So the Galaxy S III has been unveiled.
My PRO's= Screen Resolution, processor, GPU, RAM, memory.
My CON's= Screen type (SAMOLED -_-)
I can't really think of anything else. Comment on your pro's and con's if you would like!
Pros
1. Its Samsung
2. The screen. Any HD screen is better than our cappys lol and I like black being black
3. MicroSD and Removable battery
4. Multitasking = WOW
5. Embrace of NFC
Cons
1. $$$$$ for international version

Oh and if you guys are going to purchase this beast, what color would you choose:
Marble** white or pebble blue?
And if you're going for a case or leave it as is?

Yeah. Its amazing. I can't believe the mass amounts of people that say its ugly, garbage, the same.
Granted that 2GHz quad core A-15 would've been worth waiting long but its nice.
HD SAmoled.
Up to 64GB plus up to 64GB card. 2100MAH battery
So well integrated and intuitive.
I hope to obtain one in the near future.

Guys, I read some comments on another site that US/Canadian would have a lower CPU to accommodate LTE? I didn't understand that, could someone clarify
I didn't use my upgrade on the SII so I'll be planning on picking this one up in the Pebble Blue. I just can't do white devices. Maybe it reminds me of my childhood with all the Beige/White systems.
Performance seems to be pretty good, a good setup from my Captivate so I am all for that.
So while I would have loved a A15 quad or even better GPU, well, we always want more so I think I will be happy with it. It does not seem as the Nvidia thing is catching up so I hope the whole Tegra exclusive crap is over otherwise, having a super GPU when the games are getting better features only for Tegra wont help me much.
Not sure why someone cannot be happy with the screen. Black is black and everything is punchy. I have a HD projector calibrated so I can be picky but I love Samsung screens.
Now the Q is..how long before stupid ATT brings it here.
USA releases are slotted for June. More info, as always, pending carrier announcements. Those will probably come when their world tour stops off in NYC, from what I'd guess.
man I am way behind
How can one hate that curved metal finish on the side. It's very sexy.
The whole camera-design thing: who actually looks at their camera lens on a daily basis? Its always behind the phone where you'll rarely ever see it. People these days...

Seriously when I read people cons...being about looks I feel the same way...come on now.
Definitely looking forward to upgrade.
There's been speculation that to accommodate LTE in the North American release, they might go with an S4 instead of the Exynos, which is also an excellent processor (though I would have liked to experience the Exynos).
Still, it's almost time to upgrade for me. It'll be nice to experience LTE.

I'm totally in love with this beast. Its hardware and features are awesome.
As soon as I could get one, my beloved Cappy could then take a step back and be my backup
My Captivate has served me well. It has never failed me. Hate to retire it, but I want the GS3.

I agree. Never had a phone that lasted this long without me wanting to upgrade..and the way new Roms and OCing kept extending its life its pretty awesome.
Was anxiously awaiting this thing since even though my cappy is beyond amazing, it's begun to feel its age a bit and I'm totally looking forward to a new phone.
I am totally not disappointed and can't wait to finally get my upgrade when it comes out.
The screen is awesome, and since I never got to see super amoled + I can't say I'm going to miss it. I just hope the GS3 is anywhere near as good to me as my cappy has been - although I'm going to miss the build of this phone cause it was awesome.
I love the specs...but I'm a tad disappointed by its aesthetics... I mean it looks like a cheaper quality phone with all that plastic...on the other hand HTC one x looks like sex
Same here didn't use my upgrade yet but will wait to see what the US versions specs are. Might be changing from AT&T to Sprint soon as wife contract is up.
I was really disappointed with the Galaxy S3. I will most likely be upgrading to the HTC One X. In almost every situation the One X beats or is a tie with the S3.
Screen: Most reviews say that the One X has a better screen then the Galaxy Nexus, so I believe that with the S3 having essentially the same screen as the nexus the One X's will be better.
Processor/SOC: The S3 will likely have an S4 in Canada so in that case it is a tie. If the S3 does have the quad core in Canada it will probably not be that noticeable of a difference.
Software: Both will likely have great Rom development, but in a worst case scenario, I can live with Sense 4.0, I cannot live with that hideous touchwiz.
Hardware: (IMO) The One X is gorgeous. The S3 is meh. Also, the S3 has a menu button, what were you thinking Samsung! I don't care about a removable battery or sd card slot.
Camera: I'm guessing it will be about the same (Don't care much about camera).
I'm starting a new thread because all the others I saw on this topic were 2 years old and that is a lifetime in technology world.
I accidentally forgot to take my phone out of my pocket when I went swimming. Worse it was a salt-water pool. So all the metal is corroded, no saving it. I had a Samsung Vibrant. But now looking for perhaps an upgrade.
What are some of the best models to buy? I'm not hugely into changing roms, I like to figure out one I like and stick with it. Also, I have T-mobile service.
So all I know on phone models are Samsung Galaxy S; SII, and SIII. Give me a good one please!
The new line of HTC phones, the One s and One X are pretty cool. Nice and light with amazing screens. The new HTC UI is also lovely.
the Samsung Galaxy S3 is also excellent. Quite similar in terms of weight and size to the HTC phones mentioned.
These are probably the best Android phones on the market at the moment. Theres also the iPhone 4S which is a great phone too, but with smaller screen size than most new Android devices.
Hope this helps
Sony has a flagship(high-end) phone called Xperia S. Hope that contributes to your choices.
Also, I have a tip for you, You should read online reviews on the phones that you are interested in, and, also read the specs carefully,You wont wanna end up with a 600MHz processor or a 2.x" screen, will you?
Best phone for me
I think the new Samsung Galaxy S III is the best phone yet because of its new features. Simply designed for human... hehe... Take a look at this website to know more: http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxys3/
jelly bean
for me if i want to buy a new phone right now i'll buy galaxy nexus. because it gets the most up-to-date android right now that is jelly bean(4.1).
The UI is not so different from the ics but many updates in the software such project butter and google now. you can google it and you'll be suprise.
The project butter make it buttery smooth, it can even match up with quad-core galaxy s3
So for me.Nexus is the one
Buy Galaxy SII and install S3 touchwizz.
If wifi calling were essential, the s2 or s3. Between those two, Itll be down to your budget.
If Wi-Fi calling is less of an importance to you, I'd say +1 on the galaxy nexus all the way.

Please elaborate. Why the SII when the SIII is available?
Which brings me to my next question. Does anyone have both an SGSIII and an HTC One X? I'd really like some feedback for those two.
I'm so impressed with the quality materials and the feel of the One X in hand. While I only tried it in the AT&T store, I really like the build quality, the solid feel, and the UI didn't look too bad either. But I must admit, I'm really a big fan of SWYPE, as offered on the Samsung phones.

I would say the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be the best, but as far as I know it have still some software bugs which need to be improved. If you dont want to pay too much money for a phone, you can choose the Samsung Galaxy S2. I have this one and i am happy with it. it is fast enough for these things I do (use internet, watch some movies while in a bus or subway, listen to musik, learning and play sometimes a game).
The S3 have more features and is faster and so on, but its your choice.
Depend on money, on things you want to do with it and maybe a bit how much you want to show that you have the best
spent a weekend with 2 samsung s3's.on the monday bought the onex international.phone is better built, sense is very nice, the s3 is a verygood phone but for me the onex just feels better in so many little ways.the screen is a joy, the phone fits the hand, zero faults, happy bunny me
Boy S3 or S2 if you want to spend less money.

Laggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg thats what the s3 lacks the one x has plenty
I have a One X and just picked up an S3 for my buddy and every time I play with an S3, I like it less and less. From the horribly plastic build, to its ugly design, to the crappy bluish pentile screen. As far as I'm concerned the only benefits it provides over the One X are the SD slot and extra RAM. The One X is superior in every other regard.

I'm speaking specifically of the S4 version of the One X which does not have any of the problems that the Tegra version has. In no way does the S3 rape the S4 One X in terms of performance or battery. They have the same SOC so they are completely comperable. Battery life in the S4 One X is ridiculous. I can get 2 days and over 6 hours screen on time. That's unheard of with android.
Sure the S3 is polycarbonate but it FEELS like a cheap plastic POS. And blue or white? Where's the black? They look like shiny plastic toys and they are fingerprint magnets. The One X feels solid and looks soo much nicer. I really think the build on the S3 belies the actual power of the phone. And sorry man, I'm glad you like the SAMOLED screen but it just can't touch the SLCD2 of the One X. Every reviewer on the internet thinks that the One X's screen is superior because well, it is. The S3's screen is over saturated, not bright at all, doesn't have the viewing angles that the One X has and the pentile is terribly noticeable. If it was a SAMOLED + it would be a different story but it's not. Pentile is a hideous technology and really destroys what would be a high quality screen. Also, at least on the blue model, the glass is tinted blue so the SCREEN is tinted blue. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Even the deepest black on the S3 has a noticeably blue tint to it. I saw it, the rep at the AT&T store saw it, and my buddy who owns one sees it and hates it. The only reason he got the S3 over the One X was because he needed the SD slot.
The S3 is a great device, no doubt, but when you take everything into acount, I really feel the S4 One X is a much better phone. I'm glad you like your S3, but to me it's akin to a family having a retarded child. They may love it to death, but it doesn't change the fact that it's retarded.

Coming from a Mytouch 3G, then Mytouch 4g, I had enjoyed the HTC experience, then I switched to the Samsung Galaxy S2, it completely blew my mind from the HTC line! now, I know the newer HTC devices have come back and are amazing phones, however, I now have the Galaxy S3 and still couldn't be happier, it is an amazing device and I am happy I made the choice to switch over from HTC to Samsung.
I have done a full review which you can check out on my blog (linked in acct info)

Samsung Galaxy S3 .... If you like big phones.. :silly:
I know how you feel. Any way if your getting a new phone you should get the galaxy s3. But if you want a galaxy s type phone then you should get the galaxy ace 2. It has an 800mhz prosesor dual core so it works like a 1 ghz prosesor but since the second core can be turned off when not needed the battery life on the galaxy ace 2 is increased greatly.
But by all means if you want a 4 core phone full of pow then you should get the galaxy 3. It has s voice. Also has the eye detection. So if you look away from the screen it will turn off. The s3 has a memory card slot. Lots of four core phones don't have that. It will be able to charge wirelessly in a couple of months.
So it really does come down to if you want to spend a hefty amount on a phone that you will probably keep for a few years.
Good luck on your new phone hunt. Hope I helped
PS sorry for the spelling. Btw I'm 13

1) The Samsing Galaxy SIV is all plastic - Wrong! It's Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front which is 3 times more resistant than the GG2, plus poly-carbonate plastic (like the Lumia 920) on the side and removable back. In all likeliness it'll take various hits better than slim brushed metal or regular glass with older screen protective technology
2) The Samsung Galaxy SIV design is the same - Wrong! The subtle differences are noticeable in hand according to those touching. It's thinner, lighter, slightly less rounded and at 79%, it's the most screen-dominant of any phone on the market
3) Same old AMOLED - Wrong! While screen tech is not labeled as new (not sure if it's the PHOLED variant), but it has a new hexagonal sub-pixel arrangement, more brightness according to testers and less blueish tinting
4) No real innovations, just overblown S3 functions - Think again. Floating Touch with AirView functionality, input through gloves, new gesture controls and eye-tracking features, barometer, thermometer, health equipment compatibility, IR sensor and remote control, much larger camera sensor and lens with new function, big jump in HW performance and battery, SW designed for fresher OS, more NFC functions (VISA payment), wireless charging
5) Octa-core is a marketing gimmick - read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191850
6) 13MP is a marketing gimmick, it doesn't have more details - You sure? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39204732&postcount=22
7) Bigger screen, more uncomfortable use - Wrong! The Galasy SIV is actually smaller than it's predecessor and it's smaller and lighter overall than the HTC One, Droid DNA, XPeria Z and Oppo Find 5 wile featuring the largest battery at 2600mAh
Any more misconception to get rid of?
The body of the S4 is all plastic. There is no brushed metal its plastic made to look like metal.
Octa core is a marketing gimmick, I know what you mean but it would confuse a normal Joe.

In any case, we see in the list technical specifications of this unit many rumors again confirmed: a Exynos 5410 processor (aka Exynos 5 Octa), a PowerVR graphics processor, the 13 megapixel camera, and a full HD 1080p display. It also seems to be a metal edge is present on the body – in line with earlier rumors so.

Yes I'm aware the screen is glass. But the sides have said to be plastic by android sites
You made a great point there bro
Sides plastic on all review sites and according to people who have been at the event.. but looks more shiny and better than the s3
.....
Okay, I 'corrected' it.
Guys its polycarbonate(which is used for bullet proof glass and to make lenses for glasses) NOT the s3 plastic
Forget whatever site says.... in the live unveiling the presenter/evaluator said it was polycarbonate

We know.. even s3 is polycarbonate mate... and after watching some s4 vids, you can reallly see the shiny metal like plastic from the side.. it really looks different and looks like metal.. thats one thing I hated in the s3... the side bezel looked crap and easily got scratchesm. Glad samsung didnt protrude it and they made it look better

There was also a full metal version but this version couldn’t make trough the first round. Which directly hints to that Samsung completly ISN’T ready to build full metal devices. Which is sad for a lot of people. According to our insider the Galaxy S 4 is easy to build like the way Samsung chose to do so. The premium feeling is totally gone because of the missing metal / aluminium materials.

And for your information the screen quality is STILL the same as it was on S3 which is poor PENTILE. Which is even worse then Note 2 screen who has less pixels but still uses newer TECH with RGB.
The reason for that is because it's CHEAPER to use PENTILE and FASTER to reproduce.

Does it really matter whether its "better shock absorbing" plastic or heavier metal? "Feel?" People will keep the device less than 2 years and move on. Its not jewelry. Its a communication and computing device. You want to "wear it" and enjoy "form and feel," buy Apple products. You want function stick with a plastic Samsung device

The One X failed because it had worse battery, worse camera, worse performance, worse versatility, and a worse interface compared to the S3. The HTC One & S4 are much closer than the One X and S3 ever were. Remains to be seen how the S4 does against the HTC One, because we at least know for sure the latter wins in low-light performance and looks.

Is it just me, or is the Galaxy S IV the phone that everyone was expecting right before the Galaxy S III was announced one year ago?
When I saw the specs and first photos of the S IV my first thought was "Wow!! It's the phone I wished for one year ago but Samsung gave me the damn S III."
Don't get me wrong, the SIII was good, not better than the One X if you take raw speed out of the equation, but a great device overall, a best seller and the phone everyone is trying to sell now to either get a Note 2, an Iphone 5, a S IV or the HTC One. But if the SIII was the S4 (again not speaking about raw speed or the octa core cpu) most of them wouldn't bother.
It's like Samsung IS trying to screw us out of our money just as they did with the SIII, they said a Pentile Matrix is more resilient to time but they went with RGB on the Note 2. They knew everyone was gonna buy it so they said "****'em, they'll eat it up anyway". Very Apple-like technique if you don't mind me saying so.
Oh, and I'm really not trolling or trying to be trolled at, I honestly want to know what people and not fanboys have to say and think about it, and when I say fanboys I mean all of them, no matter if it's Samsung, HTC, Apple (I don't think there's any other kind of brand-fanboy in the mobile world out there)

Re: [Q] Is the S4 what the S3 should have been?
This is normal. Manufacturers always offer some incremental specs & features. If they offered S4's spec last year, what do you want them to offer this year? 16cores processor, 16mp camera, 3500mAh battery and 500ppi screen? You will still keep asking the same question : why they can't offer this last year?
It happens to all kind of gadgets. You as the consumer should decide to buy or not to buy. Nobody force you to buy if you don't like what they offered.

No. I am liking what I see. I already enjoy my GS3. And I am almost certainly going to enjoy the Galaxy S4.

The camera, screen, battery tech and big.LITTLE CPU weren't possible back then, at least not enough to meet demand or at any reasonable cost to consumers. Android 4.2.2 also wasn't released yet. I'm not really sure what you mean, since the S3 was already better than the One X in many ways. The only thing I could see the S3 launching with were the different design and the floating touch tech, but at least the remaining apps and software features will come to the S3 as well.

Are you high? Everytime i see this i cringe... The 4 to 4s or 3g to 3gs had same screen same design... Exactly the same.... This has nee camera cpu thats a lot better way better screen with new matrix... Improved speaker ui and better design... This isnt as incremental as u think..
The battery is also loads better lol

this is not what I asked, I said that it's the device everyone thought that was coming last year, and I did specify that I am NOT talking about the CPU or raw power of the device, I was talking about features and innovation, and even the actuall ppi of the screen since the matrix is pentile on the s3 and with 65% of really visible pixels the display no matter how good is still not the flagship display you'd expect.

oh and I'm not saying that either device is bad or even close, I'm saying that after the i9000 moved to the i9100 it was a huge step forward and a true game-changer, that is not the case so much with the i9100 to i9300 or the i9300 to i9500.
I was expecting both posts to merge
oops
The pentile phobia is ridiculous at 440ppi. The human eye can't see it. Are you walking around with your microscope?
I also cringe when I read misleading post like "the S4 is like the S3". This comes from HTC CEO who said after the S4 launch "It's more of the same". This was clearly said in an intent to discredit Samsung and was said early after HTC declare war on Samsung.
The fact that Samsung has slowly but steadily climbed the top rung and has developed a strong fan following is not lost out on other phone makers. Almost every other phone maker is now looking at Samsung as a threat and their actions are spurred by Samsung releases

It's too bad that people react like this. There is place for all kinds of phones(even iphone, my 80 years old mom needs a non-customizable phone).
You can try to degrade it as much as youwant. The FACTS remains that the S4 is differrent in every single aspect thus making it a new generation.
HTC fans should be happy that the S4 is not what the S3 should have been. Can you imagine much far behind the competition would be?
.
Re: [Q] Is the S4 what the S3 should have been?
Well the imaginary phone that u sre talking about is certainly not the s3 but the original note. Because next year when note 2 came nobody felt the need of changing their note and we got all the functionality of a note 2.
S4 really has a tough competition. So going leaps away is what tuey needed to do. They didnt put their octa out yet. They will tweak it to outrun the google X phone. Then maybe release it with KLP. so one flagship will compete twice like HOX.

Hahahaha. I love this reply. SO true!
Considering that the GS4 blows everything else out of the water in terms of hardware, it's highly unrealistic to expect Samsung to have produced it a year back.
Seriously let's stop with all this GS3 S crap which is the product of silly tech journalists who apparently can't see beyond the surface. Undeneath the hood the GS4 is a big upgrade over the GS3 which itself was a pretty big upgrade over the GS2.
I have posted this list of improvements elsehwere but let me post it again:
Octacore processor
Better GPU
1080P screen
2GB RAM
2600 mAh battery
Gorilla Glass 3
13 MP camera
infra red
thermometer sensor
humidity sensor
How is this not an impressive upgrade? And I didn't even mention the 1080 60FPS video capability. And all this in a smaller, lighter device than the GS3.

All these S4=S3+ claimers always repeat the same thing like a bunch of blind sheeps but never bring any reasoning to their statements.
Here is a logical statement
If S4 = S3+ then HTC One = HTC One X+
Lol, you are trying to bring future in present which is not possible. Samsung has made gradual improvements in both software and hardware department which is quite good. I love the work done by their R&D department. Even with these specs, these are miles ahead of competitors and it seems like there is no end to samsung's innovation.
First they introduced smart stay. It was a kinda gimmeck, but they improved it and brought more changes into it in the next phone. Same goes with the air view. They are improving and improving. If all the features they showcased on GS4 worked well, just imagine the number of enhancement it will bring to note 3 and S5. No competitor is working at this pace, so hats off to Samsung.

You statement never been logic.
Which part show HTC one = HTC One X++ (suppose ++ as already got + version at market).
People said S4 = S3+ because the design was too identical to differentiate it.

I often said that I was a fan of the Power/capability of the phone but not necessarily Samsung. In fact the first thing I was doing when having a new phone was to remove all Samsung apps. But now I think Samsung features have grown to a point where it's nearly futuristic. I mean, I started a thread where I ask people "What specs or features the SGS4 Should've had? " and nobody can come up with features as awesome as what the S4 already have.
I think those features will be the decision makers for Mr. and Mrs. everybody. Yes the HTC One looks a bit more premium with it's alumium chassis but if I show the two phones and show how I can just tell my phone "Play music" or I can put the phone on the table and take a picture of myself just by saying "Shoot"(no need to use the front camera anymore), it creates a big wow factor. The best HTC One could come up with is Blinkfeed(which is Flipboard-like).

So by your logic they could've keep the same cpu/gpu/screen/ram etc.. but change the design, then the phone would've been a big update?

In all honesty, I think this is why competition is great, because it makes OEM step their game up where they have "weaknesses". It'll be interesting to see how Samsung respond in the future. I like their build quality and design, never bothered me but this could be a good thing.

I hope they stay with plastic. Most Samsung users love it because "its the best material for smartphones"... what should they buy if samsung starts building phones with aluminum or other metals?
Oh, suddenly aluminum would be the best :silly:

Yeah they can stay with plastic no problem, just make it more solid like the lumia or One X and change the design maybe? ( but definitely keep the home button and both capacitive buttons )
i think this joke made by Sammobile ( specially their insider :laugh: )
LOOOL Samsung worried
and i don't want aluminum phone , i think Samsung just need to stop using hyper glaze on the back cover
i really like the feel of back cover of my GS2 and Gnex :good:
IMO N3 will look like Galaxy Mega ( bigger GS4) with S-pen + Note features with 6 inch screen
I hope Samsung doesn't give up on the replaceable battery and microSD slot. The fact is that most people put their expensive phones inside covers so the original design doesn't matter much. It's the kind of thing reviewers make a lot of noise about but most customers don't really care that much.
yeah, "worried" is definitely inaccurate, they are far from worried but let's all keep it real here and not be too one sided. The One has an incredible design and great choice of material ( I won't give it credit for build quality cause they always have QC issues), apparently most people like that. So imagine if Samsung can ( and they certainly can) make the next flagship with a whole new design, choose a strong kind of material, I think it'll be game over for everyone else. We here all like the plastic but many don't, so Samsung will make everyone happy by changing things a little.

I absolutely agree on the replaceable battery and SD card, this is something they cannot get rid of. But they can pull off a different design and keep those two in place without a problem.

"Galaxy Mega." Someone listened to the Engadget Mobile podcast.
I have plumped for the HTC One, coming from the Galaxy S2 due to 2 year contracts, and never cared for what others call "premium" builds.
Having owned the HTC One for a few days now I have to say that having a phone made from more "expensive feeling" materials is by no means a bad thing.
It can only be a good thing if Samsung start putting a bit more effort into handset design. We all know that Samsung usually have the better specs. It really can't hurt to back this up with better design.

Yes, they should definitely change the design. Last year most people were like: "look at that ugly sgs3"... but after a while, the people get used to it. But thtat doesnt mean samsung designs are nice. They are not in my eyes.
The One X was a really cute smartphone made of polycarbonat. It still feels 10000 times better then the glossy plastic s3 (and probably s4). If they use that kind of plastic, it would be a big step forward in look and feel. But i doubt they will do. It will be for sure more expensiv.
What does design have to do with build quality? People get the two confused, Samsung have the best build quality these days. People always say HTC One has the best build quality......... like no I've exchanged it 3 times, all have sucked and I decided to get a GS4 instead and luckily the Network allowed me to do so. I just hope my choice pays off....

Agreed with the Hyperglaze. My S2's back-plate/battery cover was matte, and it was just fine, looked good too.

You're absolutely right, and I actually said it a few posts above ^^. HTC has great designs and choice of material is arguably very good ( has its own pros and cons) but I can't give them credit for their build quality cause they always have QC issues.

100% certified, correct. To quote my own signature, "don't mistake build materials for build quality". From multiple accounts, the HTC One build quality is poor.
I will bet that the Galaxy S4 build quality will exceed the HTC One's build quality. Argue materials all you would like, but it's time for reviewers, forum members, and the general public to learn the English language. Materials, by definition, is not quality.
I dunno, I like the build just fine but maybe they could use matte polycarbonate like Lumia or HOX. I prefer those over the hyperglaze.

BREAKING: Samsung ditches own AMOLED and EXYNOS inside new Galaxy S IV
Posted by DannyD on 23 February 2013 at 10:01
Yes you just read the title of this message right. Our insider just gave us the first official “unconfirmed” specifications of the next generation Galaxy S, the Galaxy S IV. The Galaxy S IV will no longer use the Samsung EXYNOS processor and according to the latest rumours this processor has overheating issues. Today we can confirm Samsung will use the Snapdragon 600 and it is clocked at 1.9 Ghz which is 0.2 Ghz higher than the HTC One. The Galaxy S IV will have 2 GB of RAM and will come in three variants 16, 32 or 64 GB. As the rumours earlier reported Samsung is going to use a Full HD display. The Galaxy S IV uses a 4,99″ Full-HD SoLux Display we have no information if this is based on LCD3 like the HTC One. But a couple of months ago we posted the first hint regarding Samsung’s LCD factory is ready to produce Full HD panels from early 2013. And we also know Samsung’s AMOLED factory does have many problems with the production of full HD AMOLED screens.
