[Q] Fujitsu F-02e restarts after/during phone calls - General Questions and Answers

Hi! I've recently bought Fujitsu F-02e and I'm having problems. Phone randomly reboots (not always) during or after phone call. 5-15sec after phone call was made it says 'power off' and restarts. Phone is set to gsm only. No memory card. Not rooted. Tried hard reset - nothing changed. Also turned off time sync with operator.
Please help!

it may be an issue with your gps, try turning it off. i've seen others indicate that the phone reboots if gps and cell network are turned on at the same time while the phone searches for position - it's true for mine too. apparently you can only use gps in airplane mode, something about it being a safety feature.

[Q] Connection Problems

For the past couple weeks I have been having major connection problems with 3G & WiFi. It would just stop working, even though the bars would be there and show that it is working, but nothing would load. Normally have to turn off Wifi or data for a couple minutes and then turn it back on, or reboot, but even then it does not last that long.
I found on these forums and other places that people seem to have been having the same issue and was caused by the recent update from SuperSU and something it was giving permissions to called mksh. So I denied it permissions, continued to have problem, I went back to the older version, still the saem, I removed the program, and started using just normal Superuser, and the problem still continues.
I was for sure this was the problem, but the program is gone now. I know it can't really be the mksh by itself because it's part of the android OS. For awhile I thought it might have been my SIM card but quickly realised that well WiFi is a problem as well, not just 3G data.
Any one have ideas about this? It's getting really annoying and almost not usable.
BUMP, anyone, this is getting quite annoying. I have searched and done everything possible.
Still needing help.
I don't like bumping this all the time.
I have done all the searching I can, no one has similar problems, no one has any ideas?
Still looking for some answers.
I guess I am the only one.

What do you mean by toggle Airplane mode, when having the problem, turn it on, then turn it off, to see if service works again?
Yes that works, that is what I do most of the time, actually most of the time I have airplane mode on, and then have only wifi enabled.
Either way, how does troubles with WiFi as well as 3G connections mean a problem with my service provider? They don't provide WiFi
Anyone..

Greetings,I have a problem with my phone that came from factory on 4.4.2.It is very fluid and everything works fine, but I noticed that if I have airplane mode on so I save battery,I can't turn on wifi and if wifi is already on and I turn on airplane mode,it will shut down.Do you know the solution since that is very importiant to me,I lost arround 25% of battery since airplane mode was turned off while I was on wifi.

You would need to tell us the exact make and model of your phone for anyone to help you out.
I know with Apple products you can turn on aeroplane mode and still use WiFi. Maybe your phone just doesn't allow this and takes the meaning of 'aeroplane mode' very seriously.
Quick google search and you will find tips for saving battery. Maybe you are actually using it too much. Try only using it when you really need to and you will notice that the battery will actually last you a whole day, maybe more.

Phone is Doogee DG310 Voyager 2,I saw some people can turn wifi back on their 4.4 and some can't.I have rooted it very easy and is there some app that allows me to have wifi on with aeroplane mode?
have the same problem
I have the same problem with the same version kitkat 4.4.2 stock on DG310
I used to use wifi on my s3 with version4.3 stock with no problem.
Can someone kindly look into this?
See http://muzso.hu/2013/04/07/changing...e-mode-radios-via-commandline-on-rooted-phone
The airplane mode toggleable radio entry in the settings.db file.
If you have root explore with the sql editor, it's easier.
Tried the method, wifi still not working
make it work by this way.
In addition to the link above , I also need to do this to make it work.
WHERE name='airplane_mode_radios' , take "wifi" out from the value string
the downside is when you toggle fight mode the wifi will keep on , not shut down. If you want to shut it off, you need to do it manually, which is no big deal for me.
Did you reboot between changes?
After the first link above, I did the reboot. For the additional update I did, I didn't reboot if I didn't remember wrong.Anyway I did reboot after, it stays that way.

[Q] Wifi issue ! (Lollipop 5.1)

Hi All,
I got the Lollipop 5.1 OTA 2 days ago and installed it - everything went smooth and the phone working fine...
But I noticed that if I reboot my router (or turn it off / on again) the Wifi don't reconnect unless I turn on the screen (the second I turn on the screen the wifi connect normally).
I didn't have this issue with Lollipop 5.0.1
P.S.
I know that this is happening because I have a led on my router telling me if any of my Wifi devices is connected or not. And to make sure I also entered the router settings to see if my phone is connected or not.
Anyone noticed that issue with the new lollipop 5.1 ?
Cheers,
I think that your problem is not switching off the router. The problem is when your phone goes to suspension (screen off) and then it drops the wifi off.
My Nexus 5 with 5.1 is doing the same

I've got some similar behaviour here, both when updated from 5.0, and with a fresh install from the factory images. When I arrive at a place with known WiFi, the phone only connects once I turned on the screen. After that, it stays connected until I move out of range and back again.
It's probably a matter of responsiveness/battery life. The more it polls for networks, the more battery it uses. It should connect, even with the screen off, within a few minutes.
That being said, I have my wifi set to always stay connected, and I've seen it not connected when I turned the screen on, then connect a couple seconds later. So, there's that. Curious how often it does that.

That's what I suspected. Sometimes, the waiting game works, but I've had my N5 lying on my desk – where it usually gets full WiFi bars – for about 40 minutes the other day, still it did not connect until I turned the screen on.
Edit: Just now, my phone disconnected from WiFi when the screen turned off, which leads me to believe that this is all caused by the WiFi sleep policy. Could it be that Google messed up something there?

My "research" has led me to believe this is the case.
Anything in terms of a workaround?
I came across those settings in the developer options (see screenshot), especially the "Always allow WiFi Roam Scans" looked promising. Been playing with them, but so far no luck.
Hi All,
exactly the same issues as yours guys are happening since I received the OTA 5.1 and installed it !
I Guess something messed up with this new update in regard of the wifi... as you mentioned.
If you come across a workaround or a confirmation from "Google" please share.
Cheers,
(With almost everyone nowadays having data ..it is difficult to notice such a behavior due to the fast wifi/data switching)
I have seen this happen as well. My battery graph will even show a missing area for WiFi indicating it turned itself on and off twice within a few hours and then stayed on after that.
Google just now released LMY47I, has anyone had a chance to see if that version fixes our problem? Once I'm off work (in about 8 hours), I'll give it a whirl and report back.

Could you please elaborate on that? I'm familiar with Tasker, but I can't think of a way of dealing with this, since I'm not sure what actually happens with the WiFi. The settings appear untouched.

I'm sorry, but my phone is now in the service center , and press that I do not remember specifically . The idea is that when you disable wifi, a time interval is forced to connect to a particular network . Look presence on the internet , here is full of instructions.

Almost all of the changes on these different builds are SIM related for specific carriers.
LMY47I was only released to LGD821 devices with SIM cards from Indian and Australian carriers
Same problem here. I am slowly losing faith in Google. Get the frickin basics going guys!!!
Back to my 5.0.1 build.
I've gone back to 5.0.1, too. Pity, except for this I was pretty happy with 5.1. Maybe 5.1.1 will actually be usable.
Do you think it can be related to Issue 163350? code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=163350
I have just reported that, but I'm still trying to understand if it just happens to me or what.

I think the solution is "use vibrate mode on". Get your device to vibrate mod and test it.
I am waiting for your feedback.

Nexus 5 WiFi Crashing Phone

Hi all. I have a weird issue that after Googling it doesn't seem anyone else has had.
The issue started earlier today, in the morning. I was using my phone on the WiFi and it was working phone, then my phone crashed, restarted itself.
I noticed it wasn't connected to the WiFi, went to the WiFi settings and where it usually says the list of networks it said "Turning on WiFi" and the slider at the top was greyed out so I couldn't turn it off.
I tried airplane mode and that didn't help. But the phone was working fine on my mobile data so restarted.
Now the weirder part starts. I basically have an issue where, if I turn on the WiFi, my phone crashes, or doesn't act like it's turning the WiFi on.
Even going Settings and then pressing on the WiFi option freezes the phone.
The problem started when I was still using 4.4.4 however since the problem developed I've used my mobile data to download the updates and now have 5.1.1 I think.
The problem persists even after updating to the most recent version and doing a factory restore. The phone is currently completely stock with nothing downloaded on to it. All I did is go through the first time setup for the device.
The WiFi currently is off, and the phone is working however it won't connect to my data, it has the signal bars and then an ! instead of a 4G icon.
If I try to turn the WiFi on it crashes the phone.
The phone is still under warranty so I plan on contacting LG on Monday however it's currently 3:34 AM on a Sunday so I have a day until I can call them and was hoping for a solution in that time.
Thanks in advance. I have the phone to hand so anything you want me to test I'm able to.
There is some information I didn't type as I don't know what is important was trying to avoid a wall of text so if you have any more questions I'll answer I best I can.
Thanks for reading, I hope you can help!

Question Phone Randomly Hangs Up Calls Immediately

Hey All,
So all of the sudden I started experiencing a weird issue. About once a day my S22 Ultra will immediately hang up a call. This happens if I make a call, I will go to send the call and then the phone just immediately disconnects. If someone calls me, as soon as I tap on answer it immediately hangs up. A restart of the phone fixes the issue but it lasts about a day before it starts doing it again and then I have to restart again. This happens whether I am making a WiFi call or a cell data call. I have tried clearing the cache and app data for the dialer/phone as well, neither has worked. My phone has never done this before until just about 3-4 days ago (I've had the phone since May). I am on Verizon using an unlocked version of the phone. Any ideas on what I can do here would be greatly appreciated, this is a very annoying problem!
Thanks!
Try resitting the sim card unless it is esim. Also try in safe mode

Did you turn it off and back on? I tried calling with it enabled and disabled and still got disconnected immediately. Only a reboot seems to work and that's only a fix for about 24 hours or so.

I turned it off completely. I have dual SIM enabled and I turned them off for both.
My issue was everytime I received a call or dialled someone, after answering it would immediately disconnect until I restarted device and this WiFi calling was the issue.

I kind of need Wi-Fi calling. I work from home a lot and my office is in my basement, so cell signal is not good at all. I am really curious what is causing this all of the sudden. I wonder if it was the latest system update, maybe?

Yes, was the last January update that messed it up for me. Before that, Wi-fi calling on dual SIM was flawless.
