[Q] Synergy Rom Update for I535 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I am using build SynergyROM (r484) for the Verizon i535, Baseband I535VRBMB, Android Version 4.1.2 with the Ziggy Kernel released in April of 2013.
Are there any new updates for this or will there be? :fingers-crossed:

I see that this is your first post so, congratulations! However, these types of questions are best suited to be in the development thread itself. Now, in order to post there, you need to have met certain requirements (I forget if it is post count or thank-count). Nonetheless, there are many places to help you meet those requirements.
Back on to your question, I am not sure myself (as I am stayin' stock for now). Normally, out of respect for the developers who willingly spend their time and effort to give to the community, members vow to never ask when something will be released or updated.

Synergy is alive and kicking. No new updates as nothing 'new' has come out that synergy doesn't already have.
Remember, you can search the synergy development thread using your computer browser 'search this thread' for synergy related questions.

[Q] Most Stable Custom ICS Rom??????

What is the most stable custom rom that is ics 4.0. Im using ressurection 9.3 and everything works after screwing around with bits and pieces but everything works. Anybody know any others??
The answer to this question varies greatly for each device. The availability of display drivers, number of devs working, saturation of phone in the marking (ie. demand for a ROM) all play huge factors, not to mention kernels.
This would be a better question in your device's development forumn (or at least the device's general forumn)

Definitely the device's Q&A (if it has one), NOT development. Questions don't belong in the dev forums, and we don't want to start him off with bad habits, do we?

We were all noobs once
General forums are for discussion, Q&A forums are for questions and development forums are for people to release software.
This is a good video for new members as it covers a lot of things that long-standing members wish everyone knew.

You have not mentione your Device -make /model, i have tested most of the ICS version available on internte for my SGS i9000 and found that "MyICS Ultimate" is the most stable and fast ROM with best battery backup. Recommended - if you have SGS i9000.
Thanks

clean rom 2.6 / ruu 1.88 - Rogers wifi hot spot not working

Hi, i have the cleanrom 2.6 with the latest radio (ruu 1.88) on a Rogers network.
I realize that the cleanrom is based on an AT&T ROM and they dont allow any form of tethering unless you have a seperate plan whereas Rogers does without a seperate plan.
I have tried all the available hacks without success . Any insight would be great.
Thank you
Maybe you should ask in the ROM thread to see if anyone else has the same issue?
I thought about posting this in the development section but i always thought that the development section was for developers and feature requests where done in the other sections.

Starting a NEW thread in Development asking questions is a no-no. Asking questions or posting bugs/issues in the particular ROM thread is fine. scrosler in particular is awesome about answering questions and trying to fix issues on his ROM threads.
I think another user was asking about Rogers and tethering on the CleanROM SE thread.

Thanks for the clarification. I will head over to the development section.
I just posted a tutorial on how to fix this....

current OS version

I'm confused, what is the current OS version for the GS3, is it 4.1.2 or 4.2?
This post should have been made in the question and answer section.
The answer to your question is yes.
Officially this phone should be running the 4.1.1 jelly bean update that Verizon dropped a couple months ago.
There is a 4.1.2 unofficial build that was leaked by Samsung or Verizon.
There are also a ton of 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 ROMS available that are open source based. These ROMs are in no way affiliated with Samsung And might not have everything working perfectly.

modem

Just wanted some input im running mb1 baseband on beans 18 build I was going to flash mf1firmware just remember reading complaints on the f1 baseband just wanted to make sure theres no downside to flashing f1 right now I have great signal , and can I flash back if I do flash the f1 firmware
Sir. You have 31 posts. Why not just post in the dedicated thread in the development section to get an answer more easily for your question (which is in the wrong section btw) instead of making a whole new thread in general? I would understand if you had less than 10 posts but you don't. And I'm pretty sure in that thread there is multiple discussions about modems and such. You've been a member for almost a year and 2 months. You should know better. But to answer your question, there have been different reports about MF1. Some good some bad. If you already have good signal don't change it IMO. But if you want to test it out you can always flash back if your signal worsens.

CleanROM Thread closed ?

.......... I see that Scott has retired but his CleanROM 8.2 can still be downloaded, I also see that thread is locked, I understand he will no longer be giving tech support but many of us still use CROM8.2 and could help those with problems with it. Is it OK to open a CROM 8.2 thread again for just tech support? Not sure of the rulings for doing such a thing so I am asking here.......
That is what's supposed to happen. The development thread isn't for tech support, since he's no longer developing it doesn't need to be open and should be closed.
I'd say ask him over a pm and see if it'll be ok for you to open a Q&A thread for cleanrom or if he'll link one to his development thread. If he doesn't, then I wouldn't bother. I'm pretty sure Scott doesn't like having his rom name used in any titles unless he's directly in charge of it.
Cleanrom doesn't need very much tech support anyway. People can always ask any question they want in a new Q&A thread if they need help.
