data reset menu on the recovery mode.
please help.

Then just wait until you get hands on a computer and can use odin.
