About to give it a try
EDIT: I flashed it and everything went good. . only issues I seen where that the home button wasn't working and the quick toggles button in the notification drawer wasn't functioning either.

You need to follow the install instructions. You MUST reboot between flashing the rom and gapps.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Just finished installing and as mentioned the home button is borked. I'll be out for a few hours using it to play tunes. I installed BBS, Jet and Android Tuner. Set minimum clock speeds to 192. So I'll play tunes for the next few hours and report back later with performance and battery results. You might also want to consider adding a file explorer to this. It makes it super easy to just pull up and install apks without the need to connect to play. Thanks for putting this out there.

How did you install it? Did you flash the gapps at the same time as the rom?

Yep. Flashed ROM then Gapps. Wiped cache/dalvik. Rebooted. That's the way I always do it. I'll do it the way you have in the OP next time and see if that helps at all. lol Also just noticed that the lockscreen doesn't come up. If you hit power it brings you straight into the launcher. I checked ROM control and everything looks good there.

Funny thing is I've been flashing a long time and have never had issues. Why is this order so important? If you just flash the ROM and reboot it builds the dalvik. If you then go back after letting it settle and flash Gapps you wipe the cache and dalvik again. So then the ROM has to rebuild. Why not do it in one shot? Not disagreeing with you at all just trying to better my understanding of why this makes a difference.

That I am not sure. Just try it and let me know if it works. It's the same with miui too though. If you flash everything at the same time you lose your home button.

Cool. I'll try it that way later. I'm on my way out the door to test this thing under real life conditions. Like bouldering. Music makes climbing so much better.

@toyes when you remove the setup wizard from gapps it will frack the home button when flashing rom and gapps at the same time, rom must be booted first b4 flashing a gapps package w/out the setup wizard

Thanks. Ya I knew it has something to do with the gapps package but I wasn't sure what. As long as people follow the install instructions there shouldn't be any issues.

Well you learn something new everyday. lol It indeed works fine flashing the ROM first then rebooting to flash Gapps. But you guys already figured that one out. As far as battery goes I listened to tunes for 4 hours with headphones and have 80% left. So 5%/hour. About the same as putting a regular ROM in Airplane mode. That was with wifi bluetooth and gps off.

Glad to see this project has materialized Toyes. I'll charge up the ol' rocket tonight and run this puppy through its paces tomorrow. Since wifi is still included, the xbox glass app will still work right? I mean, I don't think it needs any other type of connection, correct? If you're unsure, I'll test tomorrow and report back.

Next version is in the works already. I may have to turn this into a phone functional rom too...

[ROM] CM10-PA-AOKP Mashup [4.1.2]

This ROM is out of date and no longer supported.
The old OP can still be found by clicking below:
CM10+PA+AOPK=ParanoidKangDroid V1.40 *STABLE*MOST CUSTOMIZABLE JB 4.1.2 ROM(12.03.12)
This really isn't ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, or CyanogenMod anymore. When you put them all together you have something totally new. With this ROM you can do interesting things like having new rows of toggles and many other things that you'll have to find on your own. However keep in mind that on some occasions different settings can cause conflicts with others considering they're not supposed to be together in the first place, so just be smart about what you do.
This Rom is Stable 4.1.2 & the customization is endless to create the L00K you like!

PARANOID TABLET MODE WORKS 100%
If you have an issue and you want to call my attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread, Cyanogenmod's, ParanoidAndroid's, and AOKP's as well for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.
Edit: Now that the OP is mine, I removed the red because it was annoying the **** out of me.
If you want anything added to this such as any 4.2 features, please feel free to PM me.
I will keep up on this thread and keep this as up to date as I possibly can.
If something doesn't work, tell me and I'll fix it.
You may need to pull your battery and turn your device back on after setting a different interface mode such as 'Tablet'. We are looking into a possible fix for this.
Wow, neat! I know there are other roms like Pacman and King Kang that are mashups of PA, CM, and AOKP, does this ROM have something different? Nothin' like a new rom in the forums! Thanks!

This ROM has a lot of customization. Also, to get tablet mode you just set the settings under paranoid just like you would an actual paranoid android rom!
There's no need to go into settings and 'Force Tablet UI'
Enjoy!

fyi, if you go into camera and zoom and then click a picture it locks up... till you reboot your phone... so no for me 4.2 isn't working exactly right.
After installing with 4.2gapps, and setting everything up I rebooted and now it hangs on the paranoikangdroid splash screen. Battery pull did not help.
Everything installed fine and it's up and running. Problem with Dolphin Browser, though. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, it will open then close right away - not a FC, but just close.

Is anyone having problems with echo when you're on the phone? It sounds clear on my end but everyone I talk to says they can hear themselves. Other than that I'm loving the rom so far.

No complaints of echo. Is it just one person that said that? Or is it with every call?
Overall, I'm really loving the looks of this ROM, but there are two visual issues that are really annoying: The first, in the below image, is the icon to resize the screen zoom(between the clock and the wifi signal).

Is there any way to hide that?
The second is in the notification menu, there's the text, "Roaming Indicator Off". Is there some way to turn the roaming indicator on or otherwise get rid of it?

Not force closing. Just opening up (screen goes white as app loads), then closes (disappears) right away. No dialogue box, nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, both Dolphin Browser and the Jetpack that goes with it. Chrome, Browser, etc work fine.
Here's a logcat.

The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience, just like on Google's Nexus devices, to non-nexus devices.
SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. A lot of improvements and optimizations have been done to the Google's Source Code to have the best possible Vanilla Android Experience.
SuperNexus is very light too as there are no 3rd party apps (ZERO Bloatware).

All settings are in settings>domination yes those tabs swipe over at the top
Don't disable quicktiles sorry it causes sytem ui crash
If you have any questions on finding things just ask this Rom has a bit too many settings and its easy to get lost.
I'm gonna install right now just cuz I'm up...thanks for the new rom man.

U should test Roms b4 release... Or at least have couple ppl beta test for u before release.... If ur asking if it even boots, that's not very confident.. Not trying to be mean or anything just saying plz make sure it works.

Interesting ROM, giving it a go. Needed something fresh for my spare.
Just FYI, the startup wizard kept crashing on first boot, and I couldn't get past language selection page until I rebooted. Then on second boot it seemed to loop on some of the selection menus. For instance the allow google access to your location page page came up like 3 or four times after moving past the page.
Beyond that, the settings APK through me a bit, but will install and see how it fares from there.
Thanks!

Did you use the new build and format system and only use our gapps I never heard of those issues. I find that Google keeps bugging me for access which is getting annoying it only persists in slim gapps even though they are the only ones that will invert.

Was the earlier build (0618) as I grabbed it this morn., but didn't flash until an hour ago.
I did a full wipe (cache, factory reset, and dalvik), and used the DominationGapps.
I also just tried loading Titanium backup (to load the settings APK) and no root, granted I didn't flash an SU zip.
Downloading the latest zip (0619) now and will reflash and let ya know how that goes.

Yeah I uploaded 6/19 I don't how these issues raised maybe main dev did something. I have my kang of this ROM with linaro 4.8 and other tweaks to speed up this feature filled ROM . I'm running mine and haven't really looked at our default builds but I assure su worked two days ago both default build and tweaked.

reflashed 6-19 build
World of difference with the 0619 build.
No errors on initial setup, SU is in place, everything seems pretty smooth. Also saw the pie controls pop up, didn't see those previously.
Will keep playing with it, and let ya know if anything comes up.
Thanks again!

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. First Timer? Full wipe of system, data cache and dalvic is a must before flashing cm11 for the first time, then flash gapps..
Repeat Offender? Only wipe cache and dalvik..
This ROM is stable for the most part with audio, data, wifi and such all working..The builds will be stronger,more stable and full of features as things get worked out and features implemented..
You can find and download the newest updates (once you are on the rom) by going to settings/about phone and tapping Cyanogenmod Updates..It will allow you to download and install all in one step.
~~~ART IS NOW AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION~~~
ART (the new Android Runtime) is now available for use with this device.It helps with performance and overall stability of the rom. It is still early and if there are any issues you may come across while using it, you are welcome to switch back to dalvik until it has some more time to get smoothed out..Some apps are NOT ART compatible yet..Its seems more only an issue if restoring backups or side loading..some apps will not install by side load until they are updated..if you are already running art then feel free to only wipe cache and dalvic before flash..if you choose to have your device run dalvic (normally) and have full access to your app backups and/or full app compatibility that's fine as well and the flash process would be the same as above..if you are wanting to see what art is all about, I do recommend a full wipe so there is no app issues on boot..in that case full wipe, flash ROM and gapps..reboot..change to art in developer options..it will reboot and take a hot minute to optimize the apps..then you will not need to do it again when you flash alpha 4. YOU NEED TO RUN THE UPDATED GAPPS PACKAGE IF CONVERTING TO ART AS IT IS OPTIMIZED FOR THAT PURPOSE...
More info to come..
Work in progress..
~I do all this for the "Thanks", but a little beer helps me work better. (And I could use one. )...~
Thanks to those who have donated to me through my projects....
mine....
Just one more for good measure..
THANKS
At last the official N. is here.. thanks ink.........for the hard. work..
:good:
I blindly installed this with CM updater not realizing that it was 11 not 10! I'll do a full wipe and reinstall soon, just noting that wifi doesn't turn on now though a reinstall will fix it I bet.
Awesome work!
Yea I noticed the same thing, if you do a dirty flash or even just restore data from 10.2 it breaks the WiFi. Everything else works great.
Incase anyone curious..if there was any issues upgrading the nightly, check android version number in about phone..its now 4.4.2...I have also noticed that after updating with cmupdater, after the flash, one should boot into recovery by button combo and wipe cache and dalvic before allowing to boot..seems to help with any issues..
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I577 using xda app-developers app
I'll try that later and see if it fixes the broken WiFi after updating.
Are you using an adblock app?
Edit: Mine works fine but then again, I flashed the 4.4.1 minimal gapps from slim last night..Either way, YouTube is a Google app..not built into the ROM..so the bug lies there (if you aren't using a adblocker..because that DOES interfere)..
no ad blockers. i tried re-installing and tried different modems and still nothing. Went back to the 12-10-13 rom and it works again. I dont get it
Gave it a go and flashed it, have been using it all day and this is what I've noticed so far. You added Viper4Android as the default equalizer (which I love personally) but I can't for the life of me figure out how to add it to the app drawer. The signal has been a little iffy still, sometimes I'll lose signal for around a minute or so. Other than that so far so good. Keep up the good work.
Hmmm... just flashed and for some reason my home button isn't working. It will work to wake the device up, but i can't use it to take me to the launcher, or if I change the settings, double press, and long press don't do anything either.
Having some trouble installing using TWRP 2.8.4.0. I did the default wipe, installed the 1/31 nightly and tried flashing Gapps which failed. Upon rebooting, 10 mins in and it was still loading.
I came from stock unlocked 4.1.2 on a VZW S3. Any ideas? Is it supposed to take longer?
I got it. Realized that I had to wipe "System" also.
Having great results so far. My issues have always been in the past were Bluetooth from any AOSP rom would crash, not connect, or hot reboot phone. Not having one single issue.
PSA: If you are having issues with Viper4Android show 'abnormal' status on Driver Status, or when you're playing music and go open V4A, it says you gotta re-install it. I found a fix for that.
Download these zips and flash them in recovery. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56964275&postcount=15914
Once you installed those zips, reboot and download SELinux Mode Changer, don't open V4A yet - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux&hl=en
Once installed, change SELinux to permissive. Open V4A and install the driver. Reboot your phone and now it should be working for you
Working for me using GoneMad Player
[EDIT] funny as i posted this my wifi decided to work lol. XD
I'm having problems with WiFi. It works at first with no problems but when I toggle it off and try to turn it back on, it says 'turning on wifi' forever. When I restart phone it is working again. Some reason, like right now, I can't Even turn WiFi off. *shrugs* other than this, great rom! Still gonna use it until contract is up
