Gave it a go and flashed it, have been using it all day and this is what I've noticed so far. You added Viper4Android as the default equalizer (which I love personally) but I can't for the life of me figure out how to add it to the app drawer. The signal has been a little iffy still, sometimes I'll lose signal for around a minute or so. Other than that so far so good. Keep up the good work.

Hmmm... just flashed and for some reason my home button isn't working. It will work to wake the device up, but i can't use it to take me to the launcher, or if I change the settings, double press, and long press don't do anything either.

This says Lollipop in the title but the screenshots don't look like Lollipop... I got all excited because I was waiting patiently for someone to finally make a d2lte Lollipop ROM because I loved the UI.
Anything new in this one?

This is lollipop. Even says it in the title and download.

Installed and going to test drive it for a few days. It is indeed Lollipop! Despite the screenshots it has the lovely material interface and it is Liquid Smooth and Lightning Fast. Thanks for the wonderful release!

Having some trouble installing using TWRP 2.8.4.0. I did the default wipe, installed the 1/31 nightly and tried flashing Gapps which failed. Upon rebooting, 10 mins in and it was still loading.
I came from stock unlocked 4.1.2 on a VZW S3. Any ideas? Is it supposed to take longer?

I got it. Realized that I had to wipe "System" also.

Having great results so far. My issues have always been in the past were Bluetooth from any AOSP rom would crash, not connect, or hot reboot phone. Not having one single issue.
PSA: If you are having issues with Viper4Android show 'abnormal' status on Driver Status, or when you're playing music and go open V4A, it says you gotta re-install it. I found a fix for that.
Download these zips and flash them in recovery. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56964275&postcount=15914
Once you installed those zips, reboot and download SELinux Mode Changer, don't open V4A yet - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux&hl=en
Once installed, change SELinux to permissive. Open V4A and install the driver. Reboot your phone and now it should be working for you
Working for me using GoneMad Player

[EDIT] funny as i posted this my wifi decided to work lol. XD

I'm having problems with WiFi. It works at first with no problems but when I toggle it off and try to turn it back on, it says 'turning on wifi' forever. When I restart phone it is working again. Some reason, like right now, I can't Even turn WiFi off. *shrugs* other than this, great rom! Still gonna use it until contract is up

You need to follow the install instructions. You MUST reboot between flashing the rom and gapps.

Just finished installing and as mentioned the home button is borked. I'll be out for a few hours using it to play tunes. I installed BBS, Jet and Android Tuner. Set minimum clock speeds to 192. So I'll play tunes for the next few hours and report back later with performance and battery results. You might also want to consider adding a file explorer to this. It makes it super easy to just pull up and install apks without the need to connect to play. Thanks for putting this out there.

Yep. Flashed ROM then Gapps. Wiped cache/dalvik. Rebooted. That's the way I always do it. I'll do it the way you have in the OP next time and see if that helps at all. lol Also just noticed that the lockscreen doesn't come up. If you hit power it brings you straight into the launcher. I checked ROM control and everything looks good there.

Funny thing is I've been flashing a long time and have never had issues. Why is this order so important? If you just flash the ROM and reboot it builds the dalvik. If you then go back after letting it settle and flash Gapps you wipe the cache and dalvik again. So then the ROM has to rebuild. Why not do it in one shot? Not disagreeing with you at all just trying to better my understanding of why this makes a difference.

Thanks. Ya I knew it has something to do with the gapps package but I wasn't sure what. As long as people follow the install instructions there shouldn't be any issues.
Well you learn something new everyday. lol It indeed works fine flashing the ROM first then rebooting to flash Gapps. But you guys already figured that one out. As far as battery goes I listened to tunes for 4 hours with headphones and have 80% left. So 5%/hour. About the same as putting a regular ROM in Airplane mode. That was with wifi bluetooth and gps off.
Glad to see this project has materialized Toyes. I'll charge up the ol' rocket tonight and run this puppy through its paces tomorrow. Since wifi is still included, the xbox glass app will still work right? I mean, I don't think it needs any other type of connection, correct? If you're unsure, I'll test tomorrow and report back.

the quick FAQ
yes, I got this to build.
no, it has not been tested.
yes, things are broken. (only thing i know for sure is audio. but plenty of other stuff can go wrong)
no, I will not be supporting these builds. wait for cm to release official nightlys if you want any kind of support.
I might post changes on github. if i get around to it. again, do not expect support from me.
Also, I do not own and I do not think I have ever seen a d2vzw. give me one, and I'll give much more support.
now that that is over with, some details. this requires a recent version of cwm recovery (don't ask which. I use twrp2) or twrp2 version 2.6.3.1 or greater.
the only major change i made was disabling alsa (audio). I also merged a couple d2 specific commits that cm hadn't yet.
flash, and enjoy.

wanted second post, but 3rd is good enough i guess. 4th is fine...
The NEW quick FAQ, because it appears we need a new one...
1. No, I am no longer working on this. My builds are old and not fully working.
2. No, this is not official cyanogenmod. It is not supported or endorsed by the cyanogenmod team. The only involvement cyanogenmod has here so far is giving us source and fixes to kang, build, and post.
3. Use the latest frikkin cwm or use twrp version 2.6.3.1 or greater! It will not ****ing flash with anything older! (Twrp 2.6.3.0 is the latest officially available for the d2vzw at the time of this writing. Yes, that conflicts with my above statement. Not my fault. Bug whoever is in charge of twrp for the d2vzw).
4. This is BASED almost ENTIRELY on the work of cyanogenmod. We are just unofficial build monkeys. They work, we build. If anyone is "stealing code," its us. (And using that term in that way violates the spirit of open source.)
So seriously guys, quit fighting and causing issues. Either enjoy the roms, or gtfo.

BOOM! I was hoping for a pure AOSP and/or Gummy.
I've heard some good things about Gummy. Can't wait to try it out. But before I go through the trouble of flashing and such, is there circle battery w/ percentage on this? That's ultimately the deal breaker for me so far on KitKat

Yes, circle battery w/ percentage is included. Using it myself right now.

Everybody make sure you are using the latest recovery . twrp 2.6.3.1 works for kit Kat previous versions do not.

Have you tested any of the custom kernels? I assume BMS and KT work, as they work with all the CM11 builds out there, but I thought I'd ask.
My deal breaker would be with Tap-to-Pay. Will this work with Google Wallet's TTP?
Downloading now. Really hoping this one doesn't have the FC and random reboot issues like some of the others.

No Verizon phone will, due to the ongoing disagreement VZ has with the Google payment method. Don't expect ANY rom to come out with functioning tap-to-pay until Verizon works out their beef with Google. You can try some of the hacks people have posted for 4.3 roms, but I haven't seen anyone report that it worked on a 4.4 rom; make sure you use one of the older Wallet versions, because all newer versions for VZ devices have that functionality broken.

Also, does FB sync with the contacts?

Yes, other 4.3 roms got it to work, through using the hack and an older version of Wallet.... which I already said was the case. No one has successfully had T2P work with Wallet on a 4.4 rom on a VZ Samsung device yet... at least not that's being reported on xda. You will not find T2P working on a flashable rom until Verizon and Google settle their dispute; devs are not going to incorporate the hack because it works for some and not for others.
If you need T2P, try the 4.3 hack and report back to us if it worked... otherwise, stick with a hacked 4.3 rom if you need the functionality.

FYI... just flashed and didn't get a data connection. Tried the usual techniques to get it to work, but no dice. :/
On it an loving it. Great work. Only other thing I need on this ROM is RAM Usage Bar on Recents and a notification status bar toggles.

Data has been working well for me. Sometime it takes a few minutes to hook up but has always come on eventually. Check under status your IMEI and see if you didn't lose it.

Ahh good call. I believe my IMEI was there (I glanced really fast), but it might not have been. Does a firmware flash remedy that? I've never had that issue before.
No a firmware flash won't do it. Best to flash to a backup where it was there. Then make backup of the IMEI. There is a script I think on xda that will do it. I keep a copy of the back on my PC too just in case.

How long has this build been a beta and are there any known issues ? The reason I ask is it is listed as an "official " build.

I have been using the rom for 4 days, it is daily driver material. The boot time is on very long side but the rom is smooth as hell.
Nexus11, how can I have my notifications expanded automatically? Right now it isn't and the text is compressed, it's hard to read. Thanks!

It will help us give more time to it since we can see the issue. Things on XDA can get forgotten
It is a lovely ROM and very smooth. Amazing boot animation however the boot time is quite long. I found myself a few moments ago stranded outside because I had to wait for my phone to boot for what felt like an eternity just so I could make a call to let me in lol. And it took a bit before reception kicked in. Anyways it seems like a great ROM, I would just like a Dark toggle for late at night. The white hurts my eyes after a while. I understand what the general idea was but a Dark toggle would be nice is all I'm saying
Edit: Also I'm not seeing a file manager/explorer anywhere :?

Well.....I flashed your rom twice. The first time when I got to the welcome screen I got a few notifications...system ui has stopped, dialer has stopped, etc so I reflashed and I am assuming it was a bootloop because it went on for what felt like forever. That's when I restored my backup. Honestly, even if it had gone smoothly the boot time would kill me. Sorry
Anyone test gps lock and voice texting? The last 4.4.4 roms I tried..Spirit and Gummy..both had fc after hitting the mic button to voice text.. And the GPS locked on and seemed good but didn't stay that way when using for a long time. It would drop the connection and not display your miles per hour accuratley. I'm scared to try another KitKat rom until that is sorted out lol use those features everyday. Also which radio is recommended? I am actually liking mf1 again.

I'm not a good person to post bugs... my SGSIII is all sorts of messed up. It reboots like 10 times a day most days and sometimes (like right now) goes through fits where it reboots almost constantly for 10-20 minutes at a time. That's not specific to your ROM though. Seems like it does it on any AOSP based rom.. or maybe its just the CM kernel. I dunno. The TW ones are fine though, which is weird.
Anyway, here is the screenshot...
Hi! My first time using a lollipop rom. it seems rather fresh and everything
I ran this on my unlocked d2vzw on att carrier but it's not receiving any reception
any solutions?

Holy wow just wow.. Liquid lollipop is awesome... Except for the camera [emoji20]
This is the second lollipop ROM I'm testing for the day.. And am loving it better than the 1st[emoji16] ...
Kudos to team liquid and you OP for sharing, and hoping camera gets fixed in next succeeding updates
Working great so far.. Only issue I've found is that Apollo force closes when opened and won't work. Other than that, Liquid LP is awesome

So is there no way to get the regular material theme? I didn't see a way to switch off from the dark.
Probably a dumb question, but do any of the other kernels work with 5.0 or just the built-in one right now?
