Just a min will fix it!!

Giving this a go
FYI Dev, the changelog link is down

Loving this but DPI groups is giving me a FC

Does the lockscreen clock seem extra large to anyone else?
Also there is a small line below the status bar and between whatever app I am in. I've seen this before when I was adjusting DPI stuff on prior ROMS. This happened out of the box today.

What I am talking about

Runs great, but can't figure out why the settings menu is locked in at 245dpi (stock slim) when
is listed as 320. Could not get it to change.
Other than that it's a really nice build. Good work!

[ROM] AOKP 4.2.2 (Android Open Kang Project) (CDMA&GSM)

Howdy folks!
I have ported AOKP to the Photon Q. There are a lot of features which have been lifted from AOKP and placed into Carbon, so I thought why not build AOKP... Please visit their official website for additional screenshots, information, etc.

Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
Flash ROM
Flash Google Apps (GAPPS)
Reboot

I am building from source, again this is using the razrqcom-dev-team trees as a base. Big thanks goes out to those folks, they have been extremely helpful.
Time to be lazy and copy from my other thread... CM10.1 issues will probably be present in here, etc.
Enjoy!

BUGS
Intermittent USB issues (charging, adb, etc) - seems to be caused by charging via AC. Rebooting it resolves it in the short term, working on a permanent fix.
Some (not all) seem to experience issues with GPS. If you have issues with GPS, please RSD the JB image and then flash AOKP. GPS should work now. (I've also heard you can just restore a stock backup, get a lock, then flash AOKP again...)
Haptic feedback on soft keyboard is not provided when enabled (which it is by default)
While capturing a picture to send via MMS, ensure HDR is deselected - Gallery will cause a force close if HDR is enabled!! (Note - HDR works for normal still photos, just not MMS.)
Update Google Search (manual update), or else any voice searches will fail with FC. Update the app, and it is resolved.
Caps lock LED doesn't seem to work properly...

Alrighty folks, I am uploading the initial build now. I know NFC is broken, I had to disable it.
Geez, someone's busy!
Thanks for all the hard work. Having come from a phone where development is slow at the best of times, it's nice to see and have options.
Now we can be proud using Photon Q. It's not a small community anymore.
Thanks a lot!

Wow, way to go!!
I was noticing a lot of other ROM's were lifting features from AOKP... like Carbon .
So I figured why not have AOKP?
Still a bit of cleanup to be done - I discovered the keyboard is always on when the screen is on? Regardless of it being slid out or not. Probably need to add some of the same patches which needed to go to Carbon.
Also as I mentioned NFC. Should be easy to enable tho. Let me know what else you find folks!
Thanks for this. Does anyone know if this includes the pop up text messages like on miui?

If you mean popup of message in a toast notification then I do not know. If you mean quick message popup like this then it is a feature added in CM10 which can be enabled (in CM10/10.1) under messaging settings - Quick reply
Maybe a blinking message icon at status bar. It's an extra feature on AOKP and Liquid Smooth ROM.

I was actually looking for the pop up they mention in the article but the notification reply option is maybe even better . Based on the change log it looks like charging from ac is still an issue, any idea on when this might be worked out?

Charging from AC is not an issue at all. It charges perfectly fine from AC.
I love this rom! I just wish I could set lockscreen background.
A few questions though; What does the 'dual panel' option do?
What is menu UI overflow?
What is daydreaming?
I hope to see updates soon, especially to fix the camera/camcorder. It's a deal breaker for me right now, since my first son was just born and I'll be heavily using my camera.
@lovehatelegend. For the verify popup. Go to settings then security and there u can uncheck the popup asking u everytime

DESCRIPTION
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Ok, I love this rom...., awesome job! One issue I'm having that I've never seen before is with my one more clock widget chrome rings theme - there are no rings! What on earth would be the cause of this? I've tried uninstalling, readding widget, nothing worked.
Oh, and no system sounds work. Cannot hear any sound adjustments, ringtone/notification previews, touch sounds, etc. Nothing.

If you have a Bluetooth headset hooked up, go into the device settings and remove the check mark from "media audio". If that's not the case then it might be something with the install.

A simple reboot fixed it... But thanks
I got my issues resolved, had to delete my custom omc widget and make a new one, weird. Audio issue happens when rebooting back from an exposed install, a simple reboot fixes it. The built in mms only works with OSE theme enabled, if not enabled the text is white on white. I just replaced it with one from carbon. Getting a fc when trying to change custom lockscreen target icons to system ones, and the center target when changed is off center (this is my only real issue!).
Other than that this is preforming beautifully. Smooth, battery life is great. Nice!

Does seem to run hot with the over voltage. Running a bench test causes a freq reduction to 1728. Had some crashes also. switched to Furnace 1.6.1 kernel. Temp was better, no crashes, freq was stable at 2496.

Just flashed about 3 hours now. Everything is running fantastic, not one problem yet. Everything is super fast too. Can you use ART with this build?
Also: anyone know a good minimalistic gapps that's blacked out?

I think Google Drive was having issues, I am working on setting up some space on my own server.
Okay question, I want to use halo and pie. But when you expand the desktop it goes into full screen. The navigate and notifications bar come back with swiping down. Anyway to stop this or a different way to go about it?

I think that's the only way to do it. Just so you know Halo is going away in the up coming builds.

Google Maps Connection Issues
I just flashed this ROM and installed latest gapps for this specific Kit Kat build. Everything ran fine except when I went to test google maps, it could not get into the assisted voice guided mode. It just gives me the big red exclamation ! "Can't connect" Try again just before it is supposed to load up voice guidance. I modified my gps.config appropriately, still same problem.
Is there a fix?

Do you have a Text to Speech application installed? I personally use Google's from the Play Store as I flash a Core GApps. Which GApps did you use? Paranoid, BaNkS, ect?
Thanks!
Not sure what happened or if it's bc I changed kernels. But my volume won't work with headphones. It play max volume no matter what. I'm at the gym now and its blowing my ears up haha.
