[Q] (SOLVED) Motorola Xoom (MZ602) Stuck on Omni Boot Logo - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I recently got a motorola xoom from my brother as a birthday gift and i decided i wanted to root it to get the most out of the tablet. I successfully managed to root and unlock the bootloader on the tablet without a problem. I installed TWRP by R.A.H with bigPart partitioning but upon installing 4.4.4 OmniRom like instructed to, the tablet didn't boot up anymore.
When i get on TWRP and try formatting the internal storage, cache, dalvik cache or data it says "cannot mount" and does not format it. I tried reinstalling the rom but no luck. Is there any way i can go back to stock with fastboot? Is there a solution to fixing this boot?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: i fixed my problem by flashing a non-bigPart TWRP on the xoom and flashed a non-bigPart rom, then proceeded to re partition the device and successfully flashed omnirom 4.4.4 on my device

[Q] Accidently Wiped system and almost everything using Team Win Recovery Project v2

Was trying to flash the ICS ROM V5 but it got stuck on the boot animation. I did a factory reset, surprisingly it was still there. So i used "Team Win Recovery Project" aka "twrp-crespo-2[DOT]0[DOT]0RC0[DOT]img" in nexusshacks.com. I went in there to do a factory reset but i wiped the ACTUAL system instead. So when i reboot i am stuck on Google. Unfortunely i only had 1 back up which is in ClockworkMod, but i cant access that. I dont mind my lost files because i can recover that but i want my phone to work again. Can i copy the nexus s contents from another nexus s and place it in my SD and will it work? If you guys have ideas please do reply because i need my phone fixed asap. Bootloader unlocked and rooted using superuser.

okay,am not very familiar with TWRP but your problem doesn't seem that big,you wiped the /system which should not affect your USB storage data (even if you wiped the USB storage it's not a problem),try to boot into the bootloader (volume up + power button) then go to recovery, mount the USB storage and put a ROM on it,then just flash the ROM and your device should boot up normally,i think you weren't stuck at the bootanimation since when you flash a new ROM the first boot could take from 5 to 10 minutes.
i usually do a clean install before flashing a new ROM (format system, data, cache, boot) and the device just boot up normally after flashing the new ROM so it's not a problem if you wiped your system just flash a new ROM.

I did this same thing a few weeks ago. I just had to reinstall everything (including the recovery) from fastboot. Worked like a charm.
I used the nexusshack tut to root my nexus had no problems.
You could go into recovery, mount usb storage, find the clockworkmod directory and copy that to your pc..
do a full data wipe and flash a new rom, then install rom manager flash CWM recovery . move the clockworkmod directory back to your phone. boot into recovery and restore you backup.
Just an idea .. not sure if it could work..(take no responsibility is it doesnt)

[Q] Lenovo A1 not booting after Installation of CM 7

hey guys,
today i took upon the task of rooting my first android device and installing cyanogenmod on it. i first installed fastboot and then clockwork for rooting. all went fine then i installed cyanogenmod. after the installation said it completed succesfully i restarted my tablet but now it just stays at the lenovo logo during booting. i still can get into the clockwork mod recovery menu. i already tried wiping data/cache both to no avail. i can also still boot into fastboot when i turn on the tablet and hold the vol+ button but it doesnt do anything.
i really, really hope i didnt brick on my first try, if anybody got ANY clue, i would be more than thankful
ok i fiddled around a little bit more and formatted /cache, /data and /emmc in hope of removing anything that might prevent my tab from booting. after that i got the stock recovery menu again from which i tried a factory reset. however, when the tab tries to install factory data it says it failed. luckily i have an sd card with cwm on it so i can boot into it again.
i think that somehow the files needed for a factory reset are damaged or gone. i will try flashing a new rom when i get myself a cardreader, i just used the a1 as mass storage until now.

[Stock] Boot loop, wipe doesn't help

I've got a T-Mobile phone with stock updated to the last version, with TWRP 2.6.3.0 and root. Everything worked fine for a couple of months.
A month ago the phone started to boot loop with no apparent reason. I've wiped everything, re installed stock, rooted and used the phone again. I've thought it might be an app updated that screwed something.
Anyway, I've only got the basic apps on the phone and today it happened again. I've read that I need to boot into bootloader and selecr "CLEAR STORAGE", I've tried that but it goes into recovery and there I can only wipe the data. I've did that and rebooted and it didn't help.
Any other ways to fix this without re installing the rom?
I think that if you use the clear storage option, you will have to reinstall the rom. I believe it wipes the system partition as well.
If you want to do this, you should flash the stock recovery (get it here)
Go into the bootloader and select the clear storage option.
Then you can flash CWM or TWRP recovery again and install the ROM.

[Q] Moto G Stuck in CM12 Boot Loop

My Moto G, model XT1032 is stuck in a CM12 bootloop. I can boot into fastboot mode and ClockWorkMod Recovery.
So far I have tried re-flashing the CM12 ROM with no success, I have downloaded the original firmware and tried to flash that but I get a "Preflash Validation Failed" error, my phone won't show up on RSD, and I have tried wiping the phone to it's factory setting.
None of these worked and I am out of ideas. Are there any other options to try?
Thanks.
Did you ever have the GPE ROM on your phone? Does your data partition uses f2fs?
If you are getting the validation error when flashing motoboot.img, that is because your current bootloader is newer than the bootloader you are trying to flash.
Hi, I'm fairly certain I had the GPE ROM on it. It was what it came shipped with, that is all I know. As for the data partition I am unsure of the format of it, how would I go about finding this information?
Thanks.
If it has the GPE ROM, it would not use f2fs for data. Do you have twrp on it? If you do, boot into twrp, advanced wipe, and check partition info.
I do not have twrp, I have ClockWorkMod. How do I check the partition on this?
In CWM, go to wipe & format options, custom format options, toggle f2fs<->ext4 migration. Then wipe data, cache, Dalvik, and reboot.
I don't have those options on my CWM, All I have is Reboot, Install Zip, Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache Partition, Backup and Restore, Mounts and storage and advanced. I am using version 6.0.4.6 of CWM.
Install the latest version of Philz Touch for your phone.
Okay, I did that and now my device hangs at the Motorola Bootloader Unlocked Warning screen. Should I flash a new ROM such as CM or try again with the motoboot?
I would do a full wipe and re-install to see what happens.
It's just gone back into the CM boot loop where it hangs at the pulsing CM logo. Should I try a different version of CM that is more stable?

I'm running the latest CM12 on my xt1032 with no problem.
You may need to flash back to stock 4.4.4, re-install Philz, and them CM12.
The partition layout on the GPE ROM is different than the partition layout on the stock.
Do you know where I can find the stock 4.4.4 file? I can't seem to locate one?
Try here: http://motofirmware.center/files/category/26-falcon/
Thanks, I got 4.4.2 running fine. Any advice on how to avoid getting stuck in another bootloop when I try to re-flash CM12?
Install the latest Philz, create a backup, then flash a ROM of your choice. To be safe, do a full wipe, including system, but not internal storage, before and after the ROM was been flashed.
Okay, Thanks for all your help.
So it all worked? I hope it did.
I'm afraid to say it did not work, It just went back into the boot loop.
How about flashing stock 4.4.4 or ota to the latest stock before flashing cm.
Are you flashing the cm for your phone?

Hard-bricked my moto G - need help.

Hello fellas,
I had few problems with my Moto G. I was on official Moto lolipop.
I've unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP, flashed SlimRom from dev thread, but it was hard to boot (bootlooping after phone restart, I was forced to turn down, and then turn on the phone, and sometimes it was booting) and I wanted to flash other rom, without ,,hard boot" problem.
And there is how I bricked my phone.
When I tried to wipe data in TWRP (factory/cache wipe) my phone reboots suddenly. It didn't wipe anything. It just reboot my system. I tried many times - always ending with reboot.
So, I tried to flash AICP rom without wiping anything. I installed it, and I had ,,android.acore has stopped working" error. Phone was rebooting often.
I tried to wipe my data again, without succeed. It was rebooting, and I've seen all my apps I had installed before.
I though it was TWRP fault, so I flashed CM recovery. Same thing occured. Next, I flashed CWM recovery. Same situation (reboot after choosing wipe).
So, I deleted my userdata and cache from fastboot, and tried this to solve my problems :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/how-to-to-stock-5-0-2-motorola-lollipop-t3077806
Unfortunetly, it didn't helped me. Now I have one big bootloop.
What to do? Help me, please.
Thank you for your time!
////EDIT
I think I know whats happening. I have deleted my partition accidentally... I have Internal storage 0MB free, and mount errors... Is there a way to fix that, or I am screwed?

Easiest thing to do . Reflash stock via fastboot
I tried, my friend. Bootloop. Always bootloop.
I think I have deleted my partition accidentally... I have Internal storage 0MB free, and mount errors...
