DESCRIPTION
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Requesting a ROM doesn't mean someone will build it. This is a three, bordering on four year old device not to mention developers don't have much time to maintain it; I work during the nights as I don't have time during the day. Other developers only get an hour or two free, and they've got girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives, children and friends that have to come first.
I know it's not the answer you wanted but you may want to give ROM building a try if you really want a ROM that specific. It's a great learning curve.

If there's enough interest, I could whip up a quick build over the weekend. However I'd only be able to update it on weekends as I'm busy working on weekdays.

One for me
Always follow the OP through and through.
If things are acting weird, or you have things going on and don't see too many people reporting it.
Redownload rom and gapps
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe dalvik and cache
Format System (upon flashing rom it will do this automatically)
Then flash rom and gapps then reboot system. (boot the rom and then go back and flash your kernel of choice, if that's what you choose to do).
Also if having issues, boot into safe mode and see if issues still persist. Boot into safe mode by hold power button and long press on reboot. This will boot you into no 3rd party apps mode, basically. To get out of it, just reboot normally
To enable Developer Options, go to; settings|about phone|tap build number 7/8 times
to enable reboot options,(recovery, download) enable advanced reboot in Developer options
Dual Panel mode will cause some weirdness in settings. Turn them of to set everything up and forget about it after.
All the tabletui settings work but nav colors reset after reboot
If you have the "tick" while playing music then disable "Screen lock sound" & "Touch sounds". Temporary work around for now
No PhotosPhere in this rom still...might get added but depends on stability and CyanogenMod
You must flash Gapps everytime you install the rom as it wipes system every time. Use the gapps in the original post, if you use other Gapps keep those errors to your self and adress the person that made those Gapps.
Facebook acts up and is weird?? Stop using the app.
Update system apps before saying things are broken. (Google Now)
If you decide to run a 3rd party kernel, take your issues about; speed, battery, and reboots to that thread, we cant change their kernel to make it better for you, they can. Thanks.
You will not have a 4g icon, it is an H+ when data is being retreived, when idle it is a 3g icon.
This is a work in progress, I'll update it as needed
FAQ PART
What base is this?
It is based off SlimRoms, with a lot of changes... It is it's own rom now
Which MMS app is built in?
A custom one, it has Themeable MMS and Popup. look in screenshots for my goofy face and pictures.
How to activate pie control?
settings>piecontrols>activate toggle. The trigger is at the bottom, slide your finger up slowly, and it will come up.
Where are the Touchwiz features?
In a Touchwiz rom.
How do I take a screenshot?
Volume down & power, OR... settings>powermenu>enable the screenshot.
Does this rom have Tablet mode and such things?
No, and there are no plans for adding it as of now.

I think it was more of a kernel driver issue, you can flash any of the new custom kernels and be fine I believe. But I'm only right 75% of the time 100% of the time.
Edit
In the change log it says it should be updated to the Q build.

Might be a easy fix but can't seem to find it.
Playing games or doing anything for that matter taping my screen zooms in causing confusion any way to disable it? Thought it was my kernel since I've never noticed this b4.
Pic below you have too tap like 4 or 5 times fast then it happens .
As you can see nothing happens to my keyboard I just want that feature off lol

I would first like to say tht this is custom firmwre, your warranty is now void, also please do not blame me if ur phone dies, makes u late for work, or pocket dials ur significant other while ur with ur other significant other... You are fully aware of what can happen by flashing ur device so, make sure u are one either CWMv6.0.3.6 or TWRPv2.6.1.0+, now enough said let's do it...
1) Download ROM and place in ROOT of storage where u have access...
2) Full wipe is required, data, system, dalvik cache, and cache 3x each (3x is a persomal preference), if u want to dirty flash updates please do not complain to me about issues as i have stated the obvious about flashing gapps over gapps...
3) Flash ROM, DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, gapps are included in build and will cause severe lag/RR/FC's if flashed on top
4) Reboot ROM and let sit 5-10 min BEFORE setting up, as to let things settle (not letting her settle will cause issues and laggyness)
5) Now that she's sat for a min, set ROM up and follow with 1 more reboot, or reboot and then setup..(I always setup then reboot)
6) ENJOY PRO-bam ROM, this thing is fun, so many options and settings, how can u not love it???
DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, THEY ARE INCLUDED IN BUILDProBam v4.5 Android Version 4.3.1 Skyrocket

Great ROM.Really enjoying this.

Is the email app fixed in this? When I was using PAC, some apps would open in Tablet mode and the email app was messed up when you opened it up to set it up. I did make sure Phone mode was selected and the DPI was the stock 240, but it didn't work. Thanks.
Sweet rom. Thanks Kiltnar .
SGH-I727 Peace
Just install this but the screen is very nonresponsive. Anyone else experienced this problem?

That was the fix for it when it was in the testing phase. It should be the fix. I think other ROMs that enables PIE may have that inherent problem

That is all I did here to when I was setting it up. I couldn't press the bottom of the screen from the homescreen. Pie kept popping up. I went into settings to turn it off and it was already off so I turned it on then back off. It worked for me. Everything works great now.

No not a bad download. That's just the way it is. Small price to pay for an excellent ROM. Keep an eye on this @Kiltnar fella. He's going places.
Sent from my skyrocket running something better than yours! BOOM!
Yep. The default is on even when it says off. For easier setup try adding a little bit of down swiping when pressing the lower keyboard. This was the easiest way to get thru setup for me. As always YMMV. Your mileage may vary.

Lol, That happens. XD. I hope you guys enjoy this one. This is compiled with Linaro. It's been super solid for me the last couple of days. If it starts lagging or anything a quick reboot fixed this, also if the home screen doesn't display your apps just hit the icon for the app drawer, they're there just not drawn. Seems to happen after a intensive app has been running, or leaving an app open for a long time while the phone is asleep.
Hope you guys enjoy, remember to rate the thread.
Have fun!

A very Nice ROM. I have been rocking it with android 4.4 aka Kitkat launcher. Solid.
don't know if it's in the ROM or not, but I can't find CM/Power toggles.

Awesome ROM. Thanks so much for this.
Was using CM 10.2 but I missed the features of PA and AOKP. Nothing against PAC or its devs but it just didn't feel that solid to me.
This ROM is great. Please don't abandon and I look forward to all future updates
Great job!
Any ideas if the locked screen notification works? If so, how can we enable it?

Wow, all these new ROM choices. The biggest thing I want though is one that the camera isn't broke in one form or another. Like currently on Slim it breaks switching from video to camera, or other ROMs, FFC is broke. I use my phone camera a LOT. That's the biggest feature for me. Had anyone flashed this and verified every scenario for camera works? Thanks. This ROM sounds pretty slick.

worked and then glitched out saying "camera can't connect" ... otherwise this rom is pretty nice for its first release. has the kill app feature!
About to check it out, thanks for contributing!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Yea, switching to video then back to camera locks it up. Then says it can't connect. I'm guessing the only way to get it back is a reboot....?

I don't what to sound like I'm just complaining so I do want to add though that I love this ROM so far. Seems very smooth and I love the built in lockscreen notifications.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Although the camera works just as fine on AOSP than on a TW rom, when switching from video to picture and vice versa it can cause it to lock up and not connect.
NOT A ROM ISSUE.
I might just carry an actual camera with me and that would solve all my camera issues. Lol
One bug I noticed is that I have turned on the network speed indicator but it won't show up. I've tried turning it off and on again but nothing comes up.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
How do you enable the screen recording function?
1/30 build is running great for me so far! Though I am not a big camera user!
We'll see how battery life goes, so far my battery life has been terrible on all of the KK roms so far.
replace mms
so far i am loving this rom. i however do not like the default aosp mms app. i was using a themed one on my last rom (which was old&slows stock 4.3 touchwiz rom) and found some 4.4 themed aosp replacements. i can't get them to stick though after a reboot. i noticed that there is no mms.apk file in the system/app folder and that messaging refers to com.android.mms file. i need to know how i can change the default aosp messaging file with a themed one and make it stick through a reboot. also if anyone knows of a mod that works with this rom to change clock and icon colors in the notification bar that would be awesome too.
edit: Found a way to make the themed mms app work. had to rename the mms_signed.apk and mms.apk in system/priv-app folder and then flashed one of the themed files from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2519733
ended up working great. still looking for the way to change the clock and icon colors though.
At first I was confused as how to enable multi window but then I figured out that you can't have halo enabled at the same time.
This ROM is running fantastic for me. No issues whatsoever. At least on my phone its behaving how it should, and that is great. ?
Anyone else having issue with downloading apps from the play store?

I do not have this device so I have not tested this build, there is a chance that you will get sent to fastboot, if you are not comfortable getting into recovery manually please do not try this until someone has been able to confirm. If it does not boot, I have a way to fix the build.
Please download a kernel just in case, this will allow you to boot. If this happens please let me know and I will fix it and re-upload.
Thanks!

Failed to flash on TWRP 2.6.3.3
I didn't try any other recovery as this one is the most stable.
I hope this works. I've missed this rom.
I am way to chicken to be first, but I am geeked to get this ROM going, still running liquidsmooth on my Galaxy SkyRocket and Nexus7.

That it fails to flash. I restored back to stock so I don't remember the exact response, but it said error flashing due to it being the wrong version. (had this error once when I accidently flashed a Rom for the international g2 instead of the d800.)
Is everyone having issues with this not booting? If so I have a pretty simple/fast fix we can test.

I haven't had anyone able to test with me so I'm not sure exactly. I have things I can do to fix it but I need someone to test, I have the Verizon version. I figured most of you guys and gals would be messing with Stock KitKat, if you can't tell I'm jealous.

I think everyone is a little gun shy after a few scary moments of boot looping and recovery issues with G2. It seems like either D800 flashes good or you end up searching xda for help on getting back to stock. Or worse, you end up in adb land. I know I'm cautious after the first OTA sneaked through without permission and almost ruined my phone, thankfully I had TWRP, figured out adb, and there were some bad ass devs who saved the day. I am definitely not taking any risk.

G2 is beast of a phone, and Liquidsmooth "will eventually" be a hell of ROM for the G2, just not yet. Keep an eye on rooting and recoveries for the newer firmwares though, those not quite cracked yet.

I love my G2, it is hands down the fastest phone I have used and the battery on it is amazing, I don't have to worry about it if I miss skipping it at night. If you can stand to wait, HTC is going to be announcing the new One next month, might be interesting to see what they have.
Don't get me wrong, the G2 is awesome and I hope LG fixes some of the issues I have with it when they release the G3.
No, I have not forgotten about you all, I was waiting for a feature to be released so I could make a new build, I am building now, if all goes well I should have dr87 and Furnace versions of LS for you all later today/tomorrow morning. See below for the included updates/changes!
**3/4**
Liquid Updates:
Slim's Recents
Fixes for native screen recorder
More multi-core boot optimization
Possible fix for poor speaker quality
Bump in speaker volume
Reduce volume in call
Add more steps for in-call volume
Edit: I have a Hangout that I am using if you would like instant access to stuff or to me, just add me on G+ or send me a message and I will add you. Just click my name and it has my G+ info. If you would like to test builds for me, let me know and there is a separate group for that.
OP is updated! There are downloads for dr87 and Furnace Kernels.
