Hey everyone
Thought I would share my version of MIUI with you all
This thread looks bad now but I'll update the thread soon
Features:
- Beats audio on HTC music app
- Sense ringtones + notification sounds
- Based on Sense MIUI V4 3.2.22
- Everything is working (Could somebody please test MHL for me )
- Removed unnecessary MIUI apps
Requirements:
- S-OFF or S-ON with smartflash
- 3.33 Firmware
Changelog:
- 5th March 2013 - Changed kernel to Pyd-X kernel
- 28th February 2013 - Added Youtube HD with advanced settings, Improved beats audio (hopefully), Increased smoothness (hopefully), will upload after college
- 26th February 2013 - Second release - Added control panel, added ES File Explorer, added Kernel Tuner
- 26th February 2013 - Initial release
This is my first release so it's not gonna be perfect. If you find any bugs or anything then please give as much detail as possible.
More features will come later or tomorrow when I have some more time
In the future, this rom will be optimised to give the best battery life with great performance.

Yeah its based on sense 3.6 Battery life is good and I will probably improve it at the weekend

I've been using it for around 4h. Let me say this:
It's flawless. Fast, awesome battery life (with 77% atm where usually at this time of the day is around 40%).
Everything works and looks good. Will submit if I find any inconvenient bug :b

I have tried it on Runny and VoidU..
Can gurantee 99% to work , but who knows for the 1%..
give it a try and make sure to backup..every thing will be fine

Ive flashed the virtuos keyboard and boot animation but nothing changed? And when I was flashing the alienware green animation it said instalation aborted, why?

Try replacing the files of the zip you downloaded with the bootanimation installed ..Use ES File Manager
So HTC Desire S receive update to Android 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0

It has the same resolution and screen 3.7"
If some brilliant dev want to port it i think it will be even better then The Sense 3.0 that are already ported from bigger screen devices.

EDIT: Nolonger a modded version of hyperion. that was my 1st attempt at a rom which was called "saga eclipse" just so people don't get confused. Shadow Hawk is built from the latest base, not Hyperion.

The things i have changed so far are:
Default govenor changed to virtuous for wake and conservative for sleep
default wake-max freq set to 998400 mhz
added titanium backup
changed fonts to segio WP
I have removed A LOT of bloatware in this ROM! With the idea of this being a nice clean slate for people to flash, without the need to remove unwanted apps themselves.
and there will be more to follow. This is going to be worked on in my free time so V1.0 has been released today for people to try out. V1.1 is currently being worked on
Bro, any screenshots? I was hoping to see what are the changes on the fonts.. what's the difference between the font that u are using and the one on stock. Thanks.

there are too many to list, but mostly the htc things like htc hub, stocks, facebook, twitter.
New ROM coming soon
Maybe you can add the dspmanager from cm7 to this Rom? That would be amazing!

afaik this need a kernel that supports it before it will work. Maybe i will look into this for a future release

The original work on this is from Lyapota. Check his posts for patches, I know somewhere in the hyperion thread there's a zip containing the fixed patch for the desire S. Don't use the Desire HD original package, or you'll loose audio in outgoing calls.

yes totally the same,just flash it via recovery,but if u r coming from sense rom u should do a full wipe
its really interesting with this amazing theme too,

Not bad. Little dark for me.
Flashed over 1.10.28 no problem. No real speed improvement.
Going back to my backup but good looking rom!
Suggestion: In menus you cant see what the icons are beside the options. Not that that matters, it says what it is, but still...

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for! Was daily driving MIUI, did the ICS beta for a few days and absolutely loved how it looked but really missed the camera. This should hold me over till the bugs are worked out.
So not sure if this is a bug or not but the lockscreen seems to not register where its being dragged into

I think he is referring to the overall sluggishness of the lockscreen...you have to be gentle with it or it will get overwhelmed and not respond until you release and re-touch. The only issue with an overwise great ROM!

Yeah thats what i meant, sometimes you cant drag the circle out to the outer things in order to unlock the phone or open the camera. The middle circle will bounce around the inside but wont drag to the edges. But this rom is definitely awesome, this is my first experience of MIUI and so far i have to say i'm super impressed.

Aside from the lockscreen sensitivity, has anyone encountered where an answered call defaults to speakerphone?
It does not seem to be constant, but every other call or so, i start off on speakerphone. It isnt too annoying, but definitely weird
I have been using this ROM for over a week now. Runs smooth and I have not come across any deal-breaking issues. Great work in putting this together! Look forward to future releases. Thanks Dev!
@kaioshade: I have been using my phone (and this ROM) pretty heavily and I have never had this issue happen to me. Not sure if wiping and reinstalling would help!

Did you install a theme that has its language in something other than English? Try reverting back to the original theme or find one that's translated into English. I've noticed this with the themes on the miui theme app since they aren't in English. Or you can reflash the rom. Hope this helps.

I'm sure if no one else is seeing it then its an overwrite somewhere. Ill do a wipe and reflash. Its not even all websites anyway. Just a weird issue I noticed
