I noticed that network coverage lost, service disabled was displayed. I put in different SIM card - no success. Checked IMEI - unkonown. Can't enter mobile network preferences(grayed out). Tried to reset through software, nothing happens. Then tried to reset by holding power+down key and after logo flash release power and press again power does'n work. I tried different combination, nothing happens. Then I entered 3845#*802# and when trying to to reset from there - again nothing happens. Tried to select network type in *#*#*#4636#*#*#* and it is changing back to unknown. Phone seems to be very slow and 4636 code needs some 5 minutes to start working.
What could be wrong? I'm out of warranty and have phone only 6 months. I haven't been messing with roms or rooting.

Thank you rico_g01
So I have to look for D80220f ROM version and flash?
Do you reckon it is the only way? I'll flash it, but I would like to know what could cause such a behavior.
Downloade and flash the latest firmware d80230a 5.0.2 from lg-phone-firmware
I don´t know why,it´s wired because this doesn´t hapen to non rooted devices

I opened LG G2 firmware page and got confused. I'm using phone in Ireland, but phone was bought in Latvia(Baltics). Which version should I choose?
I'm now trying to push through sales man who sold me phone to take it for repair, if it does not goes through, I'm going to flash. Never done flashing, so I'll leave it as last resort option.
You can downloade any firmware that is open for the d802
I have on my LG g2 PORTUGAL_OPEN_16G the latest one
I have the virgin mobile variant of the moto g3.
I was able to unlock boot loader, install twrp, and flashed cm.
Everything went well, except I lost service. I restored my backup and all seemed good, but ended up phone calls were not working. Long story, but Ended up flashing factory image and everything is back up and normal. So at least we can always restore, that's good news!
Question is, has anyone else with virgin mobile flashed a ROM yet?

I am getting my VM variant this Tuesday. Im so excited to hear that you were able to unlock the bootloader. I wasnt sure it would be possible. I take it you were also able to root as well?
As for your question I think the reason you were getting no service is because there are currently no Roms for the CMDA variants *YET*, only for the GSM variants. If you look at this post someone has requested certain information and he said it should be easy enough to get cyanogen to work on the VM variant.
Again I am so glad to hear about unlocking the bootloader. How were you able to do it? I looked at the list on Motorola's website and it seemed as unlocking was only for the gsm variant. Thank you
EDIT: PS this user also has the same results as you.
I used motos website to unlock bootloader, it was very simple.
And yes rooted by flashing SuperSU in recovery.
I will check out the posts you linked later today.
This phone is very nice BTW!
I have posted the info requested

Oh I know about this thread. Did you flash the Sprint version? You have Virgin Mobile right? I wasn't sure if we could flash the Sprint version.
Edit: Oh OK so it is the Sprint one we flash. Awesome

Does gsm will work on xt1548?
Hey all.
I've been reading, researching, and trying for days to flash osprey v3.0.0 TWRP. Still no luck.
My PC (Win 8.1) will not recognize the phone when plugged in via fast boot mode. Powered on, it's fine.
The Moto drivers are installed, minimal ADB, and phone settings are correct. Do I need the "full version" of the SDK suite?
Can someone go into detail or a direct topic link on how do get this done successfully and what you did?
After this is in place, I'll be golden
This is the VM version. Still on Lolipop.
Thanks so much!
So is CM working yet? I'm thinking about picking up this VM version tomorrow.

BUMP....
Still patiently awaiting help/suggestion/solution for this above question... I'm stuck until I can get past this point! (
If you get the Data Done Right version of the XT1548 from Walmart, then you will have data issues with all custom ROMs. Apply the APN settings from my post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65987522&postcount=1254 to fix data issues with the Data Done Right variant. Hopefully the APN is merged in with later builds of CM13 so we won't have to manually enter the info in after every flash.
@bjzapp Follow the tutorial in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHbbWE2hsgU
Download the latest version of the TWRP recovery though. Also, after you get a successful recovery flash via fastboot, do not restart the phone. Instead, boot straight into the recovery from the bootloader on the phone. If you don't do this, the recovery will get overwritten with the stock recovery after you reboot.
I have a galaxy s6 s-mg920r7 I recently downloaded a apk twrp 3.0 and flashed to it which caused soft brick I can now only get to download mode. When go recovery it loads twrp up fine but touch screen doesn't work if try boot up normally it bootloops any suggestions be really appreciated

INSTALL BACK TO STOCK THEN use the cf auto root download this use google to search first one that comes up use that link go to model sm-g920p cspire and sprint uses
the same network . Use odin to install i have same phone and have mine rooted in this way. So far tried using the sprint version custom rom it will work but you can make phone calls but not the data side for phone internet. Make sure you go to settings in the phone under find my phone and turn off activation lock
So a few years back i bought an unlocked LG G2 D802 phone from a local retailer. I have always been a Samsung user and never used it and forgot about it. Until recently i remembered about it and as it was out of warranty i decided i should root it and put some custom ROM on it. I rooted it and flashed a custom ROM . But it got stuck on the LG logo at the boot screen. i didn't think of anything at that moment at all. As getting a boot loop is a very common thing in Samsung devices as well and decided i should just stick with a Stock 5.0.2 ROM.
After flashing the stock 5.0.2 i noticed that i lost my imei, baseband etc, and i had forgot to make a backup of the EFS. So now i got suspicious of the phone not being a D802 . i opened it up and sure enough the antenna module had D801/D803 written on it, i proceeded and found the LCD digitizer had D800 written on it and the motherboard had D801 written on it. Now i'm stuck with a useless phone which doesn't have any imei and baseband, i cannot click on the build options to even enable USB debugging mode and i'm not sure of the model.
I should add here that now if i try to flash a stock ROM for d801 with the kdz method i get an error saying i should retry. if i do it with the .tot method it says the device model is d802, which it is not at all. I used the buildprop app and edited the device model to D801 and tried the .tot method again. This time it gave me an error saying that laf.img has been moved and gets stuck in the download mode. I really cannot understand what to do !! please somebody help !
my cellphone lg g3 d851 after the custom rom the twrp is gone and can't be reinstalled the twrp. I want to go back to stock ROM because in this os lineage my cellphone is missing sinyl 4g and 2g. after I tried to flash into stock ROM, a problem occurred that was not detected on the PC even though it was according to instructions in many forums. someone please help me.
