S4 Active rumored to use Snapdragon S4 Pro - Galaxy S 4 General

Hey guys, here we go
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Rumo...processor-under-the-hood_id43177#article_item
I think this was expected. Why? Because the model number is inferior to the original S4.
Conclusion : better build quality in change of the better cpu

Samsung S Advance VS. Galaxy Ace 2

Hello,
I'm just figuring out which one is better in specs?
Thanks
A comparison between the two
^^^
Above is a spec by spec comparison of the two devices. they are both extremely similar but the Advanced usually seems to have a minor bump over the Ace. Though the Aces lower specs ( slower clock speed) may help improve battery life

both have a dual core but ace 2 is 800 MHz dual core but s advance has bigger screen size and 1ghz dual core cortex a9. and s advance are not very expensive in our country
Galaxy S Advance
I would go for the Galaxy S Advance due to the better storage options.
I would also prefer the Galaxy S Advance.
the Galaxy S Advance win, 4"screen size+AMOLED :good:
i heard a lot positive comments from camera section too
The original S is already better than the ace 2 so you can throw your money now

Galaxy S Advance.. : D
I have an ACE 2 because S Advance wasn't available on my country yet. Both phones can be clocked to 1.2 GHz. S Advance should have Super AMOLED Plus
Had the same dillema and I've chosen the S Advance, becouse of:
1. Faster processor clock
2. Better screen
3. Larger storage
4. Awsome design
I'm happy my s advance is awesome the screen is beautiful the sound is good and the cam is between regular and good my verdict for all including $$$ is **** (four stars)

Galaxy S Advance Screen - Speaker - and Plastic quality is better than Galaxy Ace 2..
And S Advance corning gorilla glass.. Super Amoled
Galaxy Ace 2 PLS LCD
But Ace 2 Smaller - also screen is smaller and same processor but works 800 mhz so battery life will be much much better.
Are the better features of the Galaxy S Advance worth the doubling of price over the Ace 2?

The best dual sim android phone

Please recommend some the best and easy to root
I have B92M, but dissapointed with only 2000 mAh battery, with often 3G WCDMA internet surfing battery is over for about 5 hours.....crazy......
My liking is :
Xiaomi MI-2
* Qualcomm 8064 CPU (Quadcore)
* 2GB RAM
* 16GB ROM
* Graphics processing comparable to the XBOX 360 (Adreno 320 graphics chip)
* 3000 mAh battery upgrades
* 4.3 inches high PPI retina screen, 1280x720 resolution. The touch screen to do (the OGS / TOL), the single glass fit technology, Ultra Narrow design to protect the glass.
, but unfortunately it is single sim....:crying:
Which dual sim smartphone is really close to him?
Thanks

Samsung Galaxy S IV

Samsung will be announcing their upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S IV smartphone tomorrow in New York City.
We've heard rumors and details for weeks and weeks, but nothing is official until Samsung shows us themselves.
As reported, the device should rock a 4.99-inch 1920 x 1080p full HD display, and either their quad-core Exynos 5250 processor or the octa-core core we've been waiting for.
So far, Samsung is hyping up its next handset as the “ biggest thing since color TV ”
what do u think?

[Discussion] GalaxyNoteIII -Exynos vs. Qualcomm

Hi
Discuss and Compare Note III Exynos vs. Qualcomm
General Performance
- Performance of Gaming
- Performance of (using another apps)
Battery Life
& etc.
Note III N9000 will brings real Octa-Core /Exynos 5 Octa 5420 (N9000)
It means u have 4+4 cores to work with true 3GB of RAM; it seems best thing for multi-taskers...
and it might get best cpu performance (highest benchmark) even with bad hardware calibration!
Adreno 330 N9005 (Snapdragon) & Mali-T628 MP6 N9000 (Exynos) are almost similar
both have OpenCL, OpenGL ES 3.0, Renderscript Compute and etc.
infact thr s no technical reasons to get which one is better
so in my opinion in depend on ROM how to use GPU
S-Lag
the famous lag in launcher of galaxy device (touch wiz) > not found anything about it yet
But it s depend on time when do heavy using. so nothing to compare
Battery and charge
both Snapdragon 800 & Exynos 5420 (little.BIG) have energy efficient feature but there s better energy usage in N9005 (Snapdragon800) related to this video, Watch and some another report.
(will update with more choice and result)

Qualcomm version wins hands down...maybe not in benchmarks but it will get cm for shure
These threads are pretty useless,we don't even have any information about real life performance of Exynos Note 3 and since it is certainly first soc of its own type ,we will have to see.
No offence to OP or any one
Edit:There are 2-3 threads discussing the same thing.

this thread will update with more info
this means it s not just for 1-2 days
it will work months after releasing the phone
and we have info about phone from preview version of note3 (~80% of performance and etc)
we have lots of benchmark and performance report
display quality, sound quality
So if u didn't check them search it NOW and then discuss here
:good:
which version do you think it will have the most dev support?
Even though i live in India where we are going to get the exynos version, I'd prefer the snapdragon version. Im new here, but doesnt 1.3 and 1.9GHz seem less for a high end premium smartphone? Also Snapdragon will get cm for sure,

as u can check benchmarks of Octa version of Galaxy S4 u can realize that Octa-core of course has better performance than quad
the final quad-core antutu of note3 will be ~34,000 and octa will be 35,000 (at least)
:good:
Some of the things I value are stability and low heat. I'm experiencing possible stability issues with Nexus 7 (2013) based on Snapdragon S4 Pro/600 where on level 10 in Modern Combat 3 it's not only heating up the device making it very warm but the game is also exiting consistently when this happens. I don't have that issue with the Exynos based Note II so I'm leaning towards preferring the Exynos 5420 in the Note III. Btw, Exynos is fabbed by Samsung while Snapdragon is fabbed by TSMC. IMHO, Samsung fab is better.
Sammy will include HMP in their octacore processors through a software upgrade .so all samsung octacore devices will become true octacore devices
So guess which will have high performance? Real octacore exynos 5420 or sd800??

Nope.. check out sammobile, their samsung insider claimed that sammy will bring HMP for every exynos 5xxx processors (from s4 onwards ) ,so be happy
Also for s5 they are gonna bring 64 bit processing architecture, same like iphone 5s , so they don't wanna save it for s5

While a cool feature, I'm not sure how many CPU bottlenecks are going to be multithreaded to the point that adding the four slower cores will provide a substantial benefit. I also have concerns that with all eight cores running, heat throttling would kick in pretty quickly. My guess would be that, both in benchmarks and in real-world situations, the 800 is usually going to come out on top.
In HMP this is what really gonna happen:
Small processes like texting, calling , etc... low powered A7 cpu's will be switched
Big processes like gaming , Benchmarking , 1080p video capturing etc... both A7 and A15 cores will be combined together and throttle the device upto the max perfomance
So the device will be power efficient and we can clearly see the dominated benchmark scores and RLP over sd 800 (this would be pretty like the perfomance b/w a dual cored device and a quad cored device)

Ah... that means the Tmo version is most likely going to be the Quadcore version as it uses the Qualcomm version on every iteration of the Galaxy devices.
I was hoping for a little Octocore fun but, it'll be pointless if I can't use the cell radio

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 vs LG G Pad 8.0 LTE

Hello XDA Devs,
I am considering next to buy a tablet..
I am restricted to buy either the Tab 3 8.0 (Samsung) or the LG G Pad 8.0 LTE...
I've compared the two CPU's (Snapdragon vs Exynos) and I see Exynos is better but what about with the ram and the overall performance?
What about the software each of the device offers?
If you any of you had these devices I would be more than thankful if you could address some of the issues you had or tell me anything about the device..
I hope I didn't post this on a wrong forum
Thanks everyone
My personal advice regarding the 'Galaxy tab x' series when it comes to performance is very simple: DON'T.
The Tab 3 is a low-end device
Exynos is NEVER better. Always get a Snapdragon, if you can. The CPU in the Tab 3 is a Dualcore, as opposed to LG's Quadcore.
(I'm normally very positive about Samsung, but the Tab x series is absolute rubbish. The Tab Pro and Tab S series are the High-end line ups.)
I don't have personal experience with the Pad 8.0, only the 8.3. Just felt I should warn you about the Tab 3. I do own that one, it's slow as hell.
