[Q]Tcp stuck during GSM call?

Hello,
I've encouneterd a strange problem, and maybe some of you know the answer.
I wrote a WIN32 app, which uses TCP sockets (on Htc HD2).
It works great, but when the user is making a GSM call, the TCP sockets won't receive any data during that call. How can I solve it? I want to get data also when the user is during a very long GSM call.
I also use TAPI to get notification about the GSM calls, but I don't think that the problem is caused by the TAPI.
Has anyone encountered this kind of problem?
Thanks,
Emil.
By the way, all of the data is kind of queued inside the socket during the call, because as soon as the call ends, all of the data that was send during the call -is received immediately.
You need 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) connection to be able to transfer data during a call. GSM does not support that
But I do have HSDPA connection. Even while during the call it seems that the connection is still turned on (I know it, because the incoming messages are queued and I get them as soon as the call ends)

[Q] Any way to give priority to incoming calls while using EDGE?

Since I'm using an AT&T Android phone on T-Mobile, I cannot receive calls while utilizing the EDGE network. Is there any way to force the data connection to quit by giving first priority to an incoming voice call?
Thanks.

Internet Calling on ICS

Hi, I have a Rogers i727R Skyrocket
The phone works great, when I setup my SIP accounts all works well, I can make outgoing calls on the LTE network, but incoming calls do not work, I have enabled allow incoming calls.
If I go on wi-fi, everything works, incoming and outgoing calls, but once I change it to the mobile data, I can only make calls, but not receive them.
I don't want to forward to my cell phone, I want them to come in directly to my SIP account.
Again, If I go on wi-fi, incoming calls work, if I disconnect wifi, incoming calls do not work, but I can make outgoing calls.
Thanks anyone for your help.
Ive had this post for days and yet no one responds, does no one have a solution.

I don't think you have that option unless you use a 3rd party app. Know that this will eat battery having inbound active full time.
Here's what I do; I have my VoIP number set to a ring group. It will ring my ATA house phone, the work VoIP phone, and my cell number. I pickup on the deskphone if I'm there otherwise I take it on the cell. I then use the droid VoIP for outgoing only. I never have to give out my cell number yet I have it handy.

[Q] Route calls through second Android via internet

Here's the endpoint - I want to have an internet connected device in my hand that can make and receive calls and send and receive texts, regardless of whether I have mobile coverage. As long as it's on the internet, I want to be able to use it as a regular phone.
I'm halfway there.
I have an Android phone with my primary number, plugged in and connected to WiFi in my flat, a good mobile signal area. I can install MySMS on it to handle texts, then the tablet app on the device I keep with me. That's SMS sorted.
What I need is some way of making a voice call over the internet to that handset, and routing that out via my cellular provider. And automatically routing incoming calls over the internet to the portable one, or if I'm making a cellular call, have the caller ID display the number of the phone in the flat.
Basically, I think I want to turn an Android phone into a Google Voice server, just for my use.
Can this be done?
Thanks
looking for the same. have you found something ?
I never did

Incoming gsm/lte phone connection priority over other communicators audio connections

HI all,
My gf's phone behaves in a really strange way...
During an audio call using common communicators, say skype, whatsapp, messenger, if a new incoming gsm/lte connection is coming, then it automatically takes priority over communicator call. Communicator call is put on hold.
What is most annoying, is that you are not able to inform the person on other side of the line that there is a new incoming connection - no, the second incoming connection is appearing on screen, current connection is put on hold. To clarify, user can chose whether to accept or cancel new incoming call, but the 'communicator' call is already on hold;(
I find this most annoying coming from iphone environment, where I have full control on all live and incoming connections and where no connection is prioritised. When im on a whatsapp audio call and a regular gsm connection is coming, I can let other person know that I have incoming connection and decide to answer, cancel or put current call on call. I find this rather normal behaviour. Unfortunately this is not the case on my gf's phone which drives me nuts
Please let me know if this is case of specific ROM, or android os in general? I hope you could guide me toward an easy solution, hopefully not requiring reinstalling new rom. Many thanks!
Phone is running MIUI Global 10.2.1.0, Android 8.0.0.
