Hey guys, I'm not only stunt but also dissapointed. Not only CM 4.2.2 has some old OS icons but also it can't execute the apps I had on 4.1.2 and repeats the same word not twice but THREE TIMES if I write fast... I will go back to the official JB 4.1.2 but I have only one question. All I have to do is Open Odin, Place the Stock 4.1.2 on PDA, Place the SG II on Download Mode and Start?

Well, I was not able to downgrade to 4.1.2 Vincom... Unfortunately Odin did not worked out as expected, and when I tried to do it through CWM, I was not able to downgrade it for some reason... It just said "Installation Aborted". Luckily I was able to reinstall 4.2.2 at least so my SG2 is working at least...

No, First Odin, didn't work. Went back to 4.2.2.

That's what I've been trying to!! I spent the whole day on the damn computer trying to go back to stock but I can't! When I use Odin it gets stucked on AT&T logo! After 10 minutes I decided to go back to 4.2.2. Then I tried with CWM but I don't know why it said "Installation Aborted"

Ummm well... I fixed it, it seems the stock firmware I previously downloaded was damaged, for some reason it was booting 4.2.2 instead of 4.1.2... I am stunt, I really don't know why, but a friend came over with his SG2 and in just a couple of minutes I was able to be in 4.1.2...

this doesn't explain anything, and it's spelled "stunned". what you needed to do to avoid random problems was to read the stickies. you wouldn't be "stunt" and you would know what to do in the first place. it's really not that much reading and the best part is: you'll actually know what you're doing. :good:

Nope. If it's a t959 you have a vibrant. Go to the proper forums for your phone. Look under your battery for the model number.

Oh yea its SGH-T959V. Sorry forgot the "v" but yea I used the 'back to stock' cause my phone messed up and wouldn't even go to recovery only Download mode. But, that is all fixed lol.

Yeah sorry man but e don't have cm yet. Some if the way more experienced devs are working on it.
It might be a while.
Try valhalla black in the mean time, it's pretty good. (flash regular valhalla, then valhalla black to avoid app problems, just a quick tip)

EDIT: Can you tell me where to find both of them? and the best way to install it cause for some reason I cant get CwM to work on my phone and I could try using adb with cmd but I don't want to risk messing up my phone again :X
RE EDIT: Umm... I installed [ROM] ACID presents ICBINB and for some reason its been at the green android dude for couple of mins now and its not going anywhere he's just popping up and better then disappear then it does it again over and over again. oh, and it vibrates every so often.

You flashed a Froyo 2.2 ROM on GB 2.3 boot loaders. It might work but your recovery will be all screwy. Your probably soft bricked so back to heimdall. There is an icbinb for kj6. Search development

I wasnt using my phone when it turned off, but the first time i just kinda shook it and put the battery back in and it worked, but the next time it happend i had it charging and when i touched it thats when it tuned off and gave me the samsung logo again

Go to settings, about phone at the bottom of the screen. It will give you the info... android version, kernel version, baseband, etc.

Hi all, let me explain, I downloaded a soft (GOO MANAGER) that download rom itself for the phone, I flashed it, and now my sky dont boot o cant get recovery mode or recovery, I did VOL - and put de usb .. nothing happens, only my pc show me FORMAT USB (for a few seconds) and disconected, and show me again the same window (asking for formating) again again again. What I can do?

you probably flashed the wrong rom for your phone, so yes jtag the only way if your does nothing at all, no vibration or splash screen

Think I had the same thing happen to me. I believe the'file'name'was something like aokp-skyrocket-milestone6 and gapps file that popped up with it when checking for compatible Roms through the goo.im app

This is exactly why I never use goo manager or ROM manager to flash any thing or download any thing to many times have I read about ppl bricking because of these apps.
Did the same thing to mine, except I was downloading a recovery for another phone. Wasn't going to flash it off course, but GOO did it automatically. Hard bricked my phone just like yours. If it is still under warranty take it to AT&T store. They'll replace it for free. Don't worry, they won't be able to flash it back to stock or get it to boot either. Just play dumb and say you tried to start it up after charging and it just wouldn't turn on. I was in and out with a new skyrocket in less than 20 minutes

Same issues here, i think its a bug from S4 S-Voice. Since it leak before the launching.. Then i uninstall it lol

Heys guys.....need some urgent help. i recently got my samsung infuse rooted. now when i get calls..............i cant hear the person callin and they cant hear me. it really sucks since i'm missin alot of important calls. also i cant seam to stream vids from the internet like before. is there something i need to do. any help greatly appreciated:good::good::good:

to be honest i dont kno. i got a zip file that said infuse root.zip. and erecovery, followed the steps on youtube and i was pleased to see the superuser app on my phone. but since then till now i cant play vids off the net and when i answer my phone or make a call the other person and myself hera absolutely nothing

I checked out qbkings videos and they are all a year old I would suggest checking out this thread its got the easiest method I think to get rooted and cwm recovery included plus it will help you out if you ever get in a jam be sure to read read read
