i was doing regular update of android 5.0 then i connected my mobile in prepare stage i found my mobile shutting down and pc tells me disconnect and reconnect while pressing volume down i reconnected but not recognised i dont know what happened its now dead i tried all solutions i could find
1-software repair
2-power + volume up
any ideas how i can flash software into my xperia as if i can use flashtool to recover my z3 duel
Try connecting it to PC Suite. IF it doesn't detect it, then download your appropriate firmware, flash it via falshtool. If it fails to recognize your device, charge it for an hour or so, and then try pressing power and volume keys till flashtool recognizes your phone. It's like searching in the dark but mine worked that way.
Hi, I'm a little perplexed, how is there regular update to 5.0 already?

i have the same problem guys and i've tried every possible way in this forum
please let us know what youve done on your phone before this things happen.
you have to force your pc to install your phones driver so wmshua can detect your phone.
try to connect your phone to computer via usb cable without backcover then hold the power and volume down, while holding press reset button of your xperia c, don't release the power and volume just wait to your computer response, if you see installing driver then that's your lucky day if not try it again.
and one last thing you can try to turnoff your phone by holding power/volume+/voume- for couple of seconds, when you successfully turn your phone off try to connect the use cable to the computer first then while connecting to your phone hold power and volume- and wait if your pc install the driver.

I'm not sure if this'll work It's probably a hardware fault otherwise,
But you're gonna' need a Windows PC
1).Download Sony PC Companion (Click Here)
2). Plug your device in with the Stock Micro USB Cable into the PC
3). Once it recognizes your device unplug your device and power it off
4). Once your device is off plug your MicroUSB Cable and instantly hold the 'Volume Down' Button (Yes it should be plugged into your PC)
5). If this was done succesfully Sony PC Companion will pick up a device and begin installing the stock firmware or something

I install the rom stock lollipop by ftf the xperia m2 aqua and after the cell procedure does not start nor identifies more flashmode, when I connect the pc shows that he was connected to mtp mode and the device does not care any more solution please, do not I have more to send him to the assistance, cry:crying:

Power off the phone by: press with something sharp hole by simcard, or hold volume up (+) and power button together, you'll feel vibration, hold it little more until another vibration, now your phone is off.
Now prepare ftf in Flashtool (don't use latest one, use 9.18.6) when it prompt to connect the phone, press volume down and connect it. Wait till it finishes.
You can also use PC Companion repair option, it have SUS integrated in it.

Can anyone please help. im stuck in a difficult problem. I cant enter recovery, my phone just loops, and i cant connect it to my pc. Just getting USB device not recognized. The last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. I dont know how to add a new software or restore a backup, and i got a seious battery drain issue. Download a MM, LP or Nougat firmware.
Let the phone charge and go to flashtool
Load the firmware you downloaded check all the wipe section case and put your phone on flashmode (vol - and stick USB cable while maintaining vol -)
Let flashtool do it's work and once done it should be OK
I have tried that, but my computer cant fin my phone, so i cant use flashtool

Solved.
Here's how for future reference if someone encounters a similar issue.
1. Disconnect battery and reconnect it
2. Download and install Xperia Companion Tool from Sony (tested on Mac, but the Windows version should work as well)
3. Choose Repair Software/Xperia on the Companion tool
4. Connect phone to computer using a USB cable
5. Disconnect phone when the Xperia splashscreen appears.
Done.
