So...when exactly do you sleep, rohan?

Awesome! Thanks for this release, cant wait to check it out. Always honored to have something on my phone by rohan. Thanks again for all your hard work and time.

No, this is 4.2.2 based.

Installing now. Should I expect the NFC card emulation to work or is that just a leftover copy and paste from the GS3 thread?

sorry. I made a mistake. I actually meant cm10.1-based?
I've been having problems with cm10.1 and hoping this rom (if not based on cm10.1) might work for me.
thanks Rohan.

Well all of device and some frameworks commits come from CM-10.1, but its not all, so i'd say give it a whirl and see what happens.
what problems were you having with CM specifically?

weird stuff like can't titanium restore/backup flaky. not seeing all my music (10GB) unless I reduced it (tried it once and phone can see 1GB worth of music). flickering screen when my wifi/3g turns grey. it's depressing since no problems like these on sense-based 3.17.x
I'll try it out. thanks! /me crosses fingers

very weird, yeah, try this out and let me know how it runs
and ofc there aren't any issues on stock Sense ROMs... if youre a Sense dev and have bugs on Sense ROMs, you're doing it wrong

By the way... this also includes something called Xposed which is like PA's Per App DPI settings. The Xposed stuff is located under Interface in Settings, try it out its pretty nice

Literally just got the shivers...you're the man Rohan...downloading and flashing..........NOW!

You'd be surprised...when the stock sense 3.17 rom is de-odexed, it breaks alot of things, and devs still haven't fixed them, even now. Or at least, the people de-odexing it don't know what they're doing.
Cool looking rom, going to try it out this evening. Thanks for your hard work!

Had to flash just because it's another Rohan project.

Rohan. You're the man.

the only hardware key i can get working is the back button. and the home as well as recent app hardware key do nothing even after telling them what they should do. also when i pull down the status bar i cant even click the far right icon to bring up all the little tiles..

wow! looks freaking amazing. good job devs!
are there any huge issues so far in this rom?

is there a way to get it to tablet/phablet mode? am i not seeing it in there?

What is Revolution?
Revolution is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP/AOKP. We took all the cool features from AOKP and added a few more (badass) features of our own. Our goal is to provide Revolution users with fast, stable, and liquid smooth builds. The devs along with the testers of Revolution rom do our best to test the builds before releasing to them to the public, but there is always a possibility that we could overlook something. With that being said, we leave it up to you guys to provide a change log when reporting bugs and not clutter this thread with the same problems. Let's start a Revolution my friends

[ROM] AOKP 4.2.2 (Android Open Kang Project) (CDMA&GSM)

Howdy folks!
I have ported AOKP to the Photon Q. There are a lot of features which have been lifted from AOKP and placed into Carbon, so I thought why not build AOKP... Please visit their official website for additional screenshots, information, etc.

I am building from source, again this is using the razrqcom-dev-team trees as a base. Big thanks goes out to those folks, they have been extremely helpful.
Time to be lazy and copy from my other thread... CM10.1 issues will probably be present in here, etc.
Enjoy!

BUGS
Intermittent USB issues (charging, adb, etc) - seems to be caused by charging via AC. Rebooting it resolves it in the short term, working on a permanent fix.
Some (not all) seem to experience issues with GPS. If you have issues with GPS, please RSD the JB image and then flash AOKP. GPS should work now. (I've also heard you can just restore a stock backup, get a lock, then flash AOKP again...)
Haptic feedback on soft keyboard is not provided when enabled (which it is by default)
While capturing a picture to send via MMS, ensure HDR is deselected - Gallery will cause a force close if HDR is enabled!! (Note - HDR works for normal still photos, just not MMS.)
Update Google Search (manual update), or else any voice searches will fail with FC. Update the app, and it is resolved.
Caps lock LED doesn't seem to work properly...

Alrighty folks, I am uploading the initial build now. I know NFC is broken, I had to disable it.
Geez, someone's busy!
Thanks for all the hard work. Having come from a phone where development is slow at the best of times, it's nice to see and have options.
Now we can be proud using Photon Q. It's not a small community anymore.
Thanks a lot!

Wow, way to go!!
I was noticing a lot of other ROM's were lifting features from AOKP... like Carbon .
So I figured why not have AOKP?
Still a bit of cleanup to be done - I discovered the keyboard is always on when the screen is on? Regardless of it being slid out or not. Probably need to add some of the same patches which needed to go to Carbon.
Also as I mentioned NFC. Should be easy to enable tho. Let me know what else you find folks!
Thanks for this. Does anyone know if this includes the pop up text messages like on miui?

If you mean popup of message in a toast notification then I do not know. If you mean quick message popup like this then it is a feature added in CM10 which can be enabled (in CM10/10.1) under messaging settings - Quick reply
Maybe a blinking message icon at status bar. It's an extra feature on AOKP and Liquid Smooth ROM.

I was actually looking for the pop up they mention in the article but the notification reply option is maybe even better . Based on the change log it looks like charging from ac is still an issue, any idea on when this might be worked out?

Charging from AC is not an issue at all. It charges perfectly fine from AC.
I love this rom! I just wish I could set lockscreen background.
A few questions though; What does the 'dual panel' option do?
What is menu UI overflow?
What is daydreaming?
I hope to see updates soon, especially to fix the camera/camcorder. It's a deal breaker for me right now, since my first son was just born and I'll be heavily using my camera.
@lovehatelegend. For the verify popup. Go to settings then security and there u can uncheck the popup asking u everytime

For the time being Beantstalk proves to be good enough not to switch to another ROM. Are there any major improvements or things that are present in Liquid and not in Beanstalk? I've used Liquid before and loved it but I usually try some ROMs then settle on one of them (theoretically the one which is most often updated). So if there is not something radically different, I don't feel the need to switch
Maybe this could be the answer why there are not so many reports on this one...but I must admit Liquid is one hell of a ROM. If it has all the features from Odyssey or Beanstalk I might try it as well
Maybe folks are waiting for kk.
However I did try this rom and it has all the features you could want from what I could tell.

That's not a stopper for me. I hate everything else but English in any technical related stuff...especially computers and gadgets. That mean I'll give it a try maybe this night even if Beanstalk looks smooth also. But I remember how smooth Liquid was, smooth as...liquid
This ROM is just straight up fantastic!!!
Have been on custom roms since december 2009 - on 6 different kinds of hardware so far.
On my One S I have tried almost all roms - frantically looking for a smooth, clean and stable rom.
Have been on CM 10.1, CM 10.2 and MIUI v5 as the latest ones.
This one beats them all. Thank you guys!!!!!
I think you should set the 3 dot overflow menu button to show as default for the One S, since i come from Sense roms (and it's by default there), it's been annoying me all day and only found out just now that you can actually enable (or disable) it
OK, I've flashed it. Mostly has the same functionality as Beanstalk or Odyssey. What I couldn't find though, maybe I've overlooked it, is the capability to wake the device by vol buttons. Since I'm using bubba, I have swipe2wake so it's not such a big loss, but I was more used with vol wake. Also there are not so many battery icons available to choose from
What I DO LOVE is the new LiquidSmooth boot animation. They changed it since I was last using this ROM and they did a great job. Now I'll see how it is going in th next few days with it compared to Beanstalk

This rom is compiled using SaberMods 4.8.5 GCC toolchain and the kernel is my custom kernel built with SaberMods 4.9.3 GCC toolchain with graphite enabled in both. I ave modified the /build git repo to enable many speed tweaks and GCC compiler flags, and /vendor/liquid in order to enable a few more options for building. I have also modified the android manifest of LiquidSmooth wich can be found on my Github in case anyone wants to build this themselves. This rom has unbelievable speed, try it out for yourself!

FaZe is on fire! Bringing more development on this Kindle. Nice and great job! Flashing when this Kindle reaches full battery!
Woot cant wait to try hopefully over clock plays nicer on my device on this ROM.!!???
Im still looking to fix the random reboots with my kernel, so far so good on my test kernel, if everything goes well I'll upload it asap, I just want to make sure its fixed before release
Thank you! :good:
Hmm, can't seem to get layers to work. The settings nor the quick settings get themed.

Yeah I'm not sire what's wrong with that, may be a problem on liquidsmooths end so I'll wait for a fix then sync up the sources. Also I think 720p is broken on YouTube just like the KitKat version of liquid smooth so its definitely liquidsmooths errors. And just when I may have fixed YouTube not working after the screen goes off and the kindle needing a reboot. Its valentines day today so the fix will he out tomorrow
Also, I can remove layers and implement cm theme chooser if that's what people would prefer?
I'm running right now.. Really stable no issues except layers keeps crashing.

I like layers concept but it's gonna take a while to learn to use.

I would personally prefer the theme chooser until liquidsmooth irons out the bugs with layers. Just my $0.02. Enjoy your Valentines Day :good:
Layers is not by Google. Its by bitSyko ( @sykopompos ) . Layers are created for specific devices, so we might need themers to create and make them compatible with the Kindle. In my opinion, layers is beyond better than CM Theme Chooser. Have it on my N4 and its amazing.

What did I do?
Sean and bunchies were working on getting layers working right on liquid smooth, there was something conflicting with it and they were trying to figure it out
I liked this Rom its simple clean and smooth. Keep testing it.
Didnt understant work of layers...
Rom isnt rooted. Developer should continued to work in this way - simple clean and smooth
Keep testing it.

Thankz faZevoLv waiting liquidsmooth's fix and new version of great rom:good:
Thank you for bringing this rom to KFHD, it looks really nice! Do you have any screenshots please? Also, does the device get overclocked with your kernel by default, or can it be changed to normal? I'm a little worried about overclocking my device, it's already on it's limit I think

Don't worry, by default this is clocked at 350mhz - 1200mhz, which is the devices default clock rate.
And in case anyone has noticed, hashcode has updated the repos with a lot of changes, such as adding the new widevine libs which will fix google play movies and other video streaming apps that previously were broken, like Netflix? I will sync up the repos tonight and start the build ASAP, I'll keep you posted

ABOUT
New kid in the ROM arena, FlexOS is off to a great start with 1,000 G+ members in first month of its existence. You may ask: why another CM based ROM? This one has most of the features that other ROMs do, organised conveniently in FlexControl. It can be considered as an alternative to Bliss, EOS, etc. Anywho, I don't need any more excuses to build a ROM, let's just face it - flashing ROMs is an addiction, as well as building them, lol.
FEATURES
FlexControl - All the tweaks and features at one place!
Animation Control - Toast animations, Listview animations and system transitions.
HeadsUp Customizations just like Cm11!
Slim Shortcuts
Navigation Bar Tweaks - On/Off Toggle, Dimensions
Slim Advanced IME Features
Statusbar Network Speed Meter
Screen Sound Enable/Disable Toggle
Camera Switch Sound Enable/Disable Toggle
OmniSwitch - Use omniswitch alongside stock android recent apps or use it as primary.

Added few to the op.
Thank you for this one.
I tested it on another device and it was great, not so much for the device itself but I'm sure with the Note 3 it's going to run perfectly.
Downloading ....
Installed and it looks very nice. I like especially the boot screen.
Keep the good work on!

To avoid misunderstandings guys and gails reading this please check the following post first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60646694&postcount=53
MANY THANKS encho !!
Been "living" with May 17th edition since last night so here's my verdict (wow ! -easyy tiger ) so far
(anyone interested in a very early -ie "unboxing"- genuine and fresh impression please check this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60805610&postcount=550)
EXCELLENT in speed, smoothness and stability, more towards "smoothly / fluidly fast" than snappy (by God listen to this - flashaholics are really bonkers, aren't we ? ). No real issues that I came across so far (Gravity Box clashes with some of the built in settings but this was expected for a feature rich ROM -and there's workarounds too)
PLENTY of FEATURES - nothing I could think of really missing that could make one's life easier, and most of them conveniently gathered in settings->flex control but also "hiding" elsewhere (ie Ambient display under Settings->Display & lights or Nav bar buttons under Settings->buttons but also Smart call in Phone app settings->Calls).
LOVELY Lantern player with plenty of features (and without scrollbar getting in the way of three dot menus)
Lots of "personality" for all of the above plus graphics - especially this AWESOME BOOT ANIMATION that makes getting stuck in a bootloop a pleasant experience. Also try to kill all apps on the recents panel and then re-enter recents just to see what's there.
Overall, I should think this is an excellent, feature packed ROM !
Which rises the question: Which ROM would you add feature requests to ?
It was officially (unofficial) Bliss until now (and Broken up to a certain extent since, AFAIK, it was obviously NOT OK to complain about things not working in Broken but requesting features was allowed).
(Maybe they will all finally merge and form "the grandoughter of all ROMs" - who knows ? <encho probably >)
All the best!
Damn encho.. Stop making new Roms lol I can't keep up ? I'm tempted to try this but broken os is going so good for me! I don't know what to do....! Lol [emoji31]
Nice to see a new rom, thanks a lot for this. Will report after testing?

Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium HD app
OK so I tried this and I'm glad I did ?seems much smoother and a lot of things are actually working. I think this Rom is the best Rom for the note 3.. But then I said that for broken lol so I'll say for now it's the best.. ?
Dear encho,
I would like to use AOSP rom but could we have soft can be use auto answer with Bluetooth headset?
