The main idea behind SuperNexus is to provide Vanilla Android experience, just like on Google's Nexus devices, to non-nexus devices.
SuperNexus is entirely built from Google's AOSP Source. A lot of improvements and optimizations have been done to the Google's Source Code to have the best possible Vanilla Android Experience.
SuperNexus is very light too as there are no 3rd party apps (ZERO Bloatware).

Very interesting, I thought this might finally get me back to 4.2. Simple Nexus is all I wanted but it has the same little things that just won't work on Skyrocket. Tethering isn't working routing so I'll also assume the BT and other little things still won't work.
It worked everything nice including getting my apps back but of course the same little things are not yet right. back to 4.1 again..

Derp... This still relies on cm's device trees and kernel so of course the issues will persist. Nobody in their right mind would try to do all of that work again when it has been done. :banghead:

SlimBean 5Brought to you by CedArctic & Akateha - Team Pear Crew
Well our device needed a light and fast Android Build. So I bring you the only port of SlimBean 5 (4.2.2) for our device. This is a port based on the ROM besttt and his friends. It's actually a nightly but it is stable enough for daily use with minor quirks. I ported this with other expectations but turned out to be a SlimBean ROM (LOL) but anyways I have decided to share the ROM with the community. Anyways enjoy the speed and stability of SlimBean 5 ROM.
How to install:
For S-OFF:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps and Root Fix
7. Follow the Optimization Section
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
1. Boot to Recovery
2. Factory Data reset
3. Wipe Dalvik
4. Format System
5. Install ROM Zip from Sdcard
6. Install Google Apps and Root Fix
7. Flash kernel (inside zip "boot.img") via fastboot.
8. Follow the optimization section.

Yes,I've noticed it.
Can it be fixed?
We are currently working on it. We hope to make a major release 4 (MR4) with the issue fixed and then the ROM going into stable state and no more updates to be needed.
Just curious...
if
BR = Beta Release
SR = Stable Release,
then
What MR stands for?
or is it just a name?

Just finished installing and as mentioned the home button is borked. I'll be out for a few hours using it to play tunes. I installed BBS, Jet and Android Tuner. Set minimum clock speeds to 192. So I'll play tunes for the next few hours and report back later with performance and battery results. You might also want to consider adding a file explorer to this. It makes it super easy to just pull up and install apks without the need to connect to play. Thanks for putting this out there.

Yep. Flashed ROM then Gapps. Wiped cache/dalvik. Rebooted. That's the way I always do it. I'll do it the way you have in the OP next time and see if that helps at all. lol Also just noticed that the lockscreen doesn't come up. If you hit power it brings you straight into the launcher. I checked ROM control and everything looks good there.

Funny thing is I've been flashing a long time and have never had issues. Why is this order so important? If you just flash the ROM and reboot it builds the dalvik. If you then go back after letting it settle and flash Gapps you wipe the cache and dalvik again. So then the ROM has to rebuild. Why not do it in one shot? Not disagreeing with you at all just trying to better my understanding of why this makes a difference.

@toyes when you remove the setup wizard from gapps it will frack the home button when flashing rom and gapps at the same time, rom must be booted first b4 flashing a gapps package w/out the setup wizard

Thanks. Ya I knew it has something to do with the gapps package but I wasn't sure what. As long as people follow the install instructions there shouldn't be any issues.
Well you learn something new everyday. lol It indeed works fine flashing the ROM first then rebooting to flash Gapps. But you guys already figured that one out. As far as battery goes I listened to tunes for 4 hours with headphones and have 80% left. So 5%/hour. About the same as putting a regular ROM in Airplane mode. That was with wifi bluetooth and gps off.
Glad to see this project has materialized Toyes. I'll charge up the ol' rocket tonight and run this puppy through its paces tomorrow. Since wifi is still included, the xbox glass app will still work right? I mean, I don't think it needs any other type of connection, correct? If you're unsure, I'll test tomorrow and report back.

Next version is in the works already. I may have to turn this into a phone functional rom too...

Honestly I run miui, it's my favorite ROM. I have never had home button issues by flashing ROM and Google apps together. That's the way I always flash.

It all depends on the gapps package you flash.

the quick FAQ
yes, I got this to build.
no, it has not been tested.
yes, things are broken. (only thing i know for sure is audio. but plenty of other stuff can go wrong)
no, I will not be supporting these builds. wait for cm to release official nightlys if you want any kind of support.
I might post changes on github. if i get around to it. again, do not expect support from me.
Also, I do not own and I do not think I have ever seen a d2vzw. give me one, and I'll give much more support.
now that that is over with, some details. this requires a recent version of cwm recovery (don't ask which. I use twrp2) or twrp2 version 2.6.3.1 or greater.
the only major change i made was disabling alsa (audio). I also merged a couple d2 specific commits that cm hadn't yet.
flash, and enjoy.

wanted second post, but 3rd is good enough i guess. 4th is fine...
The NEW quick FAQ, because it appears we need a new one...
1. No, I am no longer working on this. My builds are old and not fully working.
2. No, this is not official cyanogenmod. It is not supported or endorsed by the cyanogenmod team. The only involvement cyanogenmod has here so far is giving us source and fixes to kang, build, and post.
3. Use the latest frikkin cwm or use twrp version 2.6.3.1 or greater! It will not ****ing flash with anything older! (Twrp 2.6.3.0 is the latest officially available for the d2vzw at the time of this writing. Yes, that conflicts with my above statement. Not my fault. Bug whoever is in charge of twrp for the d2vzw).
4. This is BASED almost ENTIRELY on the work of cyanogenmod. We are just unofficial build monkeys. They work, we build. If anyone is "stealing code," its us. (And using that term in that way violates the spirit of open source.)
So seriously guys, quit fighting and causing issues. Either enjoy the roms, or gtfo.

Not sure if this is a twrp issue but I have been trying to port this all day with the same issues as this.

~NIGHTLIES ARE UP!! ~
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
~DISCLAIMER~
* Your warranty is now void. *
~I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.~
~Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
before flashing it!~
~YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.~
~Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
cause of male impotence (so decide if its worth it).~
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review at http://review.cyanogenmod.com. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features here http://www.cmxlog.com/11/.
Official CyanogenMod Wiki for your device: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/T769_Info
Known Issues That Will Be Fixed
Speakerphone "muting" bug STILL exists
Camcorder preview is out of focus
Scanner apps (code scanners and bank apps) do not work
Bluetooth can be a bit spotty-but should work
IMPORTANT: Many CM10.2 features have not been ported forward to CM11.0.

First Timer? Full wipe of system, data cache and dalvic is a must before flashing cm11 for the first time, then flash gapps..
Repeat Offender? Only wipe cache and dalvik..
This ROM is stable for the most part with audio, data, wifi and such all working..The builds will be stronger,more stable and full of features as things get worked out and features implemented..
You can find and download the newest updates (once you are on the rom) by going to settings/about phone and tapping Cyanogenmod Updates..It will allow you to download and install all in one step.
~~~ART IS NOW AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION~~~
ART (the new Android Runtime) is now available for use with this device.It helps with performance and overall stability of the rom. It is still early and if there are any issues you may come across while using it, you are welcome to switch back to dalvik until it has some more time to get smoothed out..Some apps are NOT ART compatible yet..Its seems more only an issue if restoring backups or side loading..some apps will not install by side load until they are updated..if you are already running art then feel free to only wipe cache and dalvic before flash..if you choose to have your device run dalvic (normally) and have full access to your app backups and/or full app compatibility that's fine as well and the flash process would be the same as above..if you are wanting to see what art is all about, I do recommend a full wipe so there is no app issues on boot..in that case full wipe, flash ROM and gapps..reboot..change to art in developer options..it will reboot and take a hot minute to optimize the apps..then you will not need to do it again when you flash alpha 4. YOU NEED TO RUN THE UPDATED GAPPS PACKAGE IF CONVERTING TO ART AS IT IS OPTIMIZED FOR THAT PURPOSE...
More info to come..
Work in progress..
~I do all this for the "Thanks", but a little beer helps me work better. (And I could use one. )...~
Thanks to those who have donated to me through my projects....
mine....
Just one more for good measure..
THANKS
At last the official N. is here.. thanks ink.........for the hard. work..
:good:
I blindly installed this with CM updater not realizing that it was 11 not 10! I'll do a full wipe and reinstall soon, just noting that wifi doesn't turn on now though a reinstall will fix it I bet.
Awesome work!
Yea I noticed the same thing, if you do a dirty flash or even just restore data from 10.2 it breaks the WiFi. Everything else works great.
Incase anyone curious..if there was any issues upgrading the nightly, check android version number in about phone..its now 4.4.2...I have also noticed that after updating with cmupdater, after the flash, one should boot into recovery by button combo and wipe cache and dalvic before allowing to boot..seems to help with any issues..
I'll try that later and see if it fixes the broken WiFi after updating.
Are you using an adblock app?
Edit: Mine works fine but then again, I flashed the 4.4.1 minimal gapps from slim last night..Either way, YouTube is a Google app..not built into the ROM..so the bug lies there (if you aren't using a adblocker..because that DOES interfere)..
