Hello All , I think i have just bricked my phone.
This is what i did
Go it rooted. installed clockworkmod.
Tried SD partitioning
Phone shutdown and never started again.
Now when i try powering on , it just vibrates first( as ususal) but nothing more(just blank screen with no backlights)
Can i get it back, if so how?
Please help. Thanks in advance
I Have The Same Problem Exactly and i don't know what to do :/
I Have The Same Exact Problem ._.
they say if it doesnt boot recovery and download mode then it is hard bricked already which more or less likely a paper weight.

Have you guys tried a hard reboot by removing the battery for 15 or 20 seconds & then just popping it back in and powering on? My MT4Gs did something very similar when rooting and that's all I had to do to fix it. Good Luck!
i tried every single thing i could do but nothing happend.. i sent it already to the selling point but i think they wont fix it for free because its rooted

I installed ROM manager on my 2.3.6 gingerbread rooted SGM and clicked back up ROM. The device went totally dead and it wont show ANY signs of life whatsoever. So pressing any of the buttons combo wont work. The phone seems to be dead for real. I did manage to make Odin detect it even if the device seems to have no power and looks like its turned off. But it will not let Odin establish connection to it to flash a new OS on it.
Is there anything I can do? Have anyone solved this brick by now since is see a lot of people having this issue?
Can you pull the battery.

Like how? I have pulled the battery out and put it back in with no result. Or did you mean to pull it out in a certain manner?
Ok, Does the battery charge when plugged in? Do you have another battery?
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
No,the phone is totally dead. Like as if it would have no battery in. None of the button combos won't work on it. But if i press the emergency download mode button the Odin detects the device even if it seems dead,so the phone is alive i guess. But when i start Odin it starts the tread but get stuck on connecting.
All I know is basic trouble shooting,
I know Moto won't flash with out a good charged battery. Is there a forum for your phone here. Or try googling oden for info. Sorry i can't help more.
Good Luck

As far as I have read so far my motherboard needs to be replaced. Tis is a ultra hard brick. People that got their galaxy mini bricked by ROM manager had to visit service center.. Hope they can't find out what happened. Thx for the replies!
Good reason to not use rom manager

My phone is so hard bricked they couldn't fix it at customer service, they said they had to send it to another service, because it has a complex error. I keep my fingers crossed they can't find out what happened.
Got the phone back after 4 days, motherboard replaced, free of charge.
brick?
Hello.
i,ve installed rom manager and tried to make an backup of my rom.
my phone turned black and now its useless
anyone knows how to fix this ( galaxy mini gt s 5570 gbread 2.35 rooted)
i've tried to use odin but got no idea how to use it
anyone can help me?!!?
(phone has still 1 from the 2 years of warranty is this still valid or is it gone because of the root?)
It's hard bricked, you can do nothing, it's no use. Get it to service center saying that you dropped it and it wont turn on. dont say that you rooted your device. I've had this hardbrick too.
took it to the service center now waiting for them to fix it they said it could take several weeks.......

I'm having the same problem...No bootloader...Nothing :crying:
Nexus S GT-I9020T Bricked
similar problem here. i took the batery out while the phone was booting and cant switch it on now.cant get in to fastboot mode (power + vol up).
i tried AdamOutler's UnBrickableResurrectorR40 tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1397393). it didnt detect my phone, so i made the hardware mod recomended by AdamOutler ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1566475). Now it detects the phone and it is able to load the modified SBL.But the phone still stays dead.
why dont u guys try the tool and let us know how it goes... cheers

yes,any mod can't in.
similar problem
My battery fell out while my phone was booting. (Bought a spare battery and it didn't make great contact and the phone turned on and then lost contact with the battery while it was booting.)
I've tried multiple battery pulls, charging both batteries, plugging it in and unplugging it, different chargers... Nothing works.
I bought this phone used without a warranty so I'm screwed for just taking it back to any store to get it fixed and I can't afford to buy a new phone. :/
Gonna try that Ubuntu fix when I get home but as for now I have no idea what I'm going to do to fix this phone... >_<
I have Alcatel OT-995 Telenor Smart HD,ICS 4.0.4,and its in good condition, rooted, and work properly(not in all cases).I have i problem with going in recovery mode,i tried going via CWM Recovery and with volume up+power button, but still no effect,i mean,it just bricks or don't know what but some dead android guy with opened stomach and exclamation mark, and freezes there. Then i must put out my battery and then put it back in and do the factory reset, and i really hate that.I really wanna put some higher version or some custom ROM,to free up RAM which is not so good(about 342Mbs i think),and half and more of that is going literally to nothing and some little Google Play Services, and i tried RAMEXPANDER,and it stills brick,or when its no half way of swapping it just restarts with no reason, and camera is sometimes not responding, and it restart then.I really need some solution, its so annoying to come at the end with that phone. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist This thread may help you in solving your issues Alcatel OT-995 development
Good Luck!
I had to make a thread, trying to get help.
I think i installed dualrecovery twice. The phone was rooted and bootloader unlocked. I could not get into recovery mode so i, foolishly, installed recovery again.
After that, this xperia z3 is in a bootloop. It goes to sony screen then turns off and repeats rapidly. It heats up if i let it go too long.
I tried holding the volume and power button, it vibrates 3 times, but continues the loop after.
Anyone know of anything that can fix this, maybe if i can turn it off, i can flash firmware? Is it bricked?
Thanks for any replies, very much appreciated.
Edit 1:
The phone magicly powered off, i think the loop stopped when the battery died. Now i can flash firmware, which is good. I will report back after it's charged and see if everything is fine.
Edit 2:
Yep, it's fine, my friends. Phone is reset and ready to be abused again.
Give me thanks if this thread helped you, ty. hehe

I dont think its hard bricked. So, my phone stopped the restarting loop somehow. I think the battery died then it stopped or something.
But the phone is now off and i am flashing firmware to it as i write this.
So if you can get your phone to power off somehow, and stop looping, follow the advice on this thread on how to flash soft bricked devices:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/hard-bricked-z3compact-t3133185
So someone gave me a bricked Sony experia z5, i believe that's what it is. When i plug in a charger the red light comes on but i cannot turn on the phone. i tried holding the power off button next to the sim slot for 10+ seconds but that didn't help either. I also tried holding the power on button with the volume down to no avail. I did some googling and found im not the only one with this issue. Altough advice was hard to find i managed to find a video about the same issue on a z3. As in the video i opened up the phone, reconnected all of the connectors. I left the battery connector out, then plugged it in and try to start it. Still didn't work.
I have never used a sony phone before and i have no idea what i should do next, i hope someone has advice for me

i have tried using flashboot but it cannot detect my device. I honestly have no clue what happened to it. I read somewhere that it has some battery bug so i will leave it charging for a very long time. also its the experia m5, not the z5 i found out.
@marceltjeg then wrong forum mate go to that one you may have more people to help you out
