I have bought it month ago, and it looks like I found the problem on the sensitivity of the touch screen. I feel the sensitivity of the touch screen is less sensitive, so I have to touch the screen a little harder to be able to run it. I've tried removing the screen guard, resetting the phone, and update it but to no avail. I think to try to find the calibration software but it is hard to find. Anyone experienced it too? please help me resolve this problem .. Thanks in advanced
Thats a normal thing. I have experienced it too. But after time you won't notice that.

After using my used Treo 750, WM 6, AT&T for about two months, it started experiencing the screen problem. Upon hard reset, the screen would respond to the first tap, and be almost unresponsive to the calibration. I had to press repeatedly very firmly. Went through a couple of hard resets and it didn't get better.
The screen would respond find for a while and then start working. I thought that I had it all taken care of and was working well yesterday until the afternoon rolled around. It started being unresponsive again. After a hard reset, it would respond to the first touch and then calibration barely worked.
Finally, I was able to get into it and installed Palm's Device Reset and ran it. It has since then been calibrating fine. I'm only using it bare bones right now and won't be able to test it more in depth until this weekend to see if the problem is resolved.
I did notice using SKTooks that the gwes.exe process was running at a high percentage while this was occurring, near 40-50 % when it is running at 0% now.
Any thoughts? ANyone tried the device reset at:

Treo 750 touch problem
Hi , I'm having the same problem wit my Treo . Did you solve your problem?
Hey Davidoff,
For quite a while, mine acted up, so much that I bought a used Wizard to replace it. Even after performing the device reset as I noted above, it would still be unresponsive at times, with the GWES.exe process (as shown by SKTools) running much higher.
For a while, I let it set without it's battery (perhaps a week) and then reinserted, fully charged it and immediately disabled ALL today plugins. So far, it has been running great but I'm very tentative to switch back to it as my primary phone, even though I love it.
I'm wondering if you can try disabling your today screen plug-ins, set the screen backlight to dim at one minute and the device to auto-off at one minute and see if this helps to resolve the issue. I'm curious as to whether any of those three combinations made a difference in mine, or have just bought time until it acts up again.
Anyways, I'd be interested to learn your results.
Brian
First of all Hello and thank you for having a great forum. I have learned a lot from the posts that I have read. Ok, like I said my touch screen lost its touch. It started acting up last week and got to the point where it would not accept touch input. I tried a hard reset, but I still have the same problem.
I am beginning wonder if any of you sages and guru's may have come across something like this in the past. I tried flashing the device but it is difficult since I can not touch the screen to ok the program load.
So, do I have a hardware or software problem? Also, are there ways to select a soft key other than touch? Thanks for reading and if you got any ideas let me know.

I would say its a hardware failure, especially since you flashed your phone and your screen still wont register any touch. But I would wait for a second opinion before I take it in to be serviced.
Thanks, but I was not able to flash only reset it using the alternative method described on Verizon's website. I am trying to flash the phone with a new ROM, but the phone prompts me to click 'yes' or 'no' on the screen to install new software. Of course, that is a no go. I tried to flash from the security unlocked screen but the flash program will not run. I am almost out of options.
You woudn't be using a case on the phone by any chance, would you? I have noticed some cases extend onto the screen too far, causing it to be touched, and then it wont recognize any other screen touches.
I went through the same thing a year ago, and I found some posts from people with the same problem.
It is caused by gunk getting in groove around screen.
take a business card or similar thickness paper and drag through groove around screen.
If that does`nt work get a piece of duct tape and apply to screen and gently pull off at steep angle.
It will lift screen back up and unstick it.
Oh my God... only now I understand what could happened to my Raphael:-O
I've just write this post... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=771602
Has anyone else seen this. The task switcher comes up by itself. When I am in a browser, it will scroll by itself. the desktop switches between screen..
Thoughts?
Thanks
Does this happen anytime? I've never had this, make sure your screen is clean xD Otherwise you could try the touchscreen booster app, it may fix it (calibrates screen)
Yeah tried that, but still have the issue on occasion
My bezzel was on too tight and it was causing the screen to warp and cause false inputs so you might want to check that
Hi,
I have the same issue.
My screen is moving and it lauches some applications/pushing some virtual buttons by itself.
Do you have any solution ?
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Have you tried a reboot? This same problem happens to me if water gets on the screen, so as suggested give the screen a good wipe.
I have tried reboot, Cold reboot (I don't know what it is but I have tried...) and Hard reboot (wipe everything and I did not install/configure anything).
I cleaned the screen (5 minutes ago).
Nothing of these solved the problem... :-(
The screen moves... shifting from a desktop to another... launching apps... :-(
What is disapointing is that, sometime, the screen is good and stable for a long time (30 minutes) and begins to move without any interaction.
I think I will ask if someone has been murdered in my appartment

Have you cleaned the bezel too? Otherwise it may look like a hardware issue maybe with loose cables or the digitiser is just broken.
Sorry if I couldn't help.
What is the Bezel ?

The metal strip round the outside of the screen
The black space that surrounds the the screen.
OK, I did not wipe both black surrounding and metal cover.
I do it ASAP and tell you in an hour if this is ok.
Thank you very much both of you

Unfortunately... no change..... :-(
I egin to believe the screen is too sensitive to electromagnetique perturbance....
I downloaded a soft (touchscreen tuner) showing where the pression is done on the screen.
Where the ghost uses the tablet, the pressure is done on a horizontal line, a little bit above the bar.
I had the me problem.
I managed to get rid of the ghost inputs by flashing another rom(i had installed arhd and then moved to liquid smooth), since my tranny is running liquid smooth i havnt had any ghost input ;D
Thank you all,
I changed the rom of the tablet. The ghost was also there... but perhaps less...
I contacted and he gave me a soft to re-calibrate the touch screen:
http://vegantab.gojimi.com/download/TouchRecalibrate.apk
At the end the ghost seems to have disapeared... but I am not sure what was the solution... the rom ? the soft ? or a high elecytromagnec perturbance in my home.....
Thank you all.
Just in case it's necessary, make sure you don't have something that can conduct near the screen. This includes dirty water or sweat. :/ I'm a sweaty guy so sometimes it messes with the screen when my finger tips are sweaty.
Hi,
I tried to clean the tablet and put it on my bed.
I watched it during less than 2 mn, without approaching less than 1 meter, and it began to move alone...
So I don't think I am the source of the ghost...
is there any real fix for this problem?
as anyone completely got rid of the problem?
samsung gslaxy note 2 i317m ghost input and screen moves voluntarily
I also have this problem with them screen moving at will. This is my second galaxy note 2. If anyone can tell me what a possible fix could be I would appreciate it. I have tried many roms along with dong a fresh installation using ODIN.

Can not turn on the screen and after touching digitizer, can feel vibration so touch screen works. Its not possible I have 3 broken screens.Under youtube disassembly tutorials I also have seen many feedback form people who have the same problem. Anybody know what can be wrong ?
Thanks a lot for all comments

HI
I'm having an issue, where the touch function of the screen sometimes becomes non responsive, and reboot by holding both sidekeys is the only solution. Swithing between tiles by rotating the bezel works, only the touch function is "gone". Resetting the watch doesn't fix it.
I'm running the latest software version (R895FXXU1FVD4), my strap is as tight as can be and I clean the back of the watch every day. I'm running with screen sensitivity set On, as I have a Panzerglass on the screen.
I'm kind of hoping, that I'm not the only one, having this issue, and that someone has a valid solution.
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your input.
I've been using PanzerGlass since Day 1. This is a recent problem. I was hoping it was a software related one, but I'm not so sure anymore. 🥹

do you have moisture under the glass maybe ?
No. Everything looks and feels perfect.
On my watch4classic 46mm
I have the exact same issue from previous firmware update and to get it to responding I have to let watch go to aod mode and then wake watch again
The updates of this new wear os 3 are really messed up and have ruined experience of this watch
Latest software upgrade seems to have solved the problem.
Thanks for your replies and suggestions.
