[Q] MediaTek engineering mode default values - Micromax A110

Hey guys,
Im using stock rom of JB V 4.1.1.... I messed up with the engineering mode in headset n loud speaker, could anyone please help me with the default values for the same ...would really appreciate it, the main problem here is the headset volume at 0 stays nil(no sound) and the volume from 1-7 remains constant there is no diminishing of sound or increase in anyway.....

Low Ringtone Volume in GS+

Hi All,
Just bought Samsung GS+ and the ringtone volume is very low (in spite of setting the ringtone volume to max) and I often miss calls. I tried Volume+ from the market but that doesn't seem to increase the call ringtone volume. I think the application works on rooted devices only. Also, found an interesting article on the web. See below. But when I enter the code *#*#197328640#*#* nothing happens. My mobile is running on 2.3.5. Not sure why the code doesn't work
Code:
A) Enter service mode by typing below code on your dialer :
*#*#197328640#*#*
click the following:
[5] AUDIO
[1] NB (VOICE CALL)
Choose Handset, headset, Speaker (which ever you want higher volume)
[1] VOLUME
[1] SRC Speech RX Volume
Change default values and higher the values any number of your choosing, here is an example:
[0]0_lvl : 68
[1]1_lvl : 72
[2]2_lvl : 76
[3]3_lvl : 80
[4]4_lvl : 84
[5]5_lvl : 88 Higher these values to until hear volume improvement.
Is there any hack or tweak so that I can increase the ringtone volume? Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a ton!
i have the same question, i need the right service menu code, the one from the i9000 doesnt work.

I was having the same problem...i was even regretting buying the phone because i cant even go out without seeing like 3 missed calls because the sound is so low!
anyway i am not rooted yet so this is how i did it
go to engineer mode by going to your number dialer and entering the following code without quotes
"*#*#3646633#*#*"
Be sure to enter the * and the # correctly.
if you have entered it right then the phone will automaticaly take you to engineer mode.
the fourth option or so will be "Audio"
click on it and then select Loudspeaker mode
at the bottom you should see something like value is 0-140 and below that Max vol. 0-160
change the max volume from whatever it is to 145 or below. you can go to 150 but the sound quality is bad and even if it sounds good dont do it cause it might damage the speaker. Im doing 145 and its perfect.
once you have decided on the number click set and then try calling your phone up
hope that helped.

[App] Volume +

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TEST.android.lvh
I found this old app still works great on my D802 QB2 with this (HEADSET) setting:
1. Audio Modifications = Enabled
2. Simple Volume Boost = Disable
3. Bass Boost = 8 (max)
4. Echo/Delay = 0
5. EQ Preset = Bass Boost (or others) just make sure to set "Volume Level" to 0
SPEAKER setting only work with this:
1 - 4 same as headset
5. EQ Preset = Flat & "Volume Level" set to 10
need to enable/disable eq preset till this work
BLUETOOTH setting: untested
Nice, but the phone already kills my ears on full volume! (Headphones)
That app was awesome back in the day. Before Viper4android

Best earpiece volume without distortion?

I've been playing with mixer paths and have set some values from 84 to 93 to 98 (not 100).
So far, my bottom speakers would be clear and very loud during a speaker call, but if I later tried to play music, it gets super distorted at max volume and I have to turn it down to about 50%.
What are you numbers that you guys have set for the perfect balance of volume and distortion?
Post those screen shots!
Thanks!

bluetooth control problem

on every speakers i cant control volume from speaker ,when i want to press high or low sound its show bar on the phone control ,sony mobiles do that? on samsung working fine i set max on speaker bluetooth and 7 of 15 music level. and on the phone samsung when set 1 of 15 volume and on bluetooth speaker set max the sound higher than Sony Xperia z3 when set to 1 of 15 sound ,maybe sony phone control automatic speaker sound control ? its weird. latest android firmware.... android 6.0.1
