Hello,
I'm new to the community. I generally work on PC but a friend brought me this Samsung Galaxy tab 7.0 Plus that turns on but is stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy tab 7.0 Plus" splash screen when it first turns on. I have tried the" Power+Vol up" to reset to factory but it seems to go too-quickly and then I am back to square one because nothing changed. I dont know if my friend or his kids tried to do anything crazy with this so I don't have much more info.
What I am asking... I want to get this tab back to factory, or at least a working ROM. any advice is helpful but please keep in mind I have never really worked on these devices, the one thing I do know is if I jump to conclusions I can brick the device.
Thanks in advance. If more info is needed please ask.
did you try with a retore power + vol down with Odin

choose between 3.2 honeycomb or 4.0.4 ICS
I got the same problem before !!!

There is my solution
I had a very similar problem to both of you and noticed that the /data (instead of /efs) directory/partition "didn't exist" according to the boot screen when i entered the default recovery mode. i partitioned it and ran a factory reset and it finally booted.
and all just in time to pull the factory US ICS update
Has anyone met the problem with Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2, 609-32 (US Verizon) after it was update to 4.1.2 by air. Namely, when the procedure was finished it stuck on boot (after logo) - black screen with backlight. I tried to do hard reset using Boot Mode Selection Menu (power button + volume up and down) but still after factory reset it wont prolong with booting past logo.
If someone can help solving the problem i would be grateful. Unfortunately i am not able to provide any kind of official service in Motorola. And if someone can try to explain how to do it using my own hands (step-by-step) - i would appreciate. Thank You beforehand, i will accept any answer - positive or negative, but hope someone find couple of minutes.
Hi Guys!
Need some help here.
earlier my phone got stuck in boot animation. so I went to recovery mode and wiped my cache. that seemed to fix the problem. everything went back to normal. well that's what I thought.
Here's what I got:
-pressing the power button quickly locks/wakes the phone.
-pressing a little longer(like a fraction of a second longer) restarts my phone.
-does not show the HTC logo but starts at the Marshmallow boot animation.
Thanks in advance!
My first post BTW.

I have a Acer E380 phone that is still on JB. So I tried to update it to Kitkat 4.4.2 but when I flashed it, it gave me an error about something in the scatter file. so I just removed my phone afterwards and just tried to open it thinking that the installation did nothing. Now my phone just constantly vibrates every 20 seconds or so but the screen is black. Can't boot into recovery or anything. it just vibrated like its going to boot up. I seriously need help please!

Hi,
The issue began all of a sudden and I don't know what caused it.
The issue is that when I power the device on, it gets stuck at the ASUS logo indefinitely and doesn't go beyond that.
To sort this issue out, I searched online and figured that I need to re-flash my firmware.
I might have re-flashed a wrong firmware because now I cannot even enter the droid boot (initially I was able to do that).
So now when I press the power and volume up keys together, the android guy appears for a second and then a white bar with a usb sign appears.
So now the issue is that:
I'm stuck on the ASUS logo whenever the device is switched on AND I cannot enter droid boot because a USB sign with a white bar appears.
What am I supposed to do now? Please explain it to me in detail.
Have I hard brick my device? Or Is it a motherboard issue?
I'm a complete noob when it comes to these things but these terminologies are scaring the hell out of me.
Kindly help me!!
