It's down here in Arizona as well. They took my info and are holding one for me...very irritating. Horrible launch by AT&T standards.

same here i went to the att store in glendale ca and they said all systems are down so i called a few more stores and they also confirmed systems are down so i went to order online and it too is down o'well i guess i stick with my ip5.
Down is So Cal as well..
I returned a HTC One for the S4 and they did it manually for me..

No kidding, I planned my day around this as I live 45 minutes away from my closest store. Figured I'd pick up the phone have lunch and watch a movie....this was starting at 10am.
I know it's a computer thing not a local employee's fault, but I will be asking for a free accessory or a discount as this whole launch was a horribly executed from start to finish.

I am willing to bet AT&T's response would be "soon". That seems to be their response on all issues these days. Well, honestly I didn't answer your question but AT&T is really starting to pi*s me off at this point. And maybe it's a bit of the conspiracy theorists coming out of me, but I find it odd that AT&T suffers such a large computer failure on the day of a launch that they have pretty much screwed up all of the way to this point. Something just doesn't smell right here.
well the AT&T chat rep didn't know what I was talking about, so I gave her the link to this thread. She read it and found it interesting and sent it up but asked me to call the customer svc number which I didn't bother calling. (after hrs anyway).
I hung around all day, went out for lunch, went to a movie, went shopping, had dinner, but by 6:45pm their systems were still down. Keep in mind I had a10am store appointment. How could this launch be any worse?!?!

same thing happened to me in socal. no upgrades available because of some system-wide error. so pissed. i hope it is ready tomorrow...
I went in around 12, and they told me the systems were down. Went to Target, and they said the phone was ready to buy, so I agreed. The man came after 15 minutes and said the systems were down. After calling all day, they said hopefully by the morning they would have it ready. I asked them why the system was down, and they said it had to do with the East Coast launch, and mentioned that it, "messed the systems up." AT&T really needs to get their **** together.
Well, it couldn't have been anything too high up the chain. I manage an at&t authorized retailer and we experienced no issues whatsoever at any of our 10 stores. If the switch was backed up, that would have affected all channels' activations. You guys should check out your local dealers if they're still having issues tomorrow.

So I finally had the power button sink down inside of my Thunderbolt, this is the second time it's happened in less then 20 days. Once again I sent HTC an email regarding the issue (as I did last time) but this time I recieved no help. So I called Verizon and spoke to a nice lady named Christine, who once I explained everything to her how the issue was known etc etc...
Verizon now has a reference number thats already ready in front of the reps thats strictly for this issue. I will recieve my "new phone" on Tuesday. Just wanted to post this so others who are having this isuue and even if you are out of your 14 days, even though you still have a 1 year manf. warranty, due to the high amounts of this issue, Verizon is not questioning this matter and will gladly set you up with a return.

If it's sitting lower than your volume button on the side of the phone, it's sunken in.
Mine is sunken in, but it doesn't bother me.. Doesn't effect the function at all and my case covers the button so it feels the same.

hope this doesnt happen to me. took 2 returns to finally get a phone which had a working headphone jack and power button out of the box.
i have had this since day4 but i dont feel like re-rooting a new one to have the button perfect

Yea I have noticed this as well. At first I was taking them seriously. Now its just too obvious.
The reference number for the insurance they have and its not "given out" to customers, it's used to easily process the claim and not ask 100 questions to you. Also make sure they don't "deactivate" your 4G Sim which they did mine, had to return to a Verizon store today to get another one. It has to have an active line, which this is what I was told. Either way I'm still expecting a new phone tomorrow, hopefully won't have this issues anymore.
And yes please make sure you un-root.

I called about 10 stores now including radio shack and no one seems to have it. Doing a google search I found that people have bought them in store as early as April 21st. Why can't I find one in the Bay Area?

I ended up ordering one from the website. Took a week for me to receive it, and looks like the box was opened. I suspect it was the delivery carrier that opened it as it came 2 days late.

I have a moderate amount of mura (the ink marks shown here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658601) on my screen, it's really bugging me. I tend to use my phone in bed at night a lot, so I can see it quite often.
I noticed it hours after coming home from the store with the phone. Went back the next day, the rep that sold the phone to me told me he'd have to see it in order for me to swap, but I had a hard time showing it to him in the store. We even went back to their break room, he turned out the light / closed the blinds, but it still wasn't dark enough to see it.
I'm still within the 14 days, is there any hope for me?
It's been my experience that dealing with customer support over the phone tends to get me farther with issues such as this rather then going back to the store you actually purchased the phone.

I have not yet, I will give that a try tomorrow.
I had this issue with my RAZR. Going to the store and actually getting the guy to go in a back office and admit to seeing it got me no where. He said all phones are like that.
I walked out of the store called customer service and within 5mins they were overnighting me a cln device.
Id recommend calling over going in on anything now.

Not really sure how that would help, I didn't even say what color I have now.
I talked to a technical representative on the phone who told me their policy is I have to exchange at the store I bought the phone from. I'm almost ready to pay the restock fee and downgrade back to my old phone.

Went back to the store, talked to two more representatives, both told me the phone doesn't have a problem. Will have to call Samsung tomorrow, but I don't think they'll help me either.
Went to Best Buy and had to exchange my S4 for another one. My phone kept losing connection to the network. It did it 3 times and all my text messages and missed calls would pop up all at once a couple hours later. Anyone else had problems? I don't know if it was the update. Seemed like everything started going wrong after.
I was in WalMart yesterday and asked the guy behind the electronics counter of they've had a lot of gs4 returns. He pointed to two boxes behind the counter and said those were the only two they've sold and both were returned days later for losing their connection to the network. This is in Leitchfield, KY.

Hmm, don't know whats going on. I was thinking about getting the htc one but I came out with the same phone again. This one seems a lot more responsive. I don't know if I want to update it or just wait. I might have just got a bad phone. It's rarely that I have issues like that. The guy at Best Buy said most of their returns were because of lag.
Sure hope this doesn't happen with mine.

a buddy of mine had a similar issue on the SG4 and HTC One; turns out it was his sim card. which, by the way, was brand new. hope you guys have better luck.
Checked my phone for the update. Seems like it was already updated. So this phone must have been just delivered to the store the other day with the update preinstalled. I've only had the phone freeze one time when I was using the camera last night. Other than that everything is working great.

I haven't gotten mine yet, as I'm not eligible for upgrade until June. I'm on the fence when it comes to color, though. If I go with black, I'll definitely get the 32GB, but I'm kinda diggin' the white.

Its kind of weird that it went to my girlfriend's address.
My mom bought it for my birthday, I used it for about a year, then let my girlfriend use it for a while, then I was using it for a few months up until I got my Nexus 5.

Instead of $19 per litigant, LG should have provided ICS and we would be happy with that but the lawyers must be paid their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so they settled for the cash to get their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$... Lawyers get the most $ out of any class-action lawsuit which is why class-action lawsuits are a farce.

I bought mine used, and I got the postcard.
I'm pretty sure T-Mobile is able to see what phone is being used on their network.

I got my post card yesterday.
$19 is a ridiculuos amount. but something is better than nothing. Submitted my online claim today.
You don't need to have a claim form to get the money,go to LGPhoneSettlement.com to file a claim. I might get $28 because I had a replacement a few months after buying one.
I heard we get an additional $19 for each replacement phone too.. Which is nice since I got like 5
It is very mysterious how they knew what addresses to send them to.
The address I'm currently living at has never been on my t-mobile account. They're obviously pulling public records searches based on both purchase and usage data from T-Mobile.
I bought mine new from an eBay dealer and I also got one replacement from that dealer. The letter says that you have to had bought your phone from T-Mobile in order to get your $19 and that you might have to submit proof of this. I think it's just a load of BS on LG's part.

I got this as well and got rid of the g2x a few months after release. Thou i think they sent it out to all T-Mobile customers because my mom got one and she never owned a g2x.
