Howdy folks!
I have ported AOKP to the Photon Q. There are a lot of features which have been lifted from AOKP and placed into Carbon, so I thought why not build AOKP... Please visit their official website for additional screenshots, information, etc.

I am building from source, again this is using the razrqcom-dev-team trees as a base. Big thanks goes out to those folks, they have been extremely helpful.
Time to be lazy and copy from my other thread... CM10.1 issues will probably be present in here, etc.
Enjoy!

BUGS
Intermittent USB issues (charging, adb, etc) - seems to be caused by charging via AC. Rebooting it resolves it in the short term, working on a permanent fix.
Some (not all) seem to experience issues with GPS. If you have issues with GPS, please RSD the JB image and then flash AOKP. GPS should work now. (I've also heard you can just restore a stock backup, get a lock, then flash AOKP again...)
Haptic feedback on soft keyboard is not provided when enabled (which it is by default)
While capturing a picture to send via MMS, ensure HDR is deselected - Gallery will cause a force close if HDR is enabled!! (Note - HDR works for normal still photos, just not MMS.)
Update Google Search (manual update), or else any voice searches will fail with FC. Update the app, and it is resolved.
Caps lock LED doesn't seem to work properly...

Alrighty folks, I am uploading the initial build now. I know NFC is broken, I had to disable it.
Geez, someone's busy!
Thanks for all the hard work. Having come from a phone where development is slow at the best of times, it's nice to see and have options.
Now we can be proud using Photon Q. It's not a small community anymore.
Thanks a lot!

Wow, way to go!!
I was noticing a lot of other ROM's were lifting features from AOKP... like Carbon .
So I figured why not have AOKP?
Still a bit of cleanup to be done - I discovered the keyboard is always on when the screen is on? Regardless of it being slid out or not. Probably need to add some of the same patches which needed to go to Carbon.
Also as I mentioned NFC. Should be easy to enable tho. Let me know what else you find folks!
Thanks for this. Does anyone know if this includes the pop up text messages like on miui?

I do not, unfortunately. Is this a "normal" feature in AOKP?
I don't think so I was just curious.

If you mean popup of message in a toast notification then I do not know. If you mean quick message popup like this then it is a feature added in CM10 which can be enabled (in CM10/10.1) under messaging settings - Quick reply
Maybe a blinking message icon at status bar. It's an extra feature on AOKP and Liquid Smooth ROM.

I was actually looking for the pop up they mention in the article but the notification reply option is maybe even better . Based on the change log it looks like charging from ac is still an issue, any idea on when this might be worked out?

Charging from AC is not an issue at all. It charges perfectly fine from AC.
I love this rom! I just wish I could set lockscreen background.
A few questions though; What does the 'dual panel' option do?
What is menu UI overflow?
What is daydreaming?
I hope to see updates soon, especially to fix the camera/camcorder. It's a deal breaker for me right now, since my first son was just born and I'll be heavily using my camera.
@lovehatelegend. For the verify popup. Go to settings then security and there u can uncheck the popup asking u everytime

No I used the gapps provided by preludedrew. I'll flash the gapps in OP and see if thqt changes anything. Like I said, its no rush at this point, although the dictionary is one of if not mu biggest "gripe".
Just flashed. GAPPS in the post updates the market for me. Also says Virgin mobile. MMS works for me. Great job. I have been waiting for CM9, and am excited to give this a test drive.
Amazed at all of the ICS stuff as of late, really looking forward to when everything is as smooth as GB Keep up the good work guys!
Downloading now! I'm actually really excited to test this out.
I used aokp gapps. Market updated and mms is a go for me as well. Its not bad at all. Browser seems pretty quick. Minus the camera and 4g but its no biggie 4g is over rated anyway. Good job. Oh yeah and the dictionary is as first posted have to add almost every word. Would post a screenahot but it says wrong file exstention.

Yes, do do need to unlock the bootloader.
OK so I've been running RC7 for about 4 hours that I downloaded from IRC. Things I've noticed so far:
When using YouTube, I'm getting visual artifacts when changing orientation. It just happens during the orientation swap and then goes away. Also intermittent screen issues when starting you tube that I've seen twice now. Portions of the screen were repeating themselves.
Only one time, I was swiping through settings and when I hit the bottom of the list, there was a weird and quick visual artifact.
I'm not getting any sort of general screen flicker that I've experienced with other Roms, but I went ahead and shut off Hardware Overlay just for the hell of it. Which hasn't changed anything with YouTube artifacting during orientation changed.
During phone call, I could not adjust call volume. Call volume was not loud or low, but just right despite the fact i could not adjust it. Speakerphone worked OK and I was able to lower volume during sleakerphone it seems.
GPS locked on pretty quickly.
4G and WiFi work great.
Camera and Video work. No problems with low Audio on Video record.
I'm really quite happy with it and see no reason not to use this as my Daily Driver.
I don't care about Bluetooth or NFC so can't speak to those.
Battery drain seems to be quite normal.
Hey, I've been using Synergy for the whole time I've had my S3. Can anybody compare RC5 or 7's battery life to that of Synergy's? I'm guessing it will be somewhat lower
yeah! been looking for a new jellybean rom to try out........TW is nice n whatnot, but aosp is just as nice in its own respects......gonna toss this bad boy on later and test it out, seeing as i'm going to work tomorrow ill be able to test out the NFC at mcdonalds and see how its working

Does anyone know if this would be built-into the ROM or part of Google Apps?
MD5's match for the ROM and the G-apps.
I havn't slept in over 24 hours....am I just being braindead here?
This is my first build ever. I appreciate your patience and help. :victory:

TFQ is proud to present Paranoid Android for the SGS4G
First thank you goes to CM & ParanoidAndroid
From the Paranoid Android Homepage
"To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even system components individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone."

The screenies are from a previous unreleased build. The dpi in this release is more consistent with er1kmm's paaranoidANDROID-1.6a-UNOFFICIAL. To change dpi for individual apps go to settings > Paranoid Settings > apps.

Excellent point. This thread was created less that two hours after the linked build finished so I hadn't taken current screenshots. I'll change them as soon as I can.

Re: [ROM][4.1.2]Paranoid Android - SGS4G [v2.99][ALPHA]
ParanoidAndroid has been jacking with their source which has had me going crazy for weeks. I'll keep y'all up to date as best I can.
Sent from a hole in the time/space continuum.
I would really hope the better changes PA is making to their code is because of the new features I saw on the Nexus 4 PA! Such as the Pie and PA Colors! Plus hoping eventually for fixes to some of the bugs...especially the 4g and wifi!
Also wondering how hard is it to port ROMs from the SGS Vibrant to the SGS4G? There is already an awesome group of developers working topoetthe new Nexus 4 PA ROM to the Vibrant and SGS2! Would love to see those features!!!

Due to a myriad of issues with PA (changes, server problems which may lead to them changing servers, etc.) I haven't been able to successfully sync the source repository. Without the source I can't make any changes. PIE became open source only yesterday. Please use the Q&A for this project to post questions regarding it. Other questions in their appropriate place. Thank you.

Update Rumor
I was finally able to get the source to download Monday and eventually got it to build yet it doesn't quite work yet since it's 4.2.1  so this will probably need to be put on hold until the 4.2.1 kernel is closer to stable.
Thread Owner Change
I am turning this thread over to my teammate thomas.raines. He has the 4.1.2 source which is no longer available on GitHub. I appreciate everyone's patience with me in the lack of support I have been able to provide for this ROM. Thomas will do an excellent job.

No, this is 4.2.2 based.

I've been having problems with cm10.1 and hoping this rom (if not based on cm10.1) might work for me.
thanks Rohan.

Well all of device and some frameworks commits come from CM-10.1, but its not all, so i'd say give it a whirl and see what happens.
what problems were you having with CM specifically?

weird stuff like can't titanium restore/backup flaky. not seeing all my music (10GB) unless I reduced it (tried it once and phone can see 1GB worth of music). flickering screen when my wifi/3g turns grey. it's depressing since no problems like these on sense-based 3.17.x
I'll try it out. thanks! /me crosses fingers

very weird, yeah, try this out and let me know how it runs
and ofc there aren't any issues on stock Sense ROMs... if youre a Sense dev and have bugs on Sense ROMs, you're doing it wrong
By the way... this also includes something called Xposed which is like PA's Per App DPI settings. The Xposed stuff is located under Interface in Settings, try it out its pretty nice
Literally just got the shivers...you're the man Rohan...downloading and flashing..........NOW!

You'd be surprised...when the stock sense 3.17 rom is de-odexed, it breaks alot of things, and devs still haven't fixed them, even now. Or at least, the people de-odexing it don't know what they're doing.
Cool looking rom, going to try it out this evening. Thanks for your hard work!
Had to flash just because it's another Rohan project.

the only hardware key i can get working is the back button. and the home as well as recent app hardware key do nothing even after telling them what they should do. also when i pull down the status bar i cant even click the far right icon to bring up all the little tiles..
wow! looks freaking amazing. good job devs!
are there any huge issues so far in this rom?
is there a way to get it to tablet/phablet mode? am i not seeing it in there?

Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
