Hey guys,
I wanted to try out the ParanoidAndroid 3+ ROM for the Asus TF300T today but got stuck. I followed the instruction as stated here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057596, and this is of course also where I got the ROM from. My setup: Asus TF300T on stock JB 4.2.1 TWRP 2.4.4.0 installed, this implying an unlocked bootloader. Now for the problem:
Installation of ROM and gapps went fine, or so I thought. Did factory reset before flashing and wiped cache & dalvik cache afterwards. Upon reboot system hung up on Asus/nVidia splash screen. Waited for a couple of minutes, no reaction. After a while I rebooted into recovery and reflashed ROM and gapps, this time I activated signature verification of the zip, which gave me a signature verification error. Needless to say that my tab didn't boot.
Anybody here got an idea or has experienced that issue? I would be grateful for some help.

So I tried to install Android Revolution HD 9.0 today, and after installation, I got stuck in a boot loop. Then I tried factory resets and cache partion wipes and multiple reinstalls and now it automatically boots into recovery.
Prior, I had a stock ROM, but it was rooted, but I was plagued with issuse such as random reboots and half the time on reboot, it would be stuck in a boot loop.
Can anyone help me out here?
I'm still fairly new to android modding beyond following instructions for installing CWM/Custom ROMs, so take that into consideration.
Factory reset or wipe phone in CWM and flash a new stock rom via Odin .

Done and done. Thanks for the help!
So I've been running Graviton 2.0 on my Nexus 5 for a few months and recently I've tried upgrading to 2.6. Problem is, when I install the updated rom, I get the "Unfortunately, com.android.provision has stopped" error message loop times infinity. I tried installing 2.6 by booting into recovery mode and installing the zip using CWM. I then wiped the cache and the Dalvik. I've also tried doing a factory reset prior to the previously mentioned steps and that hasn't worked either. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

If it we`re me, i would flash the factory image in fastboot, reroot and start over. Or do you have a working stored recovery to flash back to?

I've been able to recover back to Graviton 2.0 after each unsuccessful attempt through the restore function in CWM.
Hello all,
I have been using the [CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6.9] for the TF300T Tablet for over a year. It has been showing some lag lately so i decided to flash a new rom. I proceed by choosing Wipe -factory in twrp 2.5.0.0, then manually wipe cache, dalvik, and system. Next, I installed the new [CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6.9] rom and wipe cache/dalvik at end of installation. I rebooted the system and I am stuck on the Cromix splash screen. I tried installing the latest Cromi x 5.4 using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425390 and Im still stuck at the Cromix splash screen. Finally, I decided to just restore my system using the back up that I have made over a year ago. I was successfully gotten through the Cromix splash screen but now im stuck on the "Android is upgrading...Starting apps" for over 2hrs now. Can anyone of you guys help me and tell me how i can get my tablet to work again?
hi,
Recently i've updated p5100 to omnirom kitkat and i have CWM touch recovery. And also my device is not rooted.
out of the blues, my tab started auto rebooting itself. so i decided to do a factory reset to it. But i noticed nothing changed. the tab looked exactly the same. so i decided to flash a new rom (slimkat) to it. and i did. i followed the typical flashing technique through the sdcard. I cleared data, cleared partition, dalvik cache. and also flashed the new rom. but when i boot it, it remained the same old omnirom kitkat.
I did it a few times and got my tab stuck on bootload (omnirom) . i just dont get why CWM is not factory reseting the device or accepting any new rom. i even tried flashing TWRP. but no luck! so as a conclusion, my p5100 cant accept any new rom or recovery image and it cant factory reset. stuck on boot animation! but i could flash in the AROMA filemanager to it... would seriously appreciate if anyone could help me with this problem.
Thanks in advance.
So I recently got a motorola xoom from my brother as a birthday gift and i decided i wanted to root it to get the most out of the tablet. I successfully managed to root and unlock the bootloader on the tablet without a problem. I installed TWRP by R.A.H with bigPart partitioning but upon installing 4.4.4 OmniRom like instructed to, the tablet didn't boot up anymore.
When i get on TWRP and try formatting the internal storage, cache, dalvik cache or data it says "cannot mount" and does not format it. I tried reinstalling the rom but no luck. Is there any way i can go back to stock with fastboot? Is there a solution to fixing this boot?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: i fixed my problem by flashing a non-bigPart TWRP on the xoom and flashed a non-bigPart rom, then proceeded to re partition the device and successfully flashed omnirom 4.4.4 on my device
