current OS version - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm confused, what is the current OS version for the GS3, is it 4.1.2 or 4.2?

This post should have been made in the question and answer section.
The answer to your question is yes.
Officially this phone should be running the 4.1.1 jelly bean update that Verizon dropped a couple months ago.
There is a 4.1.2 unofficial build that was leaked by Samsung or Verizon.
There are also a ton of 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 ROMS available that are open source based. These ROMs are in no way affiliated with Samsung And might not have everything working perfectly.

[Q] icsourcory 3.4

im running the new rom for icsourcory and love it but i was wondering if the dev. can upgrade to jelly bean
Then I would PM that dev or ask in one of his threads. Posting a thread in the General Q&A section hoping he'll randomly see it is a very inefficient way to communicate with him.

[Q] Galaxy SIII OS Version Capability

I cant seem to find anywhere what version of ICS the new Galaxy SIII will be able to upgrade to, anyone?
Considering jellybean is out, I am going to say 4.0.4.
I wasnt aware that it was already out, working to get more knowledgable...What phones is it out on currently?

[Q] How to unlock a Verizon Galaxy s3 to Any carrier?

Good morning guys, i'm new in the forum and i'm going to try to explain what's happening with me.
I came to Canada due an Internship program, and while i was here i bought this Verizon Galaxy s3, well now i have 1 month left here and i decided to Unlock it, took it to where i bought it and they told me that they couldn't unlock it and wouldn't accept it back. well now here I am with this Galaxy S3 blocked and won't be able to use it in My country.
I searched the forum but couldn't find any way to unlock this mobile.
I don't mind rooting it, co's i don't care about the warranty anymore.. so i was wondering if you could help me with this, so I can use any carrier i want.
Can you guys help me with that?
Thank you very Much
Android Version - 4.1.2
Kernel Version - 3.0.31
I have not tried it myself but I did ask in that thread and they said it work for Verizon s3. Try it and let us know if it works, and you don't have to root.

I see that this is your first post so, congratulations! However, these types of questions are best suited to be in the development thread itself. Now, in order to post there, you need to have met certain requirements (I forget if it is post count or thank-count). Nonetheless, there are many places to help you meet those requirements.
Back on to your question, I am not sure myself (as I am stayin' stock for now). Normally, out of respect for the developers who willingly spend their time and effort to give to the community, members vow to never ask when something will be released or updated.
Synergy is alive and kicking. No new updates as nothing 'new' has come out that synergy doesn't already have.
Remember, you can search the synergy development thread using your computer browser 'search this thread' for synergy related questions.
