So after basically a terrible customer service experience with Spigen, I'm thinking of getting a different brand of protectors. I like the feel/look/discreetness of the Spigen, but want to know what you guys have otherwise.

I have been using the Tech armor HD clear protectors for a couple weeks now and have been having smearing issues with fingerprints. Have a MIME Ghost glass tempered glass protector on its way and will report back on if that is a better option.
I have been using Capdase KLIA range of screen protectors for my last 3 devices and found it to be of excellent quality. Highly recommended !!!
I like the tech armour. Finger printy but durable and smooth.

I just put on my Zagg Extreme 3 days ago. I have been using Zagg since the original iPhone and love them. The extreme is twice as thick as the normal one, which I like much better. It does takes a few days to get full clarity though.
So, has anyone had any difficulty using a Seido Surface case with the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector?
Thank you!
I like the Zagg HD. I've used it before with the E4GT and now the S4.
I would suggest InvisibleShield. I stick to the classic version. Got a few specks under the film when installing, but I can deal with that. I like the grip and the orange peel effect has never bothered me. I tried Ghost Armor, and it really was an inferior product.
Even with professional installation, the Zagg Invisible Shields keep losing adhesion in the upper-left corner. I'm trying the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass next, but getting the replacement Zagg sent as a backup. I do appreciate the scratch protection afforded by Zagg, but don't like the rubbery feel, nor the orange peel effect. There's no substitute for the responsiveness and feel of glass.

Don't like case. I just use a clear scratch resistant screen protector
The silicone case they sell at T-Mobile. Can't stand tpu's, or snap cases. I've have bought like 10 different cases and the only one that really fits my phone and completely covers the bezel is the one from T-Mobile. All my tpu's look good but don't cover all bezel. The snap case is just stupid, it breaks even with a small drop. And I don't think I'd ever have the balls to use my phone without a case. Especially in high-school. One drop and hello big a$$ crack on the beautiful screen.

I originally used the low quality TPU cases. High quality ones are obviously more expensive, but those cover better and are also easier to press.
I now use a Trident Aegis. Took me forever to put on the first time (rebooted my phone 5 times), but now I'm a pro at it. I love the protection, but I hate that it's so much thicker than the TPU case. It does make the phone feel more sturdy though.
Otter box. I have dropped my phone so many times with this cover and it hasn't had any damage.

I'm partial to the hard rubber i9000 cases, like below.
They're thin, look decent, snap right on and protect the phone from a small fall. It protects the glass minimally with like a 1mm buffer if you lay it down on a flat surface.
They wear out quick (the rubber coating stuff wears off), but at $1.20 a case (including shipping) on ebay they are disposable.
I order like four at a time. I like the black, orange and red.

I'm going to probably buy the One S. Which case is best? I prefer one that protects the screen/front as well as everything else. Something like the Otterbox defender for the iPhone which encloses the entire phone in a protective plastic shell.
suggestions appreciated!
I just got a One S and picked up an otterbox case. It has a rubbery case that goes on the phone and then that can clip into a harder plastic case, so there's shock absorption combined with a hard plastic shell. its kind of thick, but honestly i found the phone to be too thin without it. it's at a nice usable weight and feel with the case.
The otterbox case also comes with a clear screen protector which is nice. It wasn't cheap ($40-ish, cant remember) but im really happy with it so far and am not worried that i'll wreck the phone in any way.
Hope that helps.
If you want something very protective but not extremely thick put an invisible shield screen protector on and get a d30 case. Works pretty well but no where near as bulky as an otterbox.

I am just bought an Aegis case, looks like more protection than the Cimo I am currently sporting. The diztronic I got lost out to the Cimo.
I don't want it to be too thick though so the otterbox, etc, are out of the picture for me. I'll post a new thread when I get it. I am hoping the Aegis is a good compromise.
I purchased the D30 case when I bought the phone and use with a thin screen protector. As a clumsy person I've dropped it a number of times - including down my brick stairs onto concrete - and not a scratch or any indication of shock damage! Definitely recommend the D30. (About $40 was worth it.)

D30 case is $25.00 at T-Mobile.
I bought and its a great case minus the buttons which are hard to press. Very irritating.
Now have a Cruzerlite TPU case which is AWESOME. It is the slimmest case I have seen. You feel the actual size of the phone rather than a bulky case. Great protection and buttons are easy to press.

I bought the D3O case for my One S. I dropped my phone on concrete from the second story balcony and the only thing wrong was the case had a dent on it. T-Mobile told me that it was designed to absorb shock. As for a screen protector, I couldn't say any of them. I personally do not use one.

Using the t-mobile OEM D30 case on mine.
Got a black one from the t-mobile store on clearance, and a clear one from amazon.
In fact, aside from my workphones which have heavy duty otterboxes, i am going to start using these d30 cases on all my phones.
doesnt add a lot of bulk, and protects well.
As for screen protector, i pretty much grab whichever wet install i can find on amazon cheapest... zagg, armoursuit, ghost armor, whatever.
AW: Can anyone recommend a good case and screen protector?
As case I am using Otterbox Commuter case. It is not super slim but also not too bulky. It protects the phone really well. I don't know how often I dropped my phone now but thanks to Otterbox it is still in perfect shape.

I have the D30 case and screen protectors also bought from the tmobile store a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale. They may still be there since they've been clearanced. It was $14.99 on clearance and is so much better than the cheapo ebay case. It doesn't add a lot of bulk but feels safer. Also, unlike the HOS cases sold at Walmart, the Tmobile ones actually fit the HOS.
i also have the d30 clear case, really good case, feel really good on my hand and doesnt feel heavy , however i prefer the black snap on case from ebay better, just a personal preferences. if anyone want the d30 case, ill be more then likely to give it away for free, just pay for shipping

I've been using the Diztronic matte black flexible tpu case for a couple months now with no complaints. It keeps the phone pretty slim and provides enough of an opening for all ports and buttons. So I emailed Evolutive Labs asking whether or not they were going to make a bumper for the Galaxy S6 like they make for the Iphone. I attached a screenshot of their response.
This is the website for the Iphone bumper: http://www.evolutivelabs.com/pages/crashguard
I am sporting this for my S6 with the front and back pet film protectors and I am very pleased! The pet films are somewhat finger print smudge proof at least a whole lot better than without for that matter. The bumper gives that extra added grip.
Does the Rhino Shield front film protector cover the entire screen, edge to edge with no halos?
It cover edge of screen to screen but not edge to edge of the entire glass. No halos that I have noticed

How is this bumper holding out? How you "accidently" drop the phone?
So I received the bumper and can say I'm also quite pleased. Aesthetically its no frills. It has a matte finish which helps with the grip, buttons mash well and ports cut out fine. I only got the bumper and not the whole front/back kit. I have not dropped it yet so I only have the girl on the video to go by.
I really would love to grab this but after shipping and whatnot it comes out to $40 CDN for a bumper . I wish they had a Canadian reseller.
Yea if you don't mind waiting a bit, the price will go down especially when the copycats start coming out.
I want to get this bumper but i cant decide if i want the protectors or not. Are they just standard PET protectors? I'd rather order SGP front/back PET films for $10. That would save $10 off the rhino combo itself.

I didn't use the front protector since I already had one, but the rear protector is no good in my opinion. The cutout for the camera and flash isn't big enough or something, which created a bubble between the two that I couldn't get rid of. I would save the extra $ if I had it to do over again.

Cool, thanks! I've seen pics of the ring around the lens but i've also seen some without so i'm not really sure why that is.
I was only concerned with the rear anyways. I have a Zagg HDX protector which is supposed to be up to 3x time impact protection on the front, so the extra $25 for the rear didnt make sense. I also have a Dbrand skin on the rear. I went ahead and ordered the bumper only.

While this is true I think it's worth it to allow me to keep my phone as close to not having a case on it that I can, and still have really good protection. I hate having my phone covered up with a regular case.
Samsung s6 *****RHINOSHIELD ***** 5 STARS!
I've noticed some Samsung s6 users have questions regarding the Rhinoshield and I just wanted to let you all know my experience with this case.
- Rhinoshield only offers 2 colors. 1) Dark Blue and 2) White
- Since I have the Gold Platinum phone, I chose the white bumper
- Looks good and protects the bumpers 200 % (Please see video in Rhinoshield website)
http://www.evolutivelabs.com/collec...e-crash-guard-rhino-shield?variant=1315763137
- I also tried the ZAGG ORBIT BUMPER CASE SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 (Black) and it looks great BUT the Samsung S6 Charger doesn't fit the hole on the case! I contacted Zagg and they said they're aware of the issue BUT to try different chargers. I personally don't like using 3rd parts chargers SO i returned the case.
- NEVER use an Aluminum bumper! I had one on my S6 Edge (which I returned) and it scratched the Aluminum! Don't be fooled with these bumpers UNLESS it has rubber coated in the inside and your GPS doesn't get interrupted by the Aluminum.
* Here are some pictures, so I hope this helps people who are looking for a bumper case!
God Bless

First time I am facing having to protect a curved screen so a good protective case will be a must fro me. From the Galaxy s7 edge forums I managed to see Speck Candyshell case had the higestest "edge" on the case and it kind of feels most secure to me because it appears to put the most distance from entire phone screen to anything it might hit. Or do othe people think differently? Which company do you think will make the best portective case?
Also, which company do you reckon wil make the best screen protector?

We( myself, wife and two teenage daughters who break everything it seems) have been using with zero casualties I might add, the Supcase Unicorn Beetle cases for several years now. It's like a hard ish polycarbonate case but the entire outside edge has soft rubber over molded. Not expensive. I can't tell you how much those cases have saved me.
I too am looking for a curved tempered glass screen protector option. I skipped the "edge" option in the past models but can't anymore.
Just ordered the unicorn beetle pro for work and spigen neo hybrid crystal for home. The supcase has a built in screen protector to hopefully prevent scratches while at work. Since there aren't any good tempered glass out yet I'll go naked while not at work and hope the gg5 holds up.

The photo on Amazon says the UB Pro does not have a built in screen protector. I ordered mine today, too. Always went Otter, but they have taken too long to release the case in prior years. Need protection day one. Hope this one is similar quality. Now to find a tempered glass that doesn't sacrifice touch sensitivity...

I hope this is correct that's why I chose this one.

I am ordering the same one but just like with the defenders built in screen, I'm removing it and installing a glass curved protector.

It didn't say anything about a screen protector in the description, but I saw this and ordered it.

Here is what I was going off of. Not sure. I even saw in the description of one seller that said built in. Guess we'll wait to see. Perhaps two models?
I guess we'll see in a couple days. Amazon said it will be here Sunday. So, I'll let you know.

I'm just going to get my Note 7 insured and use a standard gel/foil protector as I've spent too much on tempered glass protectors that don't fit even non cutved devices like the LG G5 and Microsoft 950xl.
