[ROM][4.4.2][Official] NamelessROM [Nightlies]
What is NamelessROM?
What is NamelessROM ?
Simple - NamelessROM is opportunity.
An opportunity to have a voice to the development team of the after-market firmware that you run on your device.
The main goal of NamelessROM is to provide quality development for android devices, phones and tablets alike.
NamelessROM developers are available nearly 24/7 and respond to bug reports and feature requests almost instantly.
This availability will allow you, the end-user, to have direct input into exactly what features and functions are included on the firmware that YOU run.
NamelessROM maintains features and functions of several well-known open-source, AOSP-based ROMs, as well as many features of our own.
NamelessROM = endless possibilities. Unless you have an iPhone, then you're out of luck.

DESCRIPTION
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Wow, all these new ROM choices. The biggest thing I want though is one that the camera isn't broke in one form or another. Like currently on Slim it breaks switching from video to camera, or other ROMs, FFC is broke. I use my phone camera a LOT. That's the biggest feature for me. Had anyone flashed this and verified every scenario for camera works? Thanks. This ROM sounds pretty slick.

worked and then glitched out saying "camera can't connect" ... otherwise this rom is pretty nice for its first release. has the kill app feature!
About to check it out, thanks for contributing!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Yea, switching to video then back to camera locks it up. Then says it can't connect. I'm guessing the only way to get it back is a reboot....?

I don't what to sound like I'm just complaining so I do want to add though that I love this ROM so far. Seems very smooth and I love the built in lockscreen notifications.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Although the camera works just as fine on AOSP than on a TW rom, when switching from video to picture and vice versa it can cause it to lock up and not connect.
NOT A ROM ISSUE.
I might just carry an actual camera with me and that would solve all my camera issues. Lol
One bug I noticed is that I have turned on the network speed indicator but it won't show up. I've tried turning it off and on again but nothing comes up.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
How do you enable the screen recording function?
1/30 build is running great for me so far! Though I am not a big camera user!
We'll see how battery life goes, so far my battery life has been terrible on all of the KK roms so far.
replace mms
so far i am loving this rom. i however do not like the default aosp mms app. i was using a themed one on my last rom (which was old&slows stock 4.3 touchwiz rom) and found some 4.4 themed aosp replacements. i can't get them to stick though after a reboot. i noticed that there is no mms.apk file in the system/app folder and that messaging refers to com.android.mms file. i need to know how i can change the default aosp messaging file with a themed one and make it stick through a reboot. also if anyone knows of a mod that works with this rom to change clock and icon colors in the notification bar that would be awesome too.
edit: Found a way to make the themed mms app work. had to rename the mms_signed.apk and mms.apk in system/priv-app folder and then flashed one of the themed files from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2519733
ended up working great. still looking for the way to change the clock and icon colors though.
At first I was confused as how to enable multi window but then I figured out that you can't have halo enabled at the same time.
This ROM is running fantastic for me. No issues whatsoever. At least on my phone its behaving how it should, and that is great. ?
Anyone else having issue with downloading apps from the play store?

The only Rom where i never have to use Xblast or Gravity to make it fit my needs!
BTW: Gummy was my very first Android Custom i've flashed some days ago on my old RazR and it's always an pleasure to come back to Kejar / Apascual89 's (and supporters) work, so keep it up.
I uploaded an flashable Zip from your latest CWM (v 6.0.4.8) Touch Recovery, so it's easy to share it. Please let me know if i should remove the Link

Sweet. This was one of my favorite ROMs on the Samsung S2 Skyrocket. Always stable, fast, and smooth. Hoping for the same out of this. Cheers!

Unfortunately man, it's either Mega.nz or Mediafire. Pick your poison. Not to criticize you, but everytime I upload a ROM on Mega, people say they can't download it. Then when I switch to Mediafire, people who were fine on Mega are mad because it doesn't work on Mediafire. Could you please try using a different browser or device to download the file? According to my account, 22 people have downloaded the file successfully.

It's CM based.
Added Mega downloads folder.
First of all, the ROM is very good and smooth but when i play subway surfers game , it lags ,i didn't experience any lags on previous roms.
Is there any solution for that?

There could be some kernel settings that are slowing it down. Open the Kernel Adiutor app, and change some settings with the CPU governor, IO scheduler, and CPU Hotplug. This kernel has lots of options to change so just look at some stuff here on XDA that deals with those. I suspect the CPU Hotplug is slowing you down from maybe too much heat, but I don't know that. Also, did you do a clean flash?
just curious if anyone is having play service errors when location is set to anything besides device only? this could possibly be just me as I am using this ROM on a d851 tmo phone, I had too, I mean its carbon right =) thnx dev for the cook.

No, you're not the only one. I've had to halt development of this ROM until Carbon can get some severe bugs fixed concerning the ROM's frameworks which are affecting GS.
thanks for the reply, shame you had to stop, carbon always been a great ROM, hope they work it out. had a couple other bugs, but, i wont go into it, I will just keep an eye over this way, see how things go. thanks again

Yup I'm also having that problem when I turn on the GPS. I'm running it on d850. Already fixed permissions and nothing.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

First impressions are really good, love the features and available modifications! cLock-s yahoo weather is still broken. I cant find a way to use enlarged mobile neteork icons like 4g or 3g or E and so on, or maybe I cant find it.
And the last, still no yellow notification led
I like the selfie flash in camera, but I think it should set the max brightness to max when white screen.

cLock yahoo api is a known problem now, CM fixed this on CM13 as now they have a Weather Section in settings where you can download your own api from PlayStore and setup it.
Enlarged icons are a MTK thing, so not in CM/Aosp.
@cyberdejy came from a SoftReboot? Generally sdcard disappear after a soft reboot, but a full one fix it.
