Hi Folks,
I have modified cLock app from CM 10.1 to be installed on non cyanogenmod ROMs.
The source is available at https://github.com/mammenj/android_packages_apps_LockClock
I have tested on N4 stock ROM only, so if you find any issues please post which ROM, its version and the device details in this thread only.
App requires JB 4.2.x

In CM, you have the option to minimize or maximize the widget.

There were no changes made to Yahoo weather code. Usually, it takes while before weather is updated if this is the first time you are installing this app.
Is the weather showing a question mark? or is it not updating?
btw, what device and rom are you running?

Both showing a question mark and not updating. Same issue with the original CM chronus clock. Running Maddoggin nodded stock 4.2.2.

Thought I would share my version of MIUI with you all
This thread looks bad now but I'll update the thread soon
Features:
- Beats audio on HTC music app
- Sense ringtones + notification sounds
- Based on Sense MIUI V4 3.2.22
- Everything is working (Could somebody please test MHL for me )
- Removed unnecessary MIUI apps
Requirements:
- S-OFF or S-ON with smartflash
- 3.33 Firmware
Changelog:
- 5th March 2013 - Changed kernel to Pyd-X kernel
- 28th February 2013 - Added Youtube HD with advanced settings, Improved beats audio (hopefully), Increased smoothness (hopefully), will upload after college
- 26th February 2013 - Second release - Added control panel, added ES File Explorer, added Kernel Tuner
- 26th February 2013 - Initial release
This is my first release so it's not gonna be perfect. If you find any bugs or anything then please give as much detail as possible.
More features will come later or tomorrow when I have some more time

Yeah its based on sense 3.6 Battery life is good and I will probably improve it at the weekend

I've been using it for around 4h. Let me say this:
It's flawless. Fast, awesome battery life (with 77% atm where usually at this time of the day is around 40%).
Everything works and looks good. Will submit if I find any inconvenient bug :b

Hi G3 users, I have now Ported many Roms for cm7/alpha 9 and instead of starting new threads for each, I have decided to put all in one now....
All these are based on CM7 Alpha 9 (for now, will update to alpha 10/beta 1 when marcel releases it)
IMPORTANT NOTE
1) These Roms include all the remaining bugs of Cm7 Alpha 9
2) If You have any issue with connectivity, replace the telephonyprovider.apk in /system/app with this
3) If you have any calling issue, replace phone.apk with this(Doesnt work on miui)
4) If you have any messaging related issues, you can replace mms.apk with This
5)If MIUIcamera isnt working properly or freezing very often, you can replace miuicamera.apk with this( in case camera isnt working on other roms, you can still replace with this file but rename it Camera.apk
6) If you get frequent FC on keyboard ,replace it with this
7) If your Launcher keeps giving fc, replace it with This
8) For JB style clock replace clock.apk with this(For screens see my S3 rom Screens)
9) If gallery/Quickpic Doesnt Work, pls update/reinstall it
IF you wish to NOT do the above, you can do one easier thing:
-Dwnld the Rom
-Extract it to folder(lets say X)
-you should get 2 folders(Meta-inf and System) and a file(zImage)
-open system--->app
-Now replace the apk from there with any one mentioned above
-return to folder X
-Select Meta-inf , system and zImage ----> Right click ---> Choose 7-zip/Winzip ---> And click ADD TO ARCHIVE
-Now choose format as .zip and type any name which you may like (it souldnt be the same as the rom u have dwnld if the rom is in folder X too)

its just normal porting
I too ported about 8-9 miui roms
Half didnt even boot:crying:
others gave prob except one

They r pretty easy

There is quite good application for tweaking "pimp my rom" of course it has not all possible tweaks but it has enough basic tweaks :thumbup:

In each post, can you mention whether the calling works on each ROM or not? It makes it easier for us and prevents us from wasting time flashing a ROM and realising that calling doesn't work and then we have to modify some apk files etc. If you can, can you also fix calling in the ROMs permanently so we don't have to fix it ourselves?

I guess it works properly in all so far
But in case it doesn't, I provided a tutorial which is easy and hardly takes time
Else I would need to unnecessarily re upload every rom just for a minor defect

All the apps in the ZIP are currently the latest ones from Sony.
NOTES:
- Walkman is just a bare player , it doesn't have visuals nor equlizer , the reason for this is because it would require FLASHING which is something i don't want , the point of all this was simply to install APKS and use it , Tho walkman still works perfectly fine and can be used to control DSP such are : DSP Manager , MusicFX , Viper4Android and so on.
- SocialLifeNews : There are 3 parts in the zip , actually 3 versions , install them by the order 1/2/3.
- World Clock : if you want this one you gotta push it to ''system/app'' or for some devices ''system/priv-app'' and set the permission to "RW-R-R" then reboot , that's it.

Walkman sound effects / movies / SRS / xLoud / dynamic normalizer / Clear Audio + :
- The only way to have WORKING xLoud / SRS / Dynamic normalizer via WALKMAN and MOVIES = Settings > Sound > music effects > sound enchantments If the xLoud starts making CRACKLING NOISE = your speaker can't handle it , the best thing would be to EITHER volume down a bit or change to whatever DSP you're using. If you don't care for these just don't bother even enabling sound enchaments in music effects , everything will work except the sound benefits from sony.
- Lastly don't hold me responsible if xLOUD breaks your speakers lol
- Lyrics Extension will work ONLY if you have your songs CORRECTLY NAMED

BUGS:
- Walkman MIGHT show from TIME to TIME *music album art failed* or something like that.
- Manual sound enchantment from sony via walkman FC for now THO they work just fine and give us the effects ... Anyway i'll try to fix this when i have time.

Yes it does... at least running android 4.4, whit low ram switch off.
Another thing... is it possible to also put the walkman widget?
The widget that I have from another ported xperia launchers does not work whit this one... Thanks in advance
Works on nexus 7 2013 4.4.2, but navbar and status bar aren't transparent, and with the dock background it looks kinda ugly.

it's kinda like that for now , it should be transparent on 4.4 while on 4.4.2 we get that damn black status bar. I managed to fix it but requires older version of xperia launcher which leads into borken widgets so it's better to have black bar and all widgets then none with transparent status bar.
Btw would you guys be interested into z1 4.3 keyboard? (tho it would require flashing )

Here's the z1 keyboard kinda work in progress , but here the snapshots how it looks like.
Anyway if you guys are interested i'll get it working , keep in mind it'll work most likely only on 4.3+ and requires flashing odex/deodex works.

That's too bad, I love the launcher, but the status and nav bar are too annoying.
Hope you can fix it in next version.

I'll see what can be done , it's annoying ! , for example for me on 4.4.2 on the lockscreen i get the transparent nav bar while asap i unlock it it's back to black :banghead:

I'll need a tad bit more info here , 1st it must be in your end since on all other devices works just fine, try for first clearing calendar app data, 2nd it'd be useful to give me some more info like the Android version of the rom you use / device.

I'm using both on daily bases, haven't seen any crash on music player and I use it alot, as for social life.. I've got fc few days ago. It's quiet messy app to port especially cuz of the fact it's not even meant to be on kitkat yet. I guess this will have to wait for kitkat since fc happens randomly not at specific situation.

Well I've got it working, tho it has fc with emotions button and settings, most likely due kitkat, it probably works perfectly fine on 4.3, even with this 2 fcs the keyboard is working perfect in general, only these 2 issues struggle me.
Anyway I'm still thinking whether to post it or not, no one is really asking for it, you can see that via downloads, there's over 1500 downloads no one bothers really to post a feedback or appreciate all of this and hit the "thanks button" isn't really inspiring Lol :sly:

Yes but this device is not known (gsmarena.com says that popularity is N/A aka Not Available) and maybe others want ROMs like MIUI or 4.4 because of custom features. I need a stable ROM so here is it: this ROM is fully stable except YouTube videos not playing on Chrome.
I tried to install the stock official rom but without success. Any help is appreciated.
