Installation:
1.Wipe data, cache, dalvik
2. Flash Rom
3. Choose TW4 laucher first! Then open script manager and go to /system/app choose Launcher7 and re-install it. (otherwise it will fc)

boot:
- Nice windows logo as boot animation
- Maybe you could add a more windows style sound as boot sound :O
(Nothing other to mention here)
When booted:
- Kinda missing the option to choose W7 Launcher, I should put that in by default, since it's way more W7 like then TW4
- Default (lockscreen) wallpaper is good but also not so Windows oriented.
- Nicely debloated, only saw you forgot Beach.apk
- You added Windows apps which is good
- Performance/Smoothness is good
So my main feedback is that you need to make it more Windows like by default, nice rom tho
what you can do for the launcher error:
make a script in init.d called 00runonce
put this inside inside:

What version do you mean there are like over 10 Metro Themes and they ain´t free.

How To Use Xposed Settings App
1. Open The Xposed Installer
2. Press Install/Update
3. Then click SOFT REBOOT once its done
4. Let it boot up then go back to xposed installer
5. Then click the modules tab
6. Checkmark the xposed app settings
7. SOFT REBOOT again
8. Open Xposed app settings app
9. Choose what app you want to mod
10. Once Clicked, press the off switch to make it turn on
11. change DPI to 160-177 for TabUI
12. Leave font scale, can change if you want to though
13. Set Screen (dp,px) to 800x1280
14. Can set other options to your preference
15. Set orientation to what you want
16. Press Save button
17. Then mod any other apps you want to
18. Then go back to xposed installer
19. And then SOFT REBOOT one last time
20. And make sure you soft reboot instead of regular reboot
21. Lots of steps but its very easy! And worth it!

1.Download ZIP and extras
2.boot to cwm
3.WIPE DATA!!!! if coming from anything but this rom!
4.go to where the zip file is
5.install it and wait
5a. then click disable recovery flash, yes
5b. can fix permissions (recommended but not required)
6. Reboot up, let it sit for a few minutes to let the tweaks start up
7. Then you can reboot again to finalize everything if you want to

I have this flashed from android forums and it's fantastic. However I seem to be running into a weird issue, I can't seem to install inverted apps. They install just fine from cwm but once booted no changes take place. Also, is the bootanimation.zip still located in /system/media? I can't seem to find it using root explorer.
In any case, it's a fantastic rom, ridiculously pretty, smooth and efficient. And now with the source code released it's only a matter of time before even more works comes out of this.

Thanks, in the next update I will have inverted apps in to and also in the new update I have a boot animation in system/media and yes with source code now we can create kernels and also see why Bluetooth isn't working so I plan on releasing the update today in the afternoon..

well all i do would be to change or modify the systemUI icons for the battery, ill probably have a new battery icon in the update

Well alright then here is how I do it, download apk manger v5.0.2 should be in the android development hacking and general after that's downloaded take your framework-res.apk from your system/framework folder then open where you downloaded apk manager then put the apk in the folder that says put apk here for modding and also do the same steps for SystemUI.apk in your system/app folder and then open up apk manger by double clicking on the script.bat file them type in 22 and select framework res then type in 9 and wait then go to the projects where you downloaded apk manager and you will see a folder and then open up res folder then drawable hdpi and you will see PNG files change the ones you wish to then compile it back up in apk manager by pressing 12 I think and as for systemui it won't decompile so for that make sure you have 7zip installed and then double click systemui.apk and open res then drawable hdpi then do the same for the PNG files, hopefully this all made sense!
(An easy way how I get the apk's is put the ROM on my computer then extract it and then go to the right place where the files are or you can use adb pull if you know how to use it)

OTA keeps saying MD5 error, download file invalid. I haven't gotten to trying out the battery mod yet, probably not till Saturday (work stuff) but I will definitely keep you updated. In any case, I'll download the update manually and check it out. You rock.

1- I can't change battery icon. When I try to open 3minit it force closes.
2-Google play services has stopped every I open my phone.

Go to settings app all -3 minit battery clear data
Go to settings app - services google play - clear data force stop or remove
I use app google play update blocker. New services google no stability or battery use. Rom included stability services google. Go to play market setting - no auto update apps

(1) some white text on white background and some black text on black background (cant read the text)
(2) this happens when you open all toggles in notification panel and close the notif panel, then open again notif panel.. notification panel background will be misaligned

Today I'm presenting you my first ROM, Z4 eXPERIence, using the latest Sony UI NXT8 (used by the M4 Aqua and the Z4).
This rom has a special feature, and it's that it's made for both locked and unlocked bootloaders, having both advantages and disadvantages.
In the absence of lollipop for the M2, it's great at least to have their updated UI.
LiTE Edition (3.0) Features:
- Stock based, 18.3.1.C.1.17, Deodexed, rooted, zipaligned and with SuperUserMod.
- Implemented using the theme "Material NXT 2.6" from niaboc79, modded by me.
- Icon pack ported by me to all apps. (So that there aren't any apps with old icons).
- Implemented the 'Update Centre', Launcher (with transparent Google app), Z3+ Live wallpaper, and the Digital Clock Widget from the Xperia Z3, modded to work on M2.
- All apps updated to day 11/07/15, so that we don't have to wait until Google Play Store updates them
- It's more fluid, more stable and the size has been reduced considerably. The system has been optimized the most I could.
- IT DOESN'T USE XPOSED.
- And the recovery included in the rom is PhilZ Touch 6.59.

1. Flat Style Colored Bars, to give a more Lollipopish style to the notifications and buttons bars.
2. GravityBox, configured to decrease the DPI of the button bar to a 75%, apart from the Advanced Poweroff menu and the expandable volume panel.
3. Xperia Xposed, to adjust some tweaks of the launcher, like double-tap to lock the screen, and for the SuperUserMod (Required by the theme).
4. And lastly, even though it's not a module, I also included Xperia Digital Clock Widget from ra3al, for the clock widget on the lockscreen.
- Using the soundpack and the official wallpapers from the Z4 Tablet.
- And the recovery included in the rom is PhilZ Touch 6.59.

What version you should choose?
- If you are looking for a complete rom, with all Sony stock Apps and with an appearance the most similar possible to the Xperia Z4, the you should choose the Complete Edition (2.0)
- But, if you're looking for a stable and fluid rom, and you can go without some not so important features, like colored statusbars and the xposed modules, then you should go for the LiTE Edition (3.0)

Install Instructions: (WARNING: NOT WORKING IN D2305).
- Flash an FTF of the compilation 18.3.1.C.1.17, like this one (https://mega.co.nz/#!GsxWjSzS!vUutnx15R9GjPW-NPjMXld_tNNOvNFjzJ7xMuxFOfmM)
- Root and then install PhilZ recovery using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/xperia-m2-aua-2403-root-philz-touch-t3072833
- Copy the nxt8-z4experienceX_X.zip to your SD-card or Internal Memory. Reboot your device and when you see blue/cyan LED while in the Sony Logo, tap many times the Vol- button.
- Go to Wipe and Format and do a factory reset. After that, go to Custom Format Options and format /system.
- Go back and choose Install Zip, Choose from /sdcard if it is in the Internal Memory or /sdcard1 if it's in the SD.
- Choose the nxt8-z4experienceX_X.zip and install it. After 4~5 minutes it will be ready to go
- If you have a Xperia M2 Dual Sim variant, apply the patch for your device plus the WiFi patch in case it's not working for you. (Thanks to @RTz_GauRaV & @FunSucker for doing it)
- Reboot and, in case you installed version 3.0, install the Base theme update apk normally (via a file explorer).

- And lastly, I've included in the 2nd post a link to a Mega folder with various plugins for the rom, like the Z3 Lockscreen and some mods to systemUI and Framework made by @Dzepar (Thanks m8!).

Known bugs:
- (2.0) Google Play Store always returns an error while trying to install an App. (Error "RPC:S-7:AEC-7 <Serial Number>")
+ It's a very weird and uncommon error, because it's induced by the Google Account.
To solve it, go to Settings, Apps, and in All tab, look for Google Play Framework and clear it's data.
Now look for Google Play Services, clic on Administrate Storage, and, at the end, tap on Clear all Data.
Finally look for Google Play Store and clear it's data. Now reboot your device.
If it has been solved, then that's it.
But if it didn't, unlink your Google Account and Sign in again.
If Play Store is still returning errors like 'Not connected, check your connection', try switching between WiFi and Mobile Data.
Try also to Force close the Play Store.

Starting from version 2.0, I've decided to create a MEGA folder with some tweaks that users sent me over the forums. Just like I said in OP, the rom is opened for any suggestion and, if it's possible, I like to include them, inside the ROM or as, in this case, add-ons.

Ok, I know I didn't modified a bunch of things, but the goal of this is having a rom, or at least a set of mods, for people with locked bootloader, this cannot be compared with the work of erikcas, galaxyfreak and many others!
It's just my contribution for those who can't use those roms, and at least have something to choose from...

Uh, I hate that lockscreen with those stars... But it's the actual lockscreen from the M4, so I will consider it. :silly:
EDIT: Also, seems a little buggy: "-Screen Lock "Password" will not work with this mod. so earlier if u r using Password screen lock mode please change it before installtion.".

That's what should happen actually. While screen is blinking, connect to your pc and open RootXperiaToolkit.
BTW please use the respective thread for questions about the root method

Uh nope, because it will mess up with your actual apps. However, maybe for future updates, I'll try to make it installable without loosing your data

I think it might work, but as I don't have this model I Cannot confirm, so try it
The worse thing can happen is that you have to reflash the entire FTF of the dualsim model
So far, confirmed to be working on: D2303, D2306, D2403 & D2406
