I don't really know if this is the site to post to, but I have a weird issue with my xperia e. I tried to root the device with SRSRoot for Android, and managed to disconnect it while performing root4b. Since then pccompanion does not see the phone, I tried a 'repair' from the support center; a new firmware that was not orange branded (used a flasher); and then repaired it with pccompanion again. Nothing seems to work.
One point to note is that the charging still works.And if I connect it to my usb 3.0 I can initiate the repair that requires me to hold the volume down key...
If anyone knows what I need to repair to make it connect fully with my pc, please contact me here or at [email protected].

Hello,
I'm running CM10 and I need to send my nexus to repair service.
The phone has the following problems:
- "USB device not recognized" when connected to PC
- the power button started to be unresponsive (and soon will be completely K.O.)
I'm still under guarantee so I'm trying to restore official stock android before to send the device,
but I have no idea how to do it..

but as said above the USB doesn't work properly and the procedure cannot be completed.
Probably I have an hardware problem at the phone's USB connector (I try to clean the pins, change the cable and use different PCs but didn't help...).

i was doing regular update of android 5.0 then i connected my mobile in prepare stage i found my mobile shutting down and pc tells me disconnect and reconnect while pressing volume down i reconnected but not recognised i dont know what happened its now dead i tried all solutions i could find
1-software repair
2-power + volume up
any ideas how i can flash software into my xperia as if i can use flashtool to recover my z3 duel ​
Try connecting it to PC Suite. IF it doesn't detect it, then download your appropriate firmware, flash it via falshtool. If it fails to recognize your device, charge it for an hour or so, and then try pressing power and volume keys till flashtool recognizes your phone. It's like searching in the dark but mine worked that way.

I have T-R42 B351 v2.0, it was bricked and i manged to unbriked it buy connecting pin 8&9.
i manged to restore stock firmware from geekbuying blog . after i connect it to the tv i can see the menu screen of the android, no matter what i connect throw the usb there is no response, i tried wireless mouse&keyboard and disk on key... nothing. i don't have it's remote but with other remote some things is responding so i'm know that the system is not stuck.
i tired many firmware since than and every time it's the same. no connectivity throw the usb.
another thing, when i go to recovery screen it is the same, usb not working
what can i do, is it matter of drivers? is it the metod of the unbrick that cause that?
My Z3 will not come out of airplane mode

I'm not sure if this'll work It's probably a hardware fault otherwise,
But you're gonna' need a Windows PC
1).Download Sony PC Companion (Click Here)
2). Plug your device in with the Stock Micro USB Cable into the PC
3). Once it recognizes your device unplug your device and power it off
4). Once your device is off plug your MicroUSB Cable and instantly hold the 'Volume Down' Button (Yes it should be plugged into your PC)
5). If this was done succesfully Sony PC Companion will pick up a device and begin installing the stock firmware or something

you have to repair using Sony PC companion or better yet visit service center if in warranty. hope u have not unlocked bootloader.
Can anyone please help. im stuck in a difficult problem. I cant enter recovery, my phone just loops, and i cant connect it to my pc. Just getting USB device not recognized. The last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. I dont know how to add a new software or restore a backup, and i got a seious battery drain issue. Hope someone can help me. Im on Slim X rom on a E6653.
Download a MM, LP or Nougat firmware.
Let the phone charge and go to flashtool
Load the firmware you downloaded check all the wipe section case and put your phone on flashmode (vol - and stick USB cable while maintaining vol -)
Let flashtool do it's work and once done it should be OK
I have tried that, but my computer cant fin my phone, so i cant use flashtool
I found out of it. Had a faulty usb cord. Im happy again.
