like i said i have an lg p500
i used custom rom RESSURECTION-2.0 android version 2.3.X (some gingerbread) NO cyanogen
i was playing final fantasy 3,after 15-20 minutes, my phone's screen suddenly turnd black
i could see that the screen was ON but it was black light
i waited a long time... no changes... then i put out the battery and turn on the phone
it booted and i was att lock screen, i was happy untill....
i tryed to unlock the screen, but the touchscreen doesnt react at all !!!
when the screen gets darker and i press the screen anywhere it didnt increased luminosity and of course just turnd off the screen.
it reacts to buttons, but touchscreen 0%
then i used KDZ updater to install original STOCK ROM 2.3.3 gingerbread (v20_.... .kdz) it installed, but didnt boot well, after recoverymode (not clockworkmode, it was erased) it did boot.
so the stuck rom 2.3.3 gingerbread was booted, and i was att the lock screen, still touchscreen DOESNT RESPOND/WORK
so i searchd for a solution and some people repaird this flashing stock 2.2, so i did try, but couldn't even FLASH, doesnt work
so i tryed to flash back to 2.3.3 STOCK ROM, so i did, BUT KDZ gave an error
now for the fun part THE BIGGEST PROBLEM
i cant turn ON phone/cant go in emergency mode/cant go in bootlop/cant go in fast boot/cant go to recovery mode, and so on....
it wont turn ON in any meaning....
and allso if i plug it to my PC with USB , the charger icon WONT APPEAR, neither does it if i plug in the normal charger
it seems completely dead to me....
any1 please help
(currently i removed SD CARD AND BATTERY so that maybe that will solve something more or less)
I'm sorry for you but I think that for the first time I'm reading about an optimus one really bricked!
About touchscreen problem maybe you just ruined the screen itself(hardware problem) and as your phone isn't even booting or even turning on maybe you can retry kdz but i dont think it'll work cauz the computer won't recognize the phone. So sorry for you!! Good luck!

bring it to a repair shop

thanks for advice
( im so sad about it
any1 knows about how much it would cost to repair?
+ repairing power button (it works kinda hard, i have to press it with more pressure)
It was only touchscreen hardware problem which could only cost u a $15, but u make it to dead phone.. damn!!!
Full charge ur fone, try to boot & try kdz again! If still fails,
Go to nearest service center .. they can only help u

I tryed to pull out the batery wait for 3 minutes and put it back bu nothing unitl now. I push the power button, i am trying to go on hBOOT pressing the power + volume down but nothing happens. Cane you please help me?! I tryied everyhting and don't know what do do. Thank you
charging from custom recovery tends not to work so if the battery is flat you may have to get an external charger.

the top solution is option one... but if the external charger is more expensive just buy a new battery... if possible borrow somebody's batt and test first...
''Recovery''
I fixed that thanks god!!! But now another problem starts.. i turn on the phone and restarts over and over after the green sign. I can't access recovery also. I tried to install a recovery putting this file: PG58IMG in to Memory card and then install but no success it does the same I can't access recovery at all. When i try to access it my phone restarts the same when i try to turn it on. If someone one know what to do please tell me...thank you
You should be able to access recovery if you pull the SDcard before booting
Thanks for the tip mate, i will try this and tell you how did it go..
it doesn't ! I tried but when i choose recovery it shows me the Android Green Screen, a black screen after and then phone shuts down !!! Thanks anyway
Where did you get that PG file from?
Matt
This may help or not, but you could always see if it's recognised by your PC when you try and boot into the Bootloader using Volume Down + Power. It seems odd that it would refuse to get into the Bootloader and go straight to the green HTC logo.
My rationale is that if it is successfully does get recognised by your PC, then you could attempt to use ADB to breathe life back into your device, if not at the very least get some information about what seems to be the problem.
It's a bit vague, I apologise. A little more research on my part is needed I guess. (new to these forums, just trying to help!)
Hope this helps.
try reflashing the recovery
I-ve tried alreadz to flash mz recovery but don't know what fits better because when i go to recovery adn try to install something my phone crashes already ! :*(
Hello All , I think i have just bricked my phone.

I Have The Same Problem Exactly and i don't know what to do :/
I Have The Same Exact Problem ._.
they say if it doesnt boot recovery and download mode then it is hard bricked already which more or less likely a paper weight.

Have you guys tried a hard reboot by removing the battery for 15 or 20 seconds & then just popping it back in and powering on? My MT4Gs did something very similar when rooting and that's all I had to do to fix it. Good Luck!
i tried every single thing i could do but nothing happend.. i sent it already to the selling point but i think they wont fix it for free because its rooted
Hello to everyone and respect to all you developers for your hard work!
as you can see i'm noob but i'll try not to be too noobish.
here's the situation.. now, i have hephappy's CM9 bluepill rom installed in my lg p500 and it works just perfect (i mean it,just perfect),
and before that i have flashed custom rom's couple of times with success but once when i tried to boot into emergency mode (vol down+back+power) after that i couldn't get rid of that yellow message every time i restarted or turn on my phone till today.
so, now i'm living with that issue, but it bothers me,i can't understand why yellow emergency screen is showing EVERY time i reboot my mobile.
then i find out that the only way to avoid that is pulling battery out and wait for at least 5 minutes and then switch on (then it's ok - LG logo and blah blah).
but when i try to turn it on for less than 5 mins, emergeny mode will be showing everytime i switched mobile on.
so, i don't have a clue or answer what it could be. i tried to flash stock firmware through KDZ and actually everything seems ok and everything works just fine but that yellow screen still spy on me.
as i said, everything works perfect but when battery is drained or i wanna reboot my mobile i have emergency mode shown,so i must repeat above procedure with pulling out battery for 5 mins everytime.
i hope i didn't complicate this
Try to change RADIO (BASEBAND),maybe it might help you!

yes pal. everything i can remember including booting into recovery with clockworkmod, wiping all data, cache, update with kdz, then root, flash new rom...and everytime everything goes like a glowe, everything is stable, with no errors.
i suppose i'm one of the luckiest lg p500 users when it's about good, stable device, which could be overclocked or tweaked without kernel panic, errors, etc (i heard that differences between same devices can vary).
BUT after all that i have that same issue with yellow emergency mode.
finally, i suppose that yellow screen is the price i must pay at the cost of good stability and great performance
did you try flashing gb stock rom by lgmdp?

I heard about lgmdp, but i didn't found myself interested enough to try it
Because i actualy didn't had any issues excep that yellow screen.so you think it could be helpful?
@darkknight:
It is the only way i can avoid yellow screen by pulling out battery for 5 mins.
I know that my prob is unusal but now i have a lot of apps installed linked with link2sd,so i should find some way to safely backup all that stuff and try to do smtg.

I didnt get the method of flashing rom.. what you said above!!
You root again after updating from kdz.. you have gone wrong somewhere thats why you
get emergency mode everytime you restart.
I would suggest.. clear all the links.. make a nandroid backup. Dont use kdz as its not
required. Go into recovery.. clean everything (specially boot) and flash any rom and see if the problem persists.
which rom and which recovery maybe you can try and change the recovery. I wont reccomend kdz because i flashed it 10-12 times but after that i bricked my phone 2 times while flashing with kdz.
Here it is..
I had official gingerbread used when i found out that cm9 ics was out.then i have wait for stable cm9 rom, till hephappy's premature version.
So,i decided to flash premature,so here is a short procedure..
I don't have exact rooting/flashing guide link right now but i found it on xda forums for p500.
Downloaded short fuse, adb, etc and root via usb & command prompt..everything was ok,device sucesfully rooted,i got superuser.
Next step i installed rom manager from google play and follow flash instructions from xda including nandroid backup, booting to recovery, wiping data, dalvik, battery, everything that could be wiped..then installed premature, gapps, everything goes just fine.
I have been using premature till bluepill cames out.
just before flashing new rom i decided to hard reset via vol up+home+power, but i accidently entered into emergency mode by pressing vol down+back+power instead and after that yellow showing i have issue with it.
Downloaded then stock ginger rom from xda sites (20g),installed via kdz, everything flows fine, rooted againg with same procedure, flashed bluepill rom too with same procedure and still having that yellow emergency mode issue.
I think i made it much more clear

Hey, guys!
First post from me in this forum, although I have been searching for some things for some times.
So, the problem is that I had Cyanogenmod 7.2 on my LG P500 for couple months. And ROM was working ok, but there was some problems and I thought I should get back to stock ROM, because actually it was working better and smoother. So, I searched for stock roms for my phone, found one and started to flash. Everything flashed well, phone booted up and then wave of errors started to come. So I thought that it ain't gonna be usable and tried to install a stock rom through official LG Updater, which obviously wasn't a good thing to do. everything, downloaded, installed, phone booted up and I was waiting with hope that it will boot up (android loading screen at least was showing), but it didn't happen. After that I managed to power phone off with getting battery out and then I tried to fix everything with one tutorial I saw in this forum with kdz updater. but at the begging it couldn't connect with my phone and after that screen showd Emergency Mode. nothing I could do, again took out battery to power it off and now phones doesn't show any signs of life.
What does it mean (maybe my phones is same as brick) and what should I do?
I would appreciate your help.

Plug in the wall charger for about an hour, and then try the buttons - press power button+ volume up button + back button together
keep pressed all three for long duration (maybe 8-10 secs you see yellow screen with written Emergency Mode). Then you are in Emergency Mode.
If no screen yet, then bricked - only LG repair center option.
So, I have a friend's HTC Desire S with me, which won't boot and all it does is 7 vibrations (Fastboot, normal boot). I've searched through this forum as well as the web and found no serious soultion offered. Some say to place the mobile in a fridge and some to put it inside owen. The solutions offered are pretty old, so I'm just checking if there's a permanent solution for this 7 vibration and nothing happens issue. The phone was bricked when an official upgrade from GB to ICS was announced some months before. The update was complete and when my friend removed the usb from the mobile, it bricked. Any help would be much appreciated.
Can you get it into fastboot, can you get adb to recognise it?

Nopes. The phone won't charge, no LED.
I have Desire_S_All-In-One_Kit_v2.0 by Hasoon2000 and when I try to flash a rom or a recovery, the device is not detected!
htc desire s upgrade to ICS fail - unable to recover
I have been facing problem ! I was upgrading my htc desire s to ICS which was previously running on gingerbread. I had downloaded the RUU from htc dev website. Half-way through the process, the application stopped running on my PC. Ever since then my phone won't turn on. I am not able to recover the device. The PC is unable to detect it and I'm not able to charge it.. (the LED won't turn on). I also tried to turn it on by holding the power button and the volume down button together but it still won't turn on. Is there anything I can try before I send it to the htc service center ? Is it fixable at all ? The phone was in perfect condition before I tried to upgrade it. I would really appreciate any help in this regard..
