Spare battery charger - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

I need a spare battery solution. Samsungs own option is great but not for 50 bucks. I found this. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy it?

All I got to say is that i did get those kind of batteries from ebay, and they are definitely not the mAh they say they are. I bought them for the GS3 but they died way faster than the stock Samsung battery. My advise is pay up the price for some thing better, or know that these batteries will last a lot less than stock. I am actually looking for the ones from amazon. There is a review of 6 batteries in one of the threads that says there is a battery that last a bit longer than stock. That's what I'm buying.

I agree, I wouldn't trust to use any batteries with no brand and claim to have higher mAh capacity

So what are the specs of the ZeroLemon charger? I have one from ebay that says the output is plus or minus 350 mAh. It takes about 7 hours to charge a GS3 battery.

Here is a screenshot of one that essentially has the same specs. I've seen a couple floating around ebay that say 600 plus or minus 50mAh. I wish some one would create one that charged at the same rate of the phone.

I got the Samsung charging unit for my S4 from Amazon for $30 bucks and use either the charger cable it comes with or the 2amp charger that came with my phone. Worth every penny and goes from dead battery to fully charged in about and hour or slightly more. I have used them from my S1, S2, S3 and now S4 so I guess they just work perfectly for me

I see the link and according to reviews this could be a fake. But anyways, at what rate does it charge? How long does it take to fully charge the battery from 0 to 100? Are u using the stock 2Amp charger that comes with the S4 and does it make a difference in charging time?

If you get a fake I would expect to get a refund from amazon. It took 4 hours this morning to go from red light to Green (could have been less I was out running errands and came back to it green). Don't know what amp it uses, it has an ac adaptor it comes with.

Even four hours is not bad for going from 0% to 100%. I know with the stock charger the phone charges the battery in about two hours, with no usage.

Is it an external battery charger which charges a spare battery by itself, or are you talking abt having the battery in your phone and charging it?

External solar battery.

Hello, I just got an external battery with solar panels that is for desire HD. I bought it from eBay.
I noticed that the output volts are 5.5. I heard that the HD will only take 5v. is 5.5v to much and it will fry my phone or its safe?
Thanks

how fast is the reacharge? Is it faster?
powertraveller have universal solar chargers - max output is 300ma though doesn't charge fast at all. (if youre using the phone expect the battery % to go down still, just marginally slower than normal)
I dont think this could fry ur cell
I assume it safe with that much voltage.
Sorry for very late response lol. I forgot about the topic. I used it a bit and it's garbage. The solar panel need like 48 hours for full recharge. I guess that's what you get when you pay 15$ for it. Now I use normal recharger that I bought from China.

Battery charges super fast...Is this accurate??

I've noticed that the battery charges super fast.
This is either abnormal or it just is one of the good things about the G2X?
I've never had a battery charge up this fast, especially in a smart phone.
From my experience:
The slowest charging battery goes to: Samsung Galaxy phones...
The fastest so far is my G2X...
Interesting....any thoughts?
The charger is a very high voltage one. 1000mAh and the battery is 1500mAh.

You mean high current. Not be a douche but current and voltage definitely should not be confused with eachother because one is the amount of energy while the other is just the potential difference
Don't look at a label or sign and shrug it off because the voltage is low, its current that you should watch for, but I digress lol. Sorry for the totally off topic post but its the middle of the night and my mind isn't functioning properly.

Duracell rechargeable battery question???

Duracell rechargeable battery question???
Instant USB charger.
5 Volt/1150mAh rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.
0.6 AMP
Will this work for our phones???
They went on clearance on Black Friday and they still have a few left at my local store for $5.00 from the normal $19.99.
Thanks in advanced.
Works just fine, I've been using the same one for about a year now (on my mt4g and now g2x)
Is 1150mAh worth it to lug around? Probably better just to carry an extra battery around or get the extended batteries.

i don't see no reason it wouldn't work i read about it
It works great on a Samsung Galaxy S 4G to bad it only charges from completely dead to 75% to 80. Not bad for emergency.

But you would need a power source, the mat can't just obtain electricity out of thin air. The closest we may get to a truly wireless charger is a solar powered one...

Yeah but you could just make a power bank, that had the ability to use inductive charging, for example, the official Google wireless charger for the Nexus 4,imagine if there was a battery inside that semisphere, so it's a power bank, you charge it at home and take it to wherever you want, when u put your phone on top, it starts charging, it's not getting the electricity out of nowhere, it's getting it from the internal battery inside the semisphere that u charged at home, the same way u could build a mat that does this, batteries are like 0.5 millimeters thick, so you could make a mat that is 1cm thick and u charge it at home, then u take it with you and u charge your phone putting it on top of it... Any of those would be awesome

Onite Battery Review

First off I would like to give a big thanks to James for allowing me to be a beta tester for his batteries, and accessories. Received this stock replacement with Nfc, about 5-6 days ago and have been using it since,.. great battery! And if your looking for something to replace your factory battery or just a spare, you can't beat it,..especially for what they sell for! I consider myself a pretty heavy phone user, of course don't go crazy and put the brightness all the way up or anything, but texting, phone calls, YouTube, Netflix, web browsing, I do a very good bit of it. I'll get right down to it and post my battery screen shots with the Onite,.. More reviews coming soon including an Onite extended with Nfc. Thanks again James,..this is a great battery guys! Btw phone is unrooted, completely stock

But I don't think it is related with the wireless charging.
Maybe you need a Wireless Charger Receiver Pad if you lay it on a charging back.

OP, do you need a separate charger for the nfc onite battery or can I charge it while its in my phone? I've had past experiences with aftermarket batteries only being able to be charged with that company's charger and was disappointed when that battery was drained.
