QuickSetting not working on Rooted Nexus 5 - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have always had tasker running on my S3 with CM 10.1.3
So naturally I have the same set up for my new nexus 5.
But any functions using quicksetting are not working for some reason. An error msg always pop up: "An Error Occured while executing action: ***"
I use it to switch input methods, bluetooth and nfcs...
Does anyone know whats going on?

Bump..

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I could not get an answer in the forum. I have the same problem, I am using AOKP 4.2.2 build 5 ROM and although the "access to my location" is off, the GPS lock icon appears constantly in the status bar and in the notification bar as "location set by GPS". I've killed all apps but it didn't help. Any thoughts?
I had this gps problem too. It was always on and I could not close it. Only a power off would close it. Found out that the app yahoo weather was causing it. Uninstalled it and problem fix.

[Q] Google Now constant refresh

Is anyone else seeing Google now constantly trying to refresh but never finding anything?
All I see is the weather going nuts in my notification bar, and Google now trying to work with the refresh bar going all the time. Of course the screenshot doesn't tell much because it is just a still image, but the bar under the Google search bar just keeps trying to work but never stops.
Also, my Google keyboard keeps texting itself to the default keyboard even if I set Swype as default.

tried that first, still no joy. Keeps doing it. Disabled add blocking thinking the hosts file may have been the issue...nope. Removed the xposed modules...nope. changed to AOSP...comes back after a day or two. No idea what is going on here.

OK Google keeps crashing/not working.

It works some times but recently I'm trying to say OK GOOGLE and it just shows a blank microphone in the search bar. I have to reset my phone and it will work for a short time before stopping.
I would like to not have to factory reset since I have some very important documents photos and other items.
I don't have a computer to back it up to so that's out of the question.
Any ideas ?

If it crashes you will see a "so and so has stopped working" message on your screen. If the icon is hollowed then Hotword detection is not currently activated. This can happen most commonly when the speaker is outputting any sound so that it doesn't take the speaker output as the microphone input.
