Hello and greetings,
I am currently running Goodness 10.04.1 on SG3 I535. Everything works super smooth but when i try sending a little than longer text (80 characters) it just hangs. I read the forum looking for answers or better a fix. I replace "feature.xml" located in /system/csc.. didnt work.
Also I cant get the sys updater working. I followed all the requested steps all i get is forced closed.
Any help would be killer. This is awesome rom thanksTeam Nocturnal!

I am at the same question Antonyvijai.
How can I put this on my phone (AT&T 2.2 KB1 Froyo + Root + Supercurio's KB1 + Voodoo + CWM Recovery)
If I need to deodex, a link to a how to would be awesome!
Question 2, does flashing this mod remove any themeing I have installed?

Absolutely. Having a guide will help us a lot. Last thing we need is an hard bricked captivate

Ok, I googled the phrase "deodex android".
It looks like the 3rd result is a HOW-TO (it is titled that anyway). So I am off to read this! I'll let you know what happens later.
I still need to know if flashing this mod will wipeout my matted blue theme!
Thanks!
UPDATE:
I read the link. I am going to try this, however, I do not have the time right now (have a "real" job I am late for already!) If anyone tries this, post here to let us know the result!

That I know / understand now! So, won't have that question anymore. In the adb shell command I see it is referring to ext3. I flashed voodoo lagfix injected kernel and somewhere I read it changes it to ext4 or something like that ..is it something I need to watch at least or it doesn't matter too! For anyone wanting to give Google Now a try on the photon Q. I gave this a test run no problems to report other then did seem to drain battery alittle faster thruout the day. But worked no issues or FC cards popped up as i used it more.
You do need to be Deodexed to run this
you can do that here if you havent already.
I used •M7 - mikeyxda's version 7 Offline/Online
Read all the instructions in the post. its well laid out easy to follow
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29756226#post29756226
IF you decide you want to remove Google now and return to stock use this
DO NOT USE THE SUPPLIED ZIP IN THE LINKED POST
it deletes acouple of needed files for normal search on the Photon.

Sorry for cluttering this up with such a basic question, but I have no idea what to do. I'm a total newbie to this and there are like fifty thousand ROMs to choose from in the ROM section.
I'm just looking for something clean and simple which will minimize battery usage as much as possible and possible speed things up. I wanted to use NeatROM, but it doesn't look like you can use it on the Skyrocket.
Thanks for any help!
No best ROM thread. Just read, read again, and read one more time then nandroid, then start flashing have to learn on your own at somepoint. I.e. start with slimbean then work your way down to others
+1. And do a lot of reading first. Only flash roms you find in the i727 xda development forum. Neat rom is not one of them and you most likely will brick your phone flashing the wrong rom.

Oh ya random question... can the ROM affect the quality of music playback?
Yes it can and the best one IMHO for that is CyanogenMod. Do not try beats audio drivers, they make it sound bad. And CM has a DSP app that handles sound for you. Any other suggestions from anyone else to help our new friend decide?

Ah ok great thanks.
I was considering CyanogenMod, UCM1, and SlimBean... so maybe I'll just go with CyanogenMod. I listen to music all the time so I want something decent.

Hey guys, I'm not only stunt but also dissapointed. Not only CM 4.2.2 has some old OS icons but also it can't execute the apps I had on 4.1.2 and repeats the same word not twice but THREE TIMES if I write fast... I will go back to the official JB 4.1.2 but I have only one question. All I have to do is Open Odin, Place the Stock 4.1.2 on PDA, Place the SG II on Download Mode and Start?

Well, I was not able to downgrade to 4.1.2 Vincom... Unfortunately Odin did not worked out as expected, and when I tried to do it through CWM, I was not able to downgrade it for some reason... It just said "Installation Aborted". Luckily I was able to reinstall 4.2.2 at least so my SG2 is working at least...

this doesn't explain anything, and it's spelled "stunned". what you needed to do to avoid random problems was to read the stickies. you wouldn't be "stunt" and you would know what to do in the first place. it's really not that much reading and the best part is: you'll actually know what you're doing. :good:

TouchWiz 4.3 Download List
This is everything that can currently be flashed on the 4.3 update without bricking your device. This will hopefully alleviate the confusion involved of what can and can't be flashed on the 4.3 OTA update.
I will keep this up to date as much as possible. Post in this thread or PM me if you think something should be added to the list. This can include anything (roms, themes, mods, etc.) that will work for anyone with a locked bootloader using safestrap.
Stock 4.3 OTA VRUCML1 rom
Stock 4.3 OTA VRUCNC1 rom
Safestrap

Custom Roms
AllianceRom
Wicked Sensations Rom
MOAR
CleanROM 8.2 Core Edition
Samstock
Slapnuts

No idea.
It's probably an issue with your Google account. I would try erasing it completely and re-adding it. You could also try flashing a custom playstore or installing a different one to see if you can fix the problem.
It isn't rom related.

yeah bro. foxfi wireless tether works.
there is a free version and a paid version though.
there are 2 annoying things.
1 it's not free
2 it forces you to "lock" your phone with a password/pattern/or pin number.
So are any AOSP roms supported with safestrap? I'm looking at the download list and it's just modified TW roms.
My brother took the OTA, but is now interested in switching to AOSP and I wanted to make sure it was even possible.
