What do I need to do after flashed RUU to gain back my root? Tried to do it from start which is download the revolutionary tools, but I get "_rawadb_handle_msg: unknown command 69766564" error. How can I fixed it? Or is there anyway to regain my root? I have also tried use the One Click Root. Although the program said I have successfully rooted but I'm not. Please help me... :crying:

you can flash 4ext recovery
then from recovery flash this zip file

it will give you root

hmm,
try this
put the recovery.img in your adb and fastboot folder
and type this command in fastboot mode
fastboot boot(or reboot) recovery.img

Solved it already. :laugh: I download another recovery img file to be flash in bootloader and it worked! Thanks for the root zip file :good: Been searching for solutions for half day >.<
P.S: Everytime I go into recovery mode there's a message under "unconfigured: use 4ext apps to set me up" What apps do I need to set it up?

probably means to install 4ext updater or 4ext control app just to keep the 4ext recovery updated

I have flash Vipers rom and I'm stuck at the screen after the viper moving screen. Any solution to this? tired of all the problems... >.<
EDIT: after updated the hboot and flash the radio then it can boot up already... at last...

a ruu brings the device into 100% stock as you bought it
in order to run the ruu you have first to relock your bootloader
that's why you have that error
but do you have a specific reason to use a ruu.exe?
if not then go to mike's thread in development section and download the rom
there is the stock or ARHD rom which is the closest to the stock
the rom it can be flashed from the recovery
and before flashing enable smartflash

which zip file should i flash from recovery?
relocked bootloader and tried to flash this

First of all i re-unlocked the bootloader from HTCDEV.
then enable the smartflash from 4ext recovery menu.
then downloaded this file: Android_Revolution_HD-Sensation_7.2.zip and put it on sdcard.
then install it from sdcard.
then i flashed the boot after flashing.
now it works.

Hey,
few days ago i got a random reboot on my phone and after that nothing worked ... i found out that my phone is bricked :S
but happily there is an unblock Project here on XDA and it worked for me.
My phone now run the stock 4.0.3 ICS version from HTC.
When i now try to root my Sensation i got the message from control bear that my device is already s-off, but all other apps&programms which need root doesn't work.
I already followed the S-on guide but it didn't help me.
Have some of u maybe an idea how i can get back my root access ?

if you still have a custom recovery installed then flash this from it

Thats the Problem i can't get into the recovery ... in some tutorials i installed a new 4ext recovery and it succeed but i don't get in it if i click on recovery the phone boot a while than screen went black and it boot back in the os

when you press the button to enable wifi what it shows you?
does it actually enable wifi?
also try to flash 4ext in that way

when you are trying to flash 4ext does your hboot screen says fastboot usb?
do you have enabled usb debugging mode from settings?
try to flash another recovery and see if you have access
yeah it is fastboot usb and debugging is for sure on otherwise adb wouldnt recognize my phone ^^
i tried now to flash cwm with image and with rom manager but both didn't work

Use a ruu.exe to return to stock
Relock first the bootloader
After ruu installation unlock bootloader again and flash 4ext
See then if you have access

very strange
it is impossible after ruu and after recovery's installation that you still can't enter to recovery
are you sure you are doing everything correctly?(about recovery)
i am out of ideas right now
edit : previously i think i gave the command in the wrong way
put the recovery.img in your adb and fastboot folder and then do this command
fastboot reboot recovery.img or fastboot reboot recovery recovery.img (i don't remember exactly)
yeah im sure that i do everything right, is it maybe possible that with the unbrick guide i damage something

i tried to flash CM 11 KitKat the Albino one. i have tried enabling smartflash and then installing the rom but i have had no luck i have tried to flash other roms and it still isnt working i keep getting a bootloop with the htc logo on it.

make sure you have latest 4ext recovery 1.0.0.6 RC1 and now after smart flash try to flash the boot.img from pc here is guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 Extra 1: Flashing "boot.img"

You booted into bootloader? Make sure you use fastboot and not adb command.

I've searched all over the internet and also here in XDA forum.
I try to flash ROM and I managed to do that with TWRP (2.8.0.1) but my problem is that I after it ask for reboot the screen goes to the start logo with red text and start a loop or something... noting really happens.
I don't have any access to old original ROM because I wiped all the data so it means that I don't have and OS installed.
I HAVE ACCESS ONLY TO THE RECOVERY MODE and to the HBOOT
the ROM I'm trying to install is Liberty-The-Sixth-Element 3.0.0
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.15.0000
RADIO-1.11.50.05.28
OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815
Please help to figure out whats the problem

Thats because you are S-ON, and probably u forgot to flash the boot.img in fastboot mode.
Extract the boot.img from the Rom zip into ur sdk folder and just run in fastboot the command : fastboot flash boot boot.img (considering that the name of the img file is "boot" if it otherwise than u need to change in the command to the current img name )

Ok so a little update. I successfully installed Cyanogenmod 11-20141013-NIGHTLY-Ville (with S-ON) so finally I have an OS.
this OS is great expect of random restarts and battery drain that I still want to fix but not sure how...
maybe someone here knows how to fix that???
And about the other problem
I did that flashboot thing so I think that my only problem is S-OFF/ON... I've tried to gain s-off many times but without success. (before installing CM)
where can I find an understandable tutorial for that?

About ur first problem u should try to ask about it in CM forum.
About s-off i personally gained it by Rumrunner (google it and u'll find a website and instructions how to activate it. ) if u already tried that and failed than i suggest u to run it thru linux and if it doest helps than u should try another method like Moonshine for example (search for it in here ).

I have the same issue - no OS, have access to HBOOT ( but when i try any command, the result is - waiting for device) and Recovery (when i type "adb devices" it recognezes it as device in recovery). My question is - is there any chance to flash custom rom from recovery mode(coz i cant flash boot.img without fastboot) or how can i have access to fastboot commands in recovery mode ? //Sorry for my bad English//

why you can't flash 4ext recovery?
did you have the device in fastboot mode?
did you type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img?
Yes tried fastboot commands tried rashr flashify 4ext.It flashes but when i try to boot in recovery it gives me black screen and then it boots normalk into os after few secs.Im expirienced with flashing and i tried every method.I heard there is adb method if someone could explain to try that

but i suggest to flash a ruu.exe
