So I emailed Evolutive Labs asking whether or not they were going to make a bumper for the Galaxy S6 like they make for the Iphone. I attached a screenshot of their response.
This is the website for the Iphone bumper: http://www.evolutivelabs.com/pages/crashguard
I am sporting this for my S6 with the front and back pet film protectors and I am very pleased! The pet films are somewhat finger print smudge proof at least a whole lot better than without for that matter. The bumper gives that extra added grip.
Does the Rhino Shield front film protector cover the entire screen, edge to edge with no halos?
It cover edge of screen to screen but not edge to edge of the entire glass. No halos that I have noticed

I really don't know if you can tell with the pic and the lighting but here you go. Maybe I can get better ones later

Thanks for sharing!
How is this bumper holding out? How you "accidently" drop the phone?
So I received the bumper and can say I'm also quite pleased. Aesthetically its no frills. It has a matte finish which helps with the grip, buttons mash well and ports cut out fine. I only got the bumper and not the whole front/back kit. I have not dropped it yet so I only have the girl on the video to go by.
I really would love to grab this but after shipping and whatnot it comes out to $40 CDN for a bumper . I wish they had a Canadian reseller.
Yea if you don't mind waiting a bit, the price will go down especially when the copycats start coming out.
I want to get this bumper but i cant decide if i want the protectors or not. Are they just standard PET protectors? I'd rather order SGP front/back PET films for $10. That would save $10 off the rhino combo itself.

I didn't use the front protector since I already had one, but the rear protector is no good in my opinion. The cutout for the camera and flash isn't big enough or something, which created a bubble between the two that I couldn't get rid of. I would save the extra $ if I had it to do over again.

Cool, thanks! I've seen pics of the ring around the lens but i've also seen some without so i'm not really sure why that is.
I was only concerned with the rear anyways. I have a Zagg HDX protector which is supposed to be up to 3x time impact protection on the front, so the extra $25 for the rear didnt make sense. I also have a Dbrand skin on the rear. I went ahead and ordered the bumper only.
Even for the bumper solely its quite expensive.

While this is true I think it's worth it to allow me to keep my phone as close to not having a case on it that I can, and still have really good protection. I hate having my phone covered up with a regular case.
Samsung s6 *****RHINOSHIELD ***** 5 STARS!
I've noticed some Samsung s6 users have questions regarding the Rhinoshield and I just wanted to let you all know my experience with this case.
- Rhinoshield only offers 2 colors. 1) Dark Blue and 2) White
- Since I have the Gold Platinum phone, I chose the white bumper
- Looks good and protects the bumpers 200 % (Please see video in Rhinoshield website)
http://www.evolutivelabs.com/collec...e-crash-guard-rhino-shield?variant=1315763137
- I also tried the ZAGG ORBIT BUMPER CASE SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 (Black) and it looks great BUT the Samsung S6 Charger doesn't fit the hole on the case! I contacted Zagg and they said they're aware of the issue BUT to try different chargers. I personally don't like using 3rd parts chargers SO i returned the case.
- NEVER use an Aluminum bumper! I had one on my S6 Edge (which I returned) and it scratched the Aluminum! Don't be fooled with these bumpers UNLESS it has rubber coated in the inside and your GPS doesn't get interrupted by the Aluminum.
* Here are some pictures, so I hope this helps people who are looking for a bumper case!
God Bless

Let us know how you like it when it arrives.
I like the extra corner protection. The case system seems like something from Aliens.
I had this case on my S3 for a few days before returning it, only because I didn't like the way the belt clip attached to the outer case. It's too hard to get it clipped in when the belt piece is still on your belt and you're trying to put the phone back in it. Also, I wasn't crazy about the clip piece being close to the screen. If this had a holster like Otterbox or a Seidio case I had for the S3, that would be much better IMO. Aside from the belt clip, the case itself is a solid Otterbox competitor, assuming build quality is the same for the S4 as it was for the S3.
I like the Trident Aegis case instead- just got one for my S4 and it offers the same protection without the bulky corners. I've had the Trident Aegis cases on my S2, S3 and now S4 and I must say its probably one of my favorite lines of cases.
Using the clip became 2nd nature after 2-3 days. I liked it because you could tell if the phone was on board without doing anything. What I didn't like is the ear opening cut off half the speaker and they didn't care.

I bought one for $30.99 on ebay. I have one on my s3 as well. I love the 360 belt clip and removable kickstand. Ordered mine on 5th, will be here on today.
Now I just need the phone.
Got this yesterday. Looks like a cross between an Otterbox Defender and an Element Case design. I really like it; pretty sure I like it more than an Otterbox Defender.
Pics:
Also, I discovered that the Kraken fits in the Arkon Galaxy Note 2 armband; I'm positive an Otterbox Defender case would fit also:

One of my previous Kraken cases use to drive me crazy when I wanted to put it on its back. Does the kickstand cause the case to rock when face up? Looks flush in the pics.

If you look on the back, the top corners protrude, so the upper 2/3 of the case are in contact with a flat surface when you lay it flat. If you push down on the bottom, it will tilt, however.

No. It is poly carbonate but has a small bit of texture and some louvers on the back (for heat maybe?). If you use the case without the back on it (Perseus) then it will have more of a silicone feel. Can't really compare this case to the Seidio Active because the Kraken is a Mil Spec case. Much more stout.
If anyone is interested I did a short video review of this case: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2288370

Hey guys I'm looking for a really slim case that isn't raised too much along the edges of the screen or cover too much of the sides of the device. A couple I'm looking at is the Obliq case, spigen capsule, spigen slim armor, or maybe the official Samsung protective case.
I have a tech 21 case now and it's ok but it's a bit bulky around the edges and kind of hides the shape of the phone.
I had the Tech21 case and currently have the Speigen Capsule and Samsung cases. The Tech21 was WAY too thick and bulky, and the buttons were hard to press. The Capsule is very thin, but has sharp edges IMO. I found it really uncomfortable to hold without it feeling like my hand may get cut (it never happened, but still hurt).
The Samsung case is awesome though. Fits beautifully and looks like it's a part of the phone. It protects really well too and hardly adds any thickness. I'd highly recommend it. It's worth the money 105%.

Yes, try Amazon.
Look up verus iron shield champagne gold galaxy note 4 review by real reviews on YouTube thy have a link in the description probably the best thin case for the note 4 in the link the have different colors also
Ringke Slim case is the slimmest one IMO by far at the expense of drop protection. The black one has a nice matte finish while the other colors are more glossy which I don't like.
It adds the least bulk and gives a bit of protection - I've dropped my phone onto hardwood floors a couple times from 3-4 feet. The case slightly deformed but the phone was perfect. However I expect any drop onto a hard surface like concrete will break the screen.
Like the previous post stated, the Ringke slim is super thin. The SF black has good grip.
I would go with the Samsung Protective cover though. a little thicker but you are drop protected and the case feels better in hand.
Ringke Slim 9.99
Samsung Protective Cover:
12.00 (Blue)
14.00 (Black)
15.00 (Red)
Thank you guys for the ideas. I really like how slim the ringke is but it makes me a little nervous. I think I'm torn between the Samsung protective case and the verus. Both look super nice although the Samsung appears to be a bit slimmer
I have a Verus Thor on mine, and I think it's pretty amazing for its slimness to protection ratio. Camera's protected, there's enough of a lip in front to protect the screen (I've got a tempered glass protector anyway), and if there's a con, it's that it fits so tight and snug that you don't want to take it off too often; I ended up buying a new dock just so I don't have to. Well, that, and it's not highly textured or rubbery, so it feels a little smoother in the hand than I see a lot of people liking. Fell out twice at work a few days ago--once onto concrete, once onto steel car wash railings--and it still looks pristine. I highly recommend it.

If by "thick enough that the camera isnt exposed," you mean that when you rest the phone on a table, the camera lens isnt resting directly on the flat surface, then yes. There is a lip around the camera lens that will keep it from touching any flat surface.
i want it too

Well after reading the comments from you guys I decided to pull the trigger on the blue Samsung protective cover. Seems like it offers good protection and a very slim form factor. I'll post some pics once it comes in the mail
That Samsung one looks nice. There is a great review on it from a guy named lawmanfj on youtube. I'll probably grab that one down the road. I just purchased the S-View case, and I really like it. It is a flip case, but it doesn't add much bulk. Seems like the drop protection might not be the best, but since it replaces your back battery cover, it's stay's slim. It does run about $26 through Amazon. I picked one up at Best Buy for a few bucks more, but got to try it out before purchasing.
You should post some pics when your case comes in, and give a review of it.
Does anyone know if there is a case like the Samsung Protective Cover, but replaces the battery door to make it slimmer? Basically i would like to find something with some protection around the edges, and a lip for the screen, but without adding to the thickness of the phone.
Just as the title says.
Im looking for a very hard, rigid case that wont bend, to protect my phone from bending while its in my pocket.
Thanks.
Ive been a fan of the unicorn beetle pro cases, I use one for my iphone6 for work and it has never bent and its in my back and front pockets. My only complain with them is the "screen protector" is plastic and attached to the case. eventually it becomes scratched. On my iphone i ripped it off and put a vinyl or glass protector. Others seem to like the two piece clamshell slide together cases.
When I do cases I usually get a clear skin from liek xtreme guard, and then put my case around that. Ive had dirt get in cases and scratch the phones. Some of these cases are so tight thats not an option.
Here is another thread on the subject, with some options!

Old design shows more of the screen but there was some flaws with it, the built-in screen protector was poorly done. It can be fixed by removing it and using a separate screen protector, I have a TGSP and its nice.
Nice suggestion! You're right, the older one is much better looking than the new one.

Yep, that new one sux's! What were they thinking?
I bought on of these off Amazon UK and sent it back; it's fugly and far too bulky IMO
Don't like the in-built screen protector on it either, much prefer a decent tempered glass which my 6P has already!
I've just ordered the Carpathian Elm Burl woodback explorer case from Cover Up and I've got x2 Orzly cases coming to me via eBay (Prime Armor & Air Stand).
I'm currently using the Spigen Rugged Armor case, but it's a soft case all round with no solid back which is ideally what I wanted; I'm disappointed that Spigen offered such a poor range of cases for the 6P and that Otterbox didn't even entertain making cases for it!

EvolutiveLabs is currently experimenting with a design for a RhinoShield case (presumably a backless bumper case).
A RhinoShield case will be made for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7. We are experimenting on a new design for this device. If you are interested in knowing more, please do subscribe to this list and we will keep you updated once we have more information.
The current release date is September. Pre-Order will start later this August.
Anyone that's interested in being notified on the latest news/pre-order/etc.. can sign-up here:

Looks like a decent case. I'll be looking forward to it.
Do any other backless bumper cases exist? I never found one for the Note 5 and would like to for the 7. The back on a bumper case is pointless and just adds thickness.

Looks sweet. Though, I'd like at least like a thin back with the honeycomb pattern they advertise for some minor protection, since it's all glass on the back, too.
Im afraid of this cause what if it lands flat on jts back? No protection at all.
I thought the whole point of a bumper was to be raised on the front and back so it can land on flat surfaces on either side and not damage the front or back. That's what makes it a bumper and not a regular case.

Thinking about taking a razor blade to the back of one of these Ringke cases I got for $1 to see if I can make my own bumper case. If no one will make a real bumper, maybe we can at least find the fake bumper case that can be easily converted into a real bumper case.

I'll probably do likewise, the Poetic Affinity case comes to mind.
The EvoLutive Labs/RhinoShield bumper for the HTC 10 adds too much width in the grip.
Some complained about the stiffness of the buttons as well.
I have no problem w/the latter, but,I did find the added width was too much & mine ended up in the land of misfit phone accessories after 1-2 days of use, which was a bummer @ $30..............
This was my favorite case for the note 5, can't wait to try this out especially since they didn't make one for the SD Edge
Good news! The Ringke Fusion, Fusion Mirror, and Frame are all two different types of plastic glued together, so with some bending and a razor blade to start the cut, you can separate them and throw away the back pretty cleanly. I don't have my Note 7 yet to see if it still keeps the camera off the table, and I'm not sure how much I stretched it pulling them apart, but it looks to be exactly what I wanted. Picture attached. These were $1 or $2 with coupon on Amazon a week or two ago. The fourth one I have from Ringke, the Air, is all TPU with no clear line to cut through, so I'm not even going to attempt making that one backless.

You are correct. The Fusion and Fusion Mirror were too flimsy on their own. The Frame case, however, with its plastic reinforcement wrapping around the TPU, is pretty decent. If you're going to modify a case to turn it into a backless bumper, I recommend only the Ringke Frame of those.

I'm with you. It looks good for sure. But because of the lack of back support, I'll have to pass.
Although looking forward to seeing the pics.
The Frame does work and is sturdy. I'll take a photo soon. Not sure what the advantage of back support is. We don't have front support. We have the lip sticking out on both sides to protect both equally.
I think we should try to keep case discussions in one place. Please post your experiences with Redmi Note 9 cases!
Personally, I'm currently using the one in the box, but I was looking to maybe get something a little fancier. Although, to be honest, it's been significantly improved from past phones, it fits a lot more snuggly!
Anyone have any good cases with a kickstand to recommend maybe?
I got the Nillkin textured nylon fiber case from the official mi store. It's not too bulky but still seems to provide good protection and it feels so good in the hand imo.
I got one of these, good coverage and protection and has a clear back so you can still enjoy the rear panel colour. Also a ring/kick stand which is handy.

Its raised around it a bit but camera still sits out a bit. I got a tempered glass screen protector which also came with a protector for the camera lens, so I've got some added protection too.

Cool case, thanks for sharing! I'll consider picking one up as well. Have you noticed any difference in Camera quality now that you have a tempered glass protector on top? I'm kinda concerned I'm gonna crack the module given how much it's protruding...

I got the Nillkin textured nylon fiber case from the official mi store. It's not too bulky but still seems to provide good protection and it feels so good in the hand imo.

I'm very happy with it, good protection but doesn't add too much bulk. I havent noticed any difference with the camera, once its applied you wouldnt know its there to be honest.

I finally came across this one on Amazon. It actually comes out far enough to protect the camera bump and has a deep enough lip in the front to allow a tempered glass screen protector and still not touch the table if face down. Even though it is one piece it comes in seven colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Case, TPU +PC Iron Armor Shockproof Designed Case,Full Body Dual Layer Rugged Cover for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro/Redmi Note 9s/Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Case (Black)
Just yesterday I switched from the included case to a Nillkin Frosted Shield.
Never had a Nillkin case before so thought I'd give it a go. Seems OK for the price but did take 58 days for delivery to Australia, due to Covid I suspect.
The phone fits snuggly into the case and the cutouts are almost perfect but I'm not quite sure that it's the case that I'll be staying with.
Looking for something that feels a bit more grippy in the hand as I tend to drop my phone's a lot. And I'd feel more comfortable with something that also adds a little more protection from falls.
The Nillkin is nice enough, and affordable enough, for those who aren't as clumsy as me, but I'm sure there's better out there for those who are all thumbs.

Yes it covers the camera with a small bump so it won't hit the table. Same with the front. If you put glass screen protectors on front and back they will align exactly with the bumps.
I got this for my Note 9S. Got it for around $3
The build quality is not bad for its price. Its platic blue layer is not loose; will not fall or crack anytime soon. I can trust it if I drop my phone.
The bump between the case and the screen isn't quite deep so its recommended to use a thin screen protector.
In contrast, the camera bump is good even with a glass protector applied.
The ring can be used as a stand for portrait (only one angle) and landscape (two angle but one is a little bit unstable)
It does make the phone a little bit thick but its not something that will make it bulky when I put it on my side pocket.
Already collected some cases for my phone
- Ringke Fusion X, this is also good for best protection with slim profile
- Spigen Liquid Clear
- Spigen Tough Armor, by far best rugged case for note9pro
- Spigen Rugger Armor
It's Nillkin, you can slide for covering camera.. ,really nice, I want to buy it... ???
I've got this one.
No idea who is manufacturer.
It costed about 6,7 € (7,7 USD)
If you want quality then i suggest you go for Spigen or Ringke case. I've bought one of spigen case for my samsung galaxy s7 and it's still solid (not getting soft like cheap case) even after 1 year.
I got this case, costs around $2. Covers the camera too. Fits quite nice.
I got a Spigen case off eBay, its saved my phone from many drops. Would definitely purchase Spigen cases again whenever I change phones.

which spigen case are you referring to? I'm also looking for a case that I can use aside from my ringke fusion
