I to have to tell you this but you are going to have to send your device in to have the screen replaced. I have seen this numerous times on XDA and every time the owner has to send the phone back to have the screen replaced. I hope your warranty is still good.
Wow.. i won't believe what i hear just now from AT&T, they said it is not cover as warranty. I have no F..ing clue why the hack they do this to me, it never been drop to water or ground or physical damage but the reps said it is consider not cover the warranty.. I got so piss.

If the 1-year manufacturer warranty is still good I would call HTC. If the manufacturer warranty is still good your screen issue will be covered. I have known numerous people with the exact same screen problem and it was covered under the manufacturer warranty.
I have the same problem and no warranty...
i want to buy a new screen on ebay... it cost only 30 Euros or so. but the shops sell to party, only the screen and only the touchscreen.
this part the TOUCH SCREEN DIGITIZER ->
http://cgi.ebay.de/HTC-TOUCH-PRO-RAPHAEL-100-TOUCH-SCREEN-DIGITIZER-REPAIR_W0QQitemZ380196974454QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item5885816f76
or i need only the LCD screen?
in my opinion it looks like the first part... the touch screen digitizer
the "water like" looks near the touchpanel.
I have the same issue.. The screen will last a while in that state, but at some point the digitizer underneath will give way and render the screen useless. I had insurance ($125 deductable ouch!) so I am just getting a new fuze.
Just to note.. I pocket my phone daily, so I am thinking that the constant pressure is whats squishing these screens in a way that compromises the seal between the digitizer and the lcd.
I have a 1 inch square patch of dust under my screen near the ear piece. I call AT&T's warranty service center and was told that this would not be covered and that it was do to damage. WHAT?
My phone does have some nicks on it yes, but how can they say that I somehow damaged the phone by getting dirt under the screen? I told her that was ridiculous.
Now I'm terrified that if the phone has a hardware malfunction that they will tell me its my fault and they won't cover it. "Were sorry sir, its your fault the power button no longer works. You damaged it".
What kind of crap is this? I can't even see a portion of my screen in sun light.

Of course BD , i did this before & this happened i actually did it on purpose cause it had a scuff or two .
guys I have yellow marks on my screen due to over heating so i want to send it to replacement, the thing is , long ago I dropped my phone and it cracked a bit (see pictures)
will they consider the warranty avoided now because of such small crack?
thanks
Normally no, but I guess it depends on your country/store.
You see, for example in our country (Philippines), when buying the phone, the store offered me to get the extended warranty. You basically pay an extra $80 or so to cover accidental drops and water damage. So if you crack the glass (front or back), you damage the phone due to water getting inside, or even render the phone totally unusable, they'll fix it for free (or replace it if they can't repair it). It's best to check with your store, but normally that shouldn't be a problem.

wont they claim that the screen having yellow spots could be due to a fall that caused the crack? i know its not related but might they throw that in my face and start being smart on me ?...
so this morning i saw dead pixels on s8 plus 6 month old that are currently stuck. white green one red dots .I have been trying a few of those apps that flash the bright colors on your screen for a couple time and no luck so far. Anything you guys could recommend to help me fix this?
Would say looks like pressure damage not dead/stuck pixels. They won't go away, see you have a crack so might have weakened the glass and allowed screen to get damaged.

glass protector cracked and inside is 100% ok on mobile screen.
Samsung warranty is 2 years, would be able to get it replaced free then if there is no evidence of damage. (Take off screen protector before you visit their repair center).
