* Status Bar Mods
* Hardware Key Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Lock clock widget
* QuickSettings

2. Download Gapps
3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache

- Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting * * Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
- Thank you to Google for the best source code.

BOOM! I was hoping for a pure AOSP and/or Gummy.
I've heard some good things about Gummy. Can't wait to try it out. But before I go through the trouble of flashing and such, is there circle battery w/ percentage on this? That's ultimately the deal breaker for me so far on KitKat

Yes, circle battery w/ percentage is included. Using it myself right now.

Everybody make sure you are using the latest recovery . twrp 2.6.3.1 works for kit Kat previous versions do not.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Have you tested any of the custom kernels? I assume BMS and KT work, as they work with all the CM11 builds out there, but I thought I'd ask.
My deal breaker would be with Tap-to-Pay. Will this work with Google Wallet's TTP?
Downloading now. Really hoping this one doesn't have the FC and random reboot issues like some of the others.

No Verizon phone will, due to the ongoing disagreement VZ has with the Google payment method. Don't expect ANY rom to come out with functioning tap-to-pay until Verizon works out their beef with Google. You can try some of the hacks people have posted for 4.3 roms, but I haven't seen anyone report that it worked on a 4.4 rom; make sure you use one of the older Wallet versions, because all newer versions for VZ devices have that functionality broken.

Also, does FB sync with the contacts?

Yes, other 4.3 roms got it to work, through using the hack and an older version of Wallet.... which I already said was the case. No one has successfully had T2P work with Wallet on a 4.4 rom on a VZ Samsung device yet... at least not that's being reported on xda. You will not find T2P working on a flashable rom until Verizon and Google settle their dispute; devs are not going to incorporate the hack because it works for some and not for others.
If you need T2P, try the 4.3 hack and report back to us if it worked... otherwise, stick with a hacked 4.3 rom if you need the functionality.

FYI... just flashed and didn't get a data connection. Tried the usual techniques to get it to work, but no dice. :/
On it an loving it. Great work. Only other thing I need on this ROM is RAM Usage Bar on Recents and a notification status bar toggles.

Data has been working well for me. Sometime it takes a few minutes to hook up but has always come on eventually. Check under status your IMEI and see if you didn't lose it.

Ahh good call. I believe my IMEI was there (I glanced really fast), but it might not have been. Does a firmware flash remedy that? I've never had that issue before.
No a firmware flash won't do it. Best to flash to a backup where it was there. Then make backup of the IMEI. There is a script I think on xda that will do it. I keep a copy of the back on my PC too just in case.

BUGS
--Camera is still not working.
--HDMI isn't working like usual
--Wireless tethering isn't an option
--I'm sure you guys will find the rest.
Screenies
Build 39
AOKP Changes
added ability to change host name (settings > dev > device hostname)
added ad-hoc network support
added adb over network
added AOKP stats (you can opt out, Settings > About > AOKP Statistics) www.stats.aokp.co
added bluewall firewall - RC > General UI > Less Notification Sounds
limits the number of notification sounds an app can play per X seconds
so like 1 GTalk ping/30s, but notifications will still be coming in
added "Device options" link in Settings for devices that have an app to tweak device-specific settings
right now I believe only tuna/aries/p1c have these, all credit goes to CM trees where these apps came from
improved weather code, shouldn't bother you everytime it updates weather now
added "copy to clipboard" option in "Share" dialogs throughout ANdroid
added ability to toggle to "new" and "original" music controls on the lockscreen
as always, tons of other device-specific and internal changes, find them all at http://gerrit.sudose...atus:merged,n,z
devices changes
p5: removed OTA assert, shouldn't be any more problems flashing
tuna: fixed vold.fstab file not being added properly, which led to MTP issues, core FCs
tuna: looks like the CM9 kernel was included with this build by mistake (due to the buildbot using inline kernels and some misc testing). It doesn't affect anything, just letting you guys know we know! Enjoy their code
added showcasemtd & mesmerizemtd
ville: YOU MUST WIPE!
misc other device changes -- ask your device maintainer
credit note: we try and preserve all proper authorship on git commits and the like, if you want to know who wrote a feature or where we got it from, check out git or gerrit and just browse through the commits!

Sorry, haven't read that thread yet. But awesome, this is my favorite ROM currently. ^_^
I can't wait till you guys get Camera working, then I'm gonna use this on my friend's Triumph as his DD (currently using Cm7 G60 style final ). I use AOKP on my GNex and it's the greatest ROM evar IMHO. A lot of those AOKP guys were from the Fascinate kangbang and pool party roms and they were my favorite prior's
Awesome, glad to see this being continued, really like this rom can't wait till I can use it as a daily rom, running cm7 g60 final.mobster tweaked, also a [email protected] rom thanks for the work y'all do

Right now it's one the list of things to fix but no ETA right now. rivs from AF (Android Forums) has been working on it.
Maybe its just me but do anybody else have to activate their phone after flashing AOKP Bulid 39? I flashed back to CM9 and I'm no need to I just though I'll point it out.

Personally haven't flashed it yet. I'll try reproducing it right now.
I've been messing with the nightlies a lot lately. So a few of them are bad (not everything working). Working on a stable build

Want to flash another Kernel, such as KT? Install/flash the attached zip in same session as your Kernel Flash
I interoperated fixes for the power button issue, not the revert that is currently being used by Kernel devs. The fixes I interoperated are not "officially" merged into CM, thats why Kernel devs dont have what it needs to light the display of Slim. I guess this is my bad for trying to be ahead of the game
Flashing the attached file in the same recovery session as your kernel flash will "light the display". This is tested with KT, not tested with LK...
look above for fixes ^

How's this vs cm10 nightlys? What doesn't work? Is there call echo. NFC support. Volume control on phone calls functional? Auto brightness work?

Based off AOSP with pulls from CM/AOKP. Post 2 has link for NFC patch so yeah. Make a back up, U no like, U restore. I have no echo, havent checked volume on calls. Im a set it and leave it user, also never use auto brightness so that I havent checked either. A general rule of thumb in early AOSP development, if its broke on one then it broke on them all. There are a $hit load of options in ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) and developer options. OP will be updated in due time, wanted to get this out for everyone to use

Somewhat, it has files/apps that are used across all supported devices. If you were to flash d2vzw and gapps instead of common you would be in a bootloop from Hell. You can flash another gapps set after common (recommend after you boot once), like inverted or something. but common is a must...
I am really excited about trying this ROM out. Are these steps correct?
1. Factory reset. Wipe cache. Wipe dalvik.
2. Flash d2vzw.zip
3. Flash common.
4. Flash Google now.
5. Flash charge ani and extras.
Boot up
Recovery again. Flash inverted gapps.
Reboot.
Sound right? Thanks

It really cracks me up that this rom is the lightest possible and weighs in at just over a half a gig. LOL.
That being said, this rom seems great so far, although it's only been a few hours. I actually picked up my phone a few weeks ago and immediately rooted it and threw Paranoid on it. Loved it, but it just wasn't ready yet...I had daily issues. Then, I was reading a thread by Morfic on his Trinity Kernel and wondered why it was for Touchwiz only. He said it just worked better and that CM based roms 'weren't ready'.
He was right. I switched to CleanROM and noticed it ran exceptional. I just throw HoloLauncher or Apex over it and it's close to AOSP, or at least close enough until they get the issues out.
Anyway, this rom is titties, IMO.
Thanks, Scott!

I think we just found your next roms tagline.
I just don't understand why CM is trying to support so many devices. Their roms are almost unuseable most of the time. Any ways not the place to discuss. I'm waiting for user reports before jumping on. Its always a pain to wipe everything and set up everything to my liking again.

This ROM is awesome so far! The only bug I have found is the Google search widget isn't working. Only the voice search part of it is working but when you click in the box to do a text search, nothing happens. Anyone else notice this?

TF101 Specific
Basic dock functionality works, but special keys and dock battery not currently (and may never be) supported
My goal was to get a working build of RootBox for my TF101, since I use it on my other devices. Now that the environment is up and running, I decided to make it available to others
I will attempt to build and publish the nightlies on a regular basis, but be aware that I don't necessarily flash all of them myself. Use at your own risk

Cool one of my favorite Roms. Now I just need to figure out how to set up a build environment and try to build LiquidSmooth and we would have a nice set of Roms. Last time I tried to get it set up it failed at the same place and no matter what I did I could not get everything loaded. Not that I have any experience doing such things.
So, thanks for a cool ROM.

YES!
Congrats & Welcome mate!
Thanks for porting Bajee's fine creation!
I already have RB in my beloved Note, now it's time to have it on my Transformer too!.... will flash and report as soon as I can... cheers! :highfive:
so....... to make it clear: the dock's special keys are not working and the dock's battery isn't working (not being recognized) too and never will?...... the dock's battery issue it's kind of a little drawback here, will give it a shot anyways...

Yes, unfortunately I was not able to get full support for the dock working. While it is not my intention to leave it broken, I cannot promise that I will ever figure it out.
My plan is to get the 4.3 builds working, once Bajee releases them, and then switch focus to fixing the dock. I hope to learn what I can from the other developers on this device, who were able to get the dock working in their ROMs, and apply it here.

I'm sure @timduru and @teameos can give you some valuable advice to get it working, they are some of the top notch devs here (and always very helpful members BTW) when it comes to the Transformer

v4.3 will be indeed a great build but once it has been well debugged by Bajee and it will take some time to achieve that for now, myself (and I'm sure many others) still prefer to have an v4.2.2 stable and perfected to have a good working base on the tf101, so my feeling is that v4.2 is the way to go hopefully fixing the dock battery :fingers-crossed: , BTW, does the GPS locks fine?...
Thanks for your commitment on this project @aerdman and to share it with all of us! :good:
I am trying this now. Welcome!

You didn't install gapps? You have to have gapps in order for everything to function properly.

Yea you're right, I'm getting this as well. I will make a note of this and investigate along with the dock support.
Camera relies on gallery (for stuff like photosphere)
Not surprised it isn't working without GAPPS.

New build uploading, anyone care to test it out for me?
A little update, I'm giving up on this. Way too many bugs and I can't keep up with them due to me not knowing how to fix and me being too busy with school and work. If anyone wants to port roms to this device i can pm you the guide i used. For now, I think I'll just delete the thread

Could be, this phone had to have had one of the longest runs as far as developing is concerned. Now with Sprint on the verge of doing away with WiMaX, I think it's a safe best that this phone will finally be laid to rest lol
If only they would build another bad arse device with a awesome keyboard. Of all the phones I ever owned this was by far my fav. Which is why I just bought a newish one. hopefully I can find valid links to make it the beast its was ment to be.!
I finally got my Epic out of retirement and flash with 4.4.4 and gapps 4.4.2. this combo has the best stab;e and speed, i tried the open-gapps 4.4.4 but i bogged the phone down alot.
btw anyone have a working link to SlimKAT 4.4.4 only one i have used thus far is CM 4.4.4 unofficial
