[SOLVED] Problem with recovery and root - HTC Sensation

Hi all, I have a problem with my Sensation.
I flashed the original Vodafone ROM for my phone because I have a lot of random reboots with other ROMs. But when I did that I remove the recovery and root and I want to have it again. My phone is S-OFF, but I don't know what to do to have root again, and I don't know if I have the bootloader free (or something like that)
Can anyone help me please?
Sorry for my bad English, I'm Spanish. And thanks for reading.

Just to confirm and no break something. You told me that I need to do that, right?
Basically Download that file named PG58... and then do the STEP 4. Updating the firmware (but using the recovery file) and STEP 5. Removing the PG58...
You have explained it perfectly, but as you can see, my english is so bad and I just want to confirm the information to skip some brick device...

U wont brick ur phone. Just download the PG58IMG.zip, put it on the root of ur sdcard (not in a folder) boot into bootloader, bootloader will find the file and ask to update recovery (select yes) let it finish and u will have 4ext recovery installed. Once thats done, delete the PG58IMG.zip off ur sdcard coz everytime u enter bootloader it will ask to update.
Then just boot into recovery and flash the superuser.zip (posted above) and ul be rooted

OTA Update. Over S-off?
Is that even possible
But if it's radio (or network) related issue. It must be region problem.
You can try to use custom rom (like ViperS)
But I hope someone with simpler solution can help you

Just paste it at pastebin.org and take out the http part in URL.
By the way, I did a comparison of the original boot.img and the new boot.img through the kitchen, and the ramdisk size is wrong. See attachment. I will look into it later, I'm busy right now.

Yes, Google may have updated the boot.img creation code in the Android 4.2 source code, or it is a bug in the kitchen. A workaround would be to replace the boot.img in your ROM zip with the stock boot.img. I will investigate later this weekend.
Actually I am wrong with blaming the ramdisk size. It has been a long, long time since I've done anything with kernel/boot.img modification LOL. You could be adding files to the ramdisk folders when modifying the boot.img, and it would grow in size, which is fine.
The main thing is that the kernel and ramdisk load addresses are the same as before. Otherwise we would have real problems.
I would request someone to test by using the stock boot.img in the ROM to make sure it's not an issue with the modified boot.img.
I will try now

[ROM] CN Mod V2 for F350/S/K/L and D838

I believe this is the first custom rom out for the G Pro 2. Works on the F350 and D838. All you need is a rooted device.
Based of latest D838 V10D firmware
Stock LG Boot logo. No SK Telecom, Olleh or U+ boot logos
Unbranded
No Korean text anywhere!
pre-rooted. Optimized rom for better (lower) memory use.
Speed tweaks.
Battery tweaks
Menu UI height reduced by 50%
No SMS limit
Removed Korean audio files.
Added Note 3 sound library.
Download and installation instructions
Doesn't work on D838, as root is needed for this flashing process to work, and there is no root for the D838 currently

How did you brick it? I flashed this no issues. You just have to go slwo step by step. It will just be a softbrick, boot.img will be intact. Download mode: Remove the battery or power of the phone. Hold volume up while inserting your USB cable that is connected to your PC.

*** This MOD is used for CN Mod V2 only ***
Unzip all the 7z and you will get below folders.
Connect the G Pro 2 with USB debug mode on, open the folder (A-I) and
execute .bat file, and your G Pro 2 will reboot after done.
You can also preview the battery icon first by opening the png file.
You can flash back to original style by flashing "原版电量".

I see what he said, I'm just letting you know that sometimes it doesn't work in recovery. And adb commands will never do not work in fastboot.

Indeed I tried that, into TWRP file browser I navigated to "/proc/last_kmsg" and I found folders with numbers and others but not a file named like that.
Edit 1
I will try to do it again, lets what happen. ?
Edit 2
Not success, I cant find a file named "last_kmsg"

Where are you stuck? in Boot Logo?, if you dont speak english try to use google translater and explain your problem.
Try to turn off your device and later press Volume - and Power it suppose to get you into BootLoader, after that you can reboot into recovery and flash another ROM or your Backup, I hope you did one.
Luck!
Thank
thank you very much, hope to see with android 4.4.3 + Sense : Bueno:

huawei y6 pro tit-u02 flashing recovery size is too large

Hi everybody
i've unlocked my bootloader and i was trying to flash a custom cwm recovery
following this rooting method
but after unlocking the bootloader i can't flash the recovery due to 'size is too large' error
[btw]-> the phone returns back to the fastboot screen after unlocking ..
so i tried to reboot it manually and return to fastboot menu but the same problem goes on ..

It requires having a JTAG device to do it. I meant send it to a repair shop that has the equipment for a JTAG service.

That has nothing to do with the issue that this thread is about. Recovery is not flashed onto the microSD card, it's flashed on internal memory, so a larger SD card won't help.
You need to learn some more before giving advice.
