Hi Guys!
Need some help here.
earlier my phone got stuck in boot animation. so I went to recovery mode and wiped my cache. that seemed to fix the problem. everything went back to normal. well that's what I thought.
Here's what I got:
-pressing the power button quickly locks/wakes the phone.
-pressing a little longer(like a fraction of a second longer) restarts my phone.
-does not show the HTC logo but starts at the Marshmallow boot animation.
Thanks in advance!
My first post BTW.

Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! Depending on which rom you flashed, it may be that you need to update your bootloader. For more help, you can post here: Questions and Answers. You will need to register to post.

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I just want some help as I'm almost out of ideas.
So, the thing is that I have a rooted Galaxy Trend Plus GT-S7580 that was working perfectly up until 2 days ago, when it crashed while watching an ad in a game, and I had to take out the battery as the whole phone was frozen for a long time. After restarting the phone, I noticed a weird behaviour that no apps started up, no matter which one I tapped, and I could barely get into settings and so on either.
I tried restarting afterwards, but the phone couldn't even turn off, and just stayed on a grey screen, while both hardware buttons were light up. This state remained indefinitely, while the phone randomly vibrated at times for a second. I restarted and pulled the battery multiple times, but the apps were still not working and the same issue remained.
What I did afterwards was to try to factory reset and reset cache the phone from recovery mode, which was cwm recovery. Then as the phone was about to reboot, it got stuck on the Samsung Logo with the phone name, and couldn't move on from it. I tried reflashing ROMs and recovery modes since then, but it always stays on the boot screen. I can't even enter recovery mode anymore either, as it just keeps being stuck on the boot logo. I can enter download mode though, and Odin knows my phone is there, but for examples Samsung Kies can't connect to it.
I thought maybe flashing a ROM in Odin along with the additional files such as BL, AP, CP and CSC and PIT could help, but I'm not sure if I should do that yet, especially because I couldn't find all of those correct files for my region so far. So I'm asking for help here. Thank you if you have any useful insight to my issue!
Additional information: I successfully rooted the phone according to this guide a year ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2621087

I haven't recently flashed any new zips so I don't know why it's in a bootloop. I've read in several other threads to remove the battery for a few minutes and then boot it into recovery, but I've had the battery out for 5 hours and it just resumes the bootloop as soon as the diodes touch the battery. I've tried just holding home, volume up, and power the entire time, but it doesn't work. Is there an solution to my issue? Thanks in advance.
Edit #1: The bootloop goes no further than the manufacturer's logo.
Edit #2: For some reason, I was easily able to open download mode and simply reboot my phone from that screen. It booted up normally with no issues. I promptly rebooted straight into recovery and wiped my data, cache, and dalvik. I may just be a noob and not know what I'm doing but I needed to be thorough. It works fine now.

help needed !!
I have a KFHD7(tate) and had been running CM12.1 for a while with only an occasional update using the nightly builds, I only updated occasionally as the unit would not always turn on at the first attempt and would stick at the CM boot logo, after switching it off and back on the unit would run quite smoothly, however none of the updates seemed to cure the problem.
I noticed that there was a new release 'cm-13.0-20160218-UNOFFICIAL-tate' which I flashed via TWRP along with 'open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20160301', these were flashed at the same time.
after a reboot the KFHD7 worked fine with no apparent problems, I then downloaded one of the dark themes,(not sure exact one) and this seemed ok at first, I entered the settings screen and only a few words and graphics were visible!
I rebooted back into TWRP recovery and performed a factory reset from within TWRP ... big mistake, now the unit only boots to the blue TWRP boot screen and blinks off after a few seconds it is stuck in a loop and I dont know how to recover it, I have tried the usual combinations of holding the power and vol buttons but still comes on the same .. any suggestions would be appreciated (dumbed down solutions please as not that techy, but can muddle through if step by step instructions)
