Hi, I hope this post is in the right section (please move if not).
I have lots of experience rooting and installing custom ROMS on my Samsung i9000 phone, but this will be my first time installing a custom ROM on my TF700T. The tablet is unlocked and rooted and has the latest Android JB version and bootloader (4.2.1, 10.6.1.14.4). I also have TWRP 2.5 installed and working. However, I have a few questions before I start - sorry if these seem really noob.
1. My current SKU in Taiwanese (TW) - do I just use the WW edition without making any changes?
2. I've never used DATA2SD before - do I need to format the SD card and add the /Data/ directory manually, or does the CROMi installation do this for me?
3. The tablet is currently setup for two users (myself and my wife). Does CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6 support mutli-user?
4. If I back up all the current settings using Titanium, do I need to do it in both profiles? Or should I simply do a simgle backup from root?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, R

1. Yes just use the WW. It really dont make a difference but I wouldnt use the US rom unless you are in the US.
2. I have never used DATA2SD but by what I have read, you must use GParted to format the SDcard a certain way in order for the Mod in the CROMiX installer to see it. You MUST use GPARTED, you cannot use any other without risk of more problems.
3. Yes CROMiX supports multi-user. CROMiX is just the stock ROM, but de-bloated and extra tweaks.
4. Titanium will backup all apps. Though I do not use other users, I would think if you back it up from the Owner User, it would back up everything, but I do not know if the owner can access other users info though.

I can answer the 2nd question, You need to do all the partitioning and formatting on your PC (under Linux preferably) with GParted, CROMi does not do the preparation. As noted in the following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1962507.

No problem, as long as you have adequate command of the English language, which you do seem to have.

Just make the two partitions, and follow the prcedures to the letter. Your ROM will do the rest.

I haven't tested this, but since it is based on Android 4.2 it should work (it provides exactly the same functionality as the stock ROM, so if stock does it, CROMI(-X) does it, too).

Wow. Thanks very much for the very quick replies. I'll use your info and get installing today.
Thanks again!
You may find this useful. It discusses backing up multiple user accounts in 4.2 with superuser (assuming ChainsDD but could be CWM) and TB. How this works with other superuser apps (superSU, superuser X) is TBD. Here is the key finding:
sbE said:
Non-Primary Users CAN get root access. I used superusers multi-user Mode (owner controlled) and TiBa gets root access on my secondary users. Without superusers multi-user feature TiBa doesn't get root rights...i tried it...

I was also wondering about DATA2SD. OP did you format your SD card and get it to work? When you install ChromiX it asks you if you want to install Data2SD. Will that option not work if you dont have your external SD card formatted correctly?

Yes, you have to correctly format and partition your external SD with Gparted for Data2SD to work.
Read the forums before you do this. Data2SD can be a mine field and does not give you the performance boost it once did IMHO.

For the love of God use GPARTED to partition it seems a long effort to go but using any other will and has done to me broke my micro SD.

Hi, sorry for the late reply... I haven't been checking back on this post. To answer your question... in the end I chose not to install DATA2SD option. I did successfully install CROMi-X 4.6.1 and everything is working really well - browsing with Chrome is amazingly fast compared to stock!!!
The only problem I've found so far is with some of my Play Store Apps not being able to load - there were a couple of apps that installed just fine on Stock Asus JB (latest version 4.2.1) but under CROMi-X they say they are incompatible with my device. I guess it probably has something to do with the DPI being used (I used the 213 DPI which was default selection during the CROMi-X installation). Might check this out in the developer thread.
Cheers, R
I've updated the boot loader in the first post of the CROMi-X thread to include the latest TW boot loader now.
Also it seems the multi-dpi version of the play store I am using has some issues showing all compatible apps. I have an alternative version to test which will hopefully resolve this and then I can release a patch.

What is the ultimate goal? Will you be flashing a custom Rom or a kernel? I would say that you should get any OTA updates first and then there will be a way to root and get additional features. Check out this guide to help you see a potential order to take, using CWM 3.2.0.0 R4c (recommended as made specifically for Xoom) and the Universal Xoom Root zip which can be used for all Xooms/all updates. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1249798

Well, the proper kernel is included in the rom. If you are on that update, you could also flash Tiamat Rom one.zero. That was a nice, stable rom.
I'm not sure what you are saying about the sdcard and settings app crashing...could you explain more?
Thats what happens:
When i go to settings-> storage (the place where you can see how much space is used) it crashes.
Can you say anything about cifs.ko in "morey"?
but overall it seems to run good, so i think I'll wait til the problems with the market in 2.2.2 are solved before i flash it.
thx
edit:
i got the same problem as jkumda here(last post):

I Proudly Present the first Custom Rom available for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5113)
What is this you ask:
This is a slightly modified version of the most current stock ROM available for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5113).
Notice for CleanRom v1.0 users:
The update instructions are below the installation instructions. Updating to the newest version will NOT remove any of your settings or data as long as you do not Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
Changlog:
Code:
Version 1.1:
1. Moved Dropbox to Data so it can be removed
2. Removed SuperSU and added Superuser to resolve some issues.
3. Added download containing removed apk files (See details below)
Features so far:
-Stock, Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned
-Removed a bunch of bloat applications
-Removed crap bookmarks
That's about it.
Pre-requisites:
1. You must have the custom recovery installed from the Rooting thread. (If you are going to install this you do not have to install the root zip file, this rom is already rooted.)
Installation Instructions: (Update instructions below)
1. Download to external sdcard
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Make a nandroid backup Highly Recommended
4. Data Wipe/Factory Reset REQUIRED for new installations
5. Flash Rom
6. Reboot and enjoy
Update Instructions:
1. Download the latest version to your external sdcard
2. Reboot to recovery
2a. Looks like you may need to wipe data (Some people are reporting issues with Wifi if they do not wipe data.)
3. Flash Rom
4. Reboot and enjoy
Flashing the rom on my device takes about 1.5 minutes or less, but the first boot will take about 2.5 minutes, and then another 30 seconds or so to format the applications. After the first boot it will boot up much faster.
Further Information:
Since this is basically a very minimally modified version of the stock Rom there is no need to post screenshots.
Removed Apps:
Below in the download section you will find a zip file containing all of the apk files that have been removed from stock during the process of building this Rom. Some of them will allow you to simply install, but other will require a little more effort:
To install apks manually that will not install themselves you will have to do the following:
1. Move the apk file to the /system/app/ folder with a root enabled file explorer
2. Reboot you tablet.

I am not really sure if it will or not since I only have the P5113. Do you know what the difference in the P5110 is?

Took a quick look at a spec sheet and the only thing I noticed was that it looks like the P5110 might not have the IR?

Regional stuff only, I think, but if there are firmware files that differ between countries because of wifi channels, etc, it could be a problem. Never mind, I'll try it anyway. Might steal vendor files from a backup made before the flashing of your ROM.

If I had to guess I would say that you are targeting the wrong framework. Make sure you are targeting framework 15.
Regarding tools, I use Android Kitchen, but I DO NOT allow it to convert my updater-script to an update-script. Basically this means I can only use a few of the features of Android Kitchen:
1. Deodex Files
2. Zipalign
3. Create and sign zip
You may be able to use a few more things without the update-script, but I had troubles anytime I let Kitchen create it.
If you need more help create a thread in the Q&A forum and PM me the link. That way others will have a better time finding the information.
Clean ROM test results
Before you install the Clean ROM v1.0, know the following:
1. You MUST do a factory/reset in CWM5 (the CWM you install from my OP)
2. Factory Reset will NOT delete EVERYTHING on your external SD card
3. Installing Clean ROM V1.0 will NOT damage your CWM5.
4. I personally tested the Clean ROM V1.0 today. Runs smooth and it has some of the "bloatware" that can't be removed from the standard stock ROM. I detected an ever-so-slight improvement in smoothness & speed.
5. This ROM has NOT been tested on ANY Tab2 other than GT-P5113 at this time.
Bottom Line: We have our first SAFE custom ROM for the Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113.
Thank you sgrant !

My mistake. When I tried to access my external card using Astro File Manager it said the card was 100% blank and not even formatted. Removed SD card from Tab, plugged into my desktop PC and saw that all my files/data is still on the external SD card. I have corrected my posts accordingly.

Just flashed my tf700 with CROMIX and it has made it into a new device. I've now started looking at my TF101 as well. It had pretty much ground to a halt, but I did a reset and it is now running as it was when new (running last stock asus rom). My TF700 was pretty much unusable so the new rom was a no brainer, but the tf101 is working fine, so not sure of the benefits?
Is it worth putting a rom like Katkis (4.3 or 4.4) on? What benefits/downsides will I see? Thanks in advance
In a word, Yes. Very much worth it.
KatKiss gives the TF101 a new lease of life, Im running KitKat 4.4.2 KatKiss #17 and it is a flying machine
I don't use my TF101 much at all, it only comes out when on holiday or ocassional lazy day at home. You don't exactly need a speed demon for music, movies, mahjong, book reading, email or web browsing.
That old saying of - "if it ain't broke don't fix it". But whilst I don't NEED the latest and greatest, the geek in me WANTS to stay at least semi up to date.
There are some dedicated and clever devs out there and I've been happily using KitKiss for just over a year.
Downsides? None that i can think of.
Benefits? A warm fuzzy feeling you've just put fresh life to an old forgotten child that was once your pride and joy.
Absolutely - Revolution HD 3.6 is a stable, fast albiet older 4.0.03ROM that performs excellently on the TF101. Y

You should try KatKiss, you'll not know what hit your TF if you're still rocking an ancient ICS ROM
I used megatron, revolution, eos, kk 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4
If you want lots of features/customization go with 4.2 as it has loads of that.
KK 4.3.1 is better than 4.2 IMO but has fewer customization and features.
KK 4.4.2 is the fastest of the three but lacks some customization because it's new.
It also lacks the Tablet UI (only Phatlet UI) that google ditched (I don't care cause I switched to Phablet long ago).
Thanks all for advice. I took the plunge and went with kk 4.4. It ran well, bug i had issues with sd card mounting (now fixed in r18) and also had wifi issues with the connection dropping out. I have now gone to kk 4.3 and am seeing how that runs. Have to say that it is very much a learning experience as previous versions of android have always been asus, even cromix is based on asus core. Never really sure if something is missing, asus specific or has been dropped by google (ie disk mounted icon in. status bar isn't in kk4.3, but is on cromix 4.3).
I will certainly persist to see what happens.
KatKiss 4.2.2 #226 is probably the most stable bug free version so far imo if you're looking for stability over new features, very fast and smooth, I don't remember having any issues with that ROM at all, and it comes with the Tablet UI option
Thanks Detection - I did just that. Got KK 4.4 running and after a few startup issues it seems to be working well. Will try a few other versions. Appreciate the recommendation.
tempted...
I'm on EOS 4.2.2 (whatever is in my sig I think) and it's been working really really well. I'm hesitant to try KK4.4 as things have never been better. I'll hold on a little longer until I feel that desire to tweak is too much to overcome.
If anyone has thoughts to persuade me, I'd like to hear it.
Cool! I was just going to ask for this myself after seeing there's not much activity on the TF101 branch for CM. Trying KatKiss now
Well if you are feeling adventurous, you could install Linux on it and transform it into a fully capable computer instead of just an Android tablet. Currently there is the rootbind kernel that allows you to dual boot
twrp 5.6 from play store
Hi all, (pardon my grammar, i am from the netherlands, aka Holland)
newbie here with tablet flashing.
I have been reading to long and thus to much i guess youtube showed a lot to, to people allready having a base on these things...
So i see many trees, so many, that i can not see the forrest through them.
I downloaded twrp form google play, thats not 2.6, but 5.6 (and called 'manager' this is not the same as the 2.6 version, thats not 'manager'?)
or so
Also i got goomanger , goo.im ? sounds like that.
Dragged (from windows) the downloaded KatKiss-4.4.2_019.zip and gapp something something
in to the root of allready rooted tf101 (that i learned and did in i guess 30 minutes)
started the app : twrp > install > the zip file... nothing. Stop, reboot, still on stock 4.0.3
goomanager, install rom, then appears direct the message "no goomanager folder", seeking for that i did not find where or how the goo manager should be or made, or named.
Also, and logical, much is dated in early 2012 for the asus transformer tf101. So broken links, other tool versions, time alwayss advances.
To bad, not many advanced 'end users' will get to a good start anywhere, all i found was texts from people with to much experience.
To make it short and simple, things like Starting how to's with : flash so you have root. Then download rom X, and flash it with (you name it) and oh yeah, set debugging ON."
I hope someone can direct me to a how to, with step 1 and many, not the ones i found, so for newbies, not for those knowing the base of these things.
I have root acces now.... yeeeee... i do not use these app's, well yes, 2 now, but they did not upgrade my tf101 to katkiss android 4.4.2..

Hi, Twrp manager from playstore is a "manager" for TWRP Recovery using openrecoveryscript. Don't use it to flash katkiss android 4.4.2 coming form ICS 4.03 stock.
At fisrt you have to flash the TWRP Recovery. You can flash it with easyflasher or goomanager (if you're root) : Open GooManager > 3 dots menu button top right > "Install OpenRecoveryScript".
Once you have successfully flashed TWRP, you can flash any ROM you like from TWRP Recovery by booting into recovery
(Volume Down & Power until white text appears at the top of the screen, then release buttons and press volume up once)

Copy the ROM & Gapps to your extrenal SDCard
boot into recovery and, go to advanced wipe, wipe SYSTEM, CACHE & DALVIK CACHE, DATA, INTERNAL STORAGE (not external storage wich is SD card)

Wow, thanx for the walk through, i guess i will, if katkiss works, pay you a token of apreciation via PayPal.(if you have that)
Another question, since i do not have a small sd or 'normal size' sd card above 512 MB (and how formatted, fat? ntfs...?) can it be done by wired pc connection?
I have got the win 8 pc seeing the tf101's 'internal onboard sd memory' and offcourse on this pc the mentioned rom's.

Please have a look here : http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...07-rom-jb-4-3-katkiss-multi-window-tf101.html everythings are explain (the installation for 4.3 & 4.4 is the same.
Good luck

Thanx! Finally i got it working!!, because of your directions and explenation!!!
I now have a tf101, clean as a whistle, with fresh 4.4.2. android rom.
(Some things are still not ok, but that's the rom, like ehhhh pictures library, when pressed the standard app on desktop, it mostley opens and stops, sometimes it works...)
And i want to put a little amount of practical thanx there, if you have PayPal.
Private message me your PayPal email adress and i shuffle some over.
kat kitt 4.4.2. netflix and video
Hee all, a newbie here, i can not replye in the thread itself.
What came into my mind was 2 things, also needed stock after some update of android.
nvidia tegra something...
and arm7. (drivers? codecs?)
perhaps these are missing/wrong ones in 4.4.2 and thus netflix and i.e. utopiatv.nl does not work.

Happy for you
I'm on kk4.4 and it's wonderful, but only thing is annoying me is that I can't put accents with the dock in, I mainly write in spanish, so this is certainly a big issue.
Any tip about how to fix it, I already have the dock layout set to Spanish,so this is not the problem.
Thanks in advance!
Hello :- 1st post from newbie... :fingers-crossed:
Background :
Asus TF101 - c4/2012 - S/n starts with BC0K..... - with dock, working but reboots every 10 mins, lots of non-responsive apps, slow performance.
c120 apps installed - for whenever I need them. Frustrated by about c20 that run that I didn't start up - I don't need them until I need them....
Task killers kill some but some just restart... ...so decided to root and load Cyanogen for more control over apps, esp. permissions, and hopefully improved performance.
My skills : - newbie to Android dabbling, but used to minor registry tweaks and driver installs in Windoze, and programming many years ago in DOS, Basic, IPL2, and even Fortran (yes, really ). Never got into OO stuff....
Rooting and Flash so far :
Tried Chanxxxx's routine but couldn't get it to work.
Tried Asus unlock routine - doesn't work on TF101 any more.
Tried ViperMod but most image sites and mirrors are smoke and dust. 1 image found wouldn't unpack - corrupted.
Finally found PERI v0.42 which worked after many attempts in fixing adb drivers and out of date server problems.
(Only one site thread mentioned turning off Asus Synch on the PC and the tablet too...).
All very frustrating, esp. given the age of most of the threads and links - but I'm persistent, if nothing else..
... ...am I the last human bean on the planet who wants to root an old TF101?
So, now got :
Rooted OK
SuperUser OK
TWRP 2.5.0.0 under the hood - came wth PERI routine (thanks Thing o Doom).
Cyanogen 9.1
Loaded CWM ROM Manager but when I ran it it said I should stick with TWRP installed already (?) - so I did.
So I used TWRP to flash Cyanogen 9.1 and GAPPs.
Now running fine apparently - first day - still need to reload all apps...
Issues
Q1) - Since tried to use PERI to install TWRP 2.8.1.1. over current 2.5.0.0 - replaced the 2.5 recoveryblob with the 2.8 blob.
- renamed 2.8 blob, also tried changing batch file to suit other name - but all failed.
- pushes ok with push command, but dd to of mmcblk0p4 fails - permission denied.
Any thoughts please on why permissions have changed?
- I didn't include the md5 file from 2.8.1.1 - as 2.5 didn't have one anyway.
- what could have changed to stop me replacing mmcblk0p4 ?
- I did run TWRP 'Fix Permissions' - though not really sure what that does....
- is my approach too simplistic and other skullduggery required?
[- Didn't use TWRP 2.8.1.1 install that came with it as I don't know how to run it. Noticed that the script referred to Busybox which I don't have].
[ Have installed Android SDK but no idea what to do with it ...].
Q2 - Has anyone tried Cyanogen 10.x on a TF101 - I see there is one but it was a Nightly?
- if you did, is it stable?
- what would be the main benefits - presumably JB improvements?
Q3 - New Problem - MSD and SD slots both report 'Damaged SD Card' when you pop one in - and corrupt it. So when I put it back in my Windows PC card reader it is unreadable and needs reformatting. Does it with Micro slot on tablet and full sized slot on keyboard dock. Just tried brand new SD card and banjaxed that.
Both USB slots are fine and don't corrupt the USB flash drive.
Could it be :
- TWRP setting? - TWRP doesnt let me mount the ext SD Card - but probably because it sees it as corrupted?
- CyanogenMod 9.1 issue?
- Other something in the stack that can be fixed with an adb push or...?
Thanks
TF
Hi there !
The tf101 is an old device , and Asus have took down the download links for the factory files i believe now. I do have a copy of it on my tf101 sd card. Do you want me to upload it for you ? .
When all of these reboot problems and app crashes started , do you think anything specific caused it ? And has your device always been like it ? Also , why did you need to replace mmcblk0p4?
I personally think it is a kernel problem . All cm nightly buids are pretty stable in my opinion ! So there is nothing to worry about there. Be aware you will need to flash a new twrp build if your planning to install lollipop although lollipop is v e r y slow in my opinion.. So don't bother . Anyway i hope that this info has helped you , and if you could give more information i will be happy to help further. Please click like on this post ! It means alot

I have it already from the Asus site, thanks - but it doesn't work anymore. Asus have disabled the backend server bit that lets it continue to run the tweak on the TF101 apparently.

It just got progressively worse 2014-2015 until I abandoned it as unusable. Sometimes it would stay up for a few hours... ..but not often.
The PERI routine, as with some others, replaces it for some reason - is it a whole partition?

I thought CyanogenMod 10.x was JellyBean, no? - I believe from some thread I read somewhere that the TF101 can't go beyond that?
Cheers.

Hi there,
The factory images is not a "tweak" as you described it , and require no backend server to install(as far as I'm aware) because I have installed stock rom without internet before , which would not connect to any backend server you are describing .
Try using easyflasher instead of peri to do flash stuff to your device. I have never had problems with easyflasher in the past.
Type katkiss lollipop tf101. There is a lollipop build for the device , although I don't recommend it
If you are still unable to get things going, don't hesitate to send me a private message , or email me at [email protected] , and Il assist you with anything like installing the apx drivers for your device if you need the help !
---------- Post added at 12:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:47 AM ----------
Does stock rom work ok on the device ?
Do you have the stock kernel or modded kernel?
This will help isolate the issue between the device or the software.
Please hit thanks on anything in my profile that you think could be useful to you sometime ! It only takes a moment , and it means alot !

Kat kiss is running g decently on my eeepad once I have over cclocked to 1500 mhz. Still a little slow but not to bad for an older device. Also if you want to install the new twrp you can just grab the zip file and flash it in the twrp you already have and follow the instructions and it will be updated from 2.5 to 2.8
Edit: yeah never mind I see what your saying I just downgraded to katkiss 4.4.4 and it's running so much smoother

Ah- crossed porpoises - I meant the ability to run the boot unlocker tweak (not the KitKat ROM image) - unlocker still available but disabled at Asus server - which it has to reference to note your CPU #, according to posts on various forums...... - solved by Peri now.

I'm not planning to use a stock ROM - I wanted to try out Cyanogen - as may also get a phone with it on.
- so the kernel is whatever came in the CyanogenMod9.1 pack.

Hi guys I'll share with you how to multiboot roms on Lenovo P2 using an app called DualBoot Patcher.
Currently I'm using 3 roms, they're simultaneously installed on my phone and all I need to switch the rom is a single tap via the app we'll discuss below.
The roms I have installed right now:
-S062_170117_ROW as primary
-RR 5.8.2 as secondary
-S232_170320_ROW as data-slot
As you may already think about it, yes having 3 roms or more installed on your phone is eating your internal storage a bit.
Check the shots attached below for all the storage details for each Rom. I currently have 12GB free on the internal storage.
---
Okay let's start with the tutorial.
Requirements:
-Root
-Unlocked Bootloader
First of all I want to say Big Thanks to the developer of the DualBoot Patcher @chenxiaolong. Feel free to visit the official thread of the app, say/press thanks and if you're good even donate to him.
Also you can thank me for adding our great device Lenovo P2 to the supported devices. I opened pull request on GitHub that is already processed.
I'll start with the steps of my tutorial:
1)
The first thing of course is to download the app from it's official page
As of the time this guide is written make sure to download the build 9.2.0.r8.g4da14ed or newer as the older builds don't support Lenovo P2. Currently only the P2a42 model is supported, if there is interest from a P2c72 owners I'll add a pull request on GitHub.
2)
You have the apk, install it and set the kernel when the app asks you. Good thing is to update the ramdisk of the primary rom, but you still can multiboot even if you didn't. You can force update the ramdisk by hitting the update ramdisk button 3 times. Always reboot after setting kernel or updating the ramdisk.
3)
Now I assume you have the zip file for the other rom. Select "Patch zip file" from the side menu and choose where to install it. You have a choice of:
-Primary Rom Upgrade (not recommended, it will override your primary rom! For security reasons can only be selected from a rom different from primary.)
-Secondary (I recommend this if you wish to use only 2 Roms, the rom will be installed on the same partition as the primary rom, it won't affect the internal storage. Only the data will be on internal. The system partition of P2 is 3.87GB and you can put 2 roms there easily.)
-Multi-slot (not recommended, suitable for phones with large cache partitions, 1.5-2G)
-Data-slot (this will affect your internal storage, system and data on internal, reliable option if you use 3 or more roms.
-Extsd-slot ( the rom will be installed on your extsd card! Yeah you hear me, an awesome feature, but unfortunately kind of unstable, you have issues here and there and also you have slightly decreased performance as you're running the rom from your sdcard which is several times slower than the internal storage unless you're running one of the most expensive extsd cards.
Select secondary or data slot, choose a save path and patch the rom.
4)
Install the rom. Easy as it sounds. Press the pink button in bottom right, press it once again and select the rom you patched in the previous step. As you can see you can even restore a backup made with the app. It's not for restoring a twrp backup. You can backup roms within the DualBoot Patcher. Also you can flash roms patched with this app in twrp. Choose where to install it or leave it as it is and press the ✓ button in up right. The rom will be flashed.
Important! Don't switch to another app or do anything else when the rom is being installed, otherwise the patcher will crash! 1-2 minutes and you're done, not much of a waiting.
5)
Hey you made it. You now have 2 roms simultaneously installed on your phone! When you install a new rom the patcher will automatically switch to it. That doesn't mean it will auto reboot to the new rom, it will just switch to it in the Roms list, you can always switch to the primary or other rom again. I think that's pretty much about it guys. Now just switch to the new rom and select reboot from the side menu of the patcher, it will reboot to the new rom. You can repeat the procedure as many times as you want.
My record is 8 Roms, that was in the past with other phone. Because of this crazy number I'm a proud winner of the gold medal for the "Most number of multiboot roms installed lmao.
If you have questions feel free the write below and as always hit thanks if I was helpful. See ya. :highfive:
Update: Starting from build 9.2.0.r54.g8b79a2b the patcher now supports the P2c72 too!
so my P2c72 is on the way, you think it's not supported? Isn't everything the same except for the internal space? I was planning to flash the official P2a42 ROM anyways.
Thoughts?

I don't think, I'm sure it's not supported because I put the codenames on github and P2c72 is not in the list. No problem if you want to multiboot I'll add it in no time. You can flash all the roms available here for p2a42 on your P2c72 just fine by removing the first lines "assert get prop" in the updater-script. You can flash these roms the usual way via twrp. But if you use the DualBoot Patcher as for now it won't recognize the P2c72.

Cheers! My phone is on the way from china. Might be another week or so Right now just browsing everything that we have here.
Thanks for this. After so many ROMS ported recently, this would really help me out with having one stable daily driver and others to try to. Not an android developer but I'd like to try my hands as well finally to make a ROM and maybe look into the two bugs that are persistent across all ROMS. Let's see. I've just developed apps for now.
Anyways, thanks, this is indeed good stuff.
Yes, I love this app. It's the future of Rom's flashing, just switching between Roms like a boss. Btw congrats you bought the P2c72, it's 64gb right?

Sorry brother didn't go through as I can't actually do it. Still waiting on my bootloader :/
So anyone had any success with p2c72?
I tried, but it fails. Doesn't throw any error but gets stuck in the boot and eventually reboots in twrp.
My only doubt is how does it know that the phone is p2c72? The build.prop says p2a42 so does the app thinks that its p2142 and wrongly patch it?
Is this just for experimenting or is there any advantage using 2 os same time? Isn't this can be cause a heat problem because of the more cpu/ram usage?
Can't find supported version of app! Can anyone here help me out wuth version?
