[app][2.2+] Thermal Photo - Android Apps and Games

Hello XDA,
Realize a thermal picture is expensive and requires specialized equipment, but this app lets users make a thermal photo for free.
The app enables you to do thermal pictures of a room, a house facade, although it will be less accurate than the specialized equipment, but it allows you to:
- To have a general understanding of the insulation efficiency in your home
- Identify the coldest and the hottest point of your home

No, The app does not made measure what is impossible from a phone, it is you job to measure, and educate these values in the app that will manufacture the image automatically

how to find the app? The design is good?

Great man, just great! We know the phone doesn't measure Thermal, but yes, when you "educate" the app, it is very amazing. Keep up the good work! I'd like to see more of your work.
+Cool story, bro!

What do you think about the app ?

I am a Level 2 Thermographer and would like to know more about your application. Like, how you can base any kind of heat level, even given the ambient temperature, from a high definition color image? Or what is it that you are attempting to emulate or give a representation of?

My app consist to help you for make a thermal photo for do this you need do this steps :
-Take a picture of your home, house wall ...
-define the number of measurement taking (the precision of the picture depends on this parameter )
-measurement the temperature each zone of you picture with a infra- red thermometer
-indicate his values in the app
The resulta is not a professional picture but this gives an approximation
To carry out the measurement must be used an infrared thermometer
I don't emulate but i give an approximation representation .
But I'm working on a new algorithm for have a best color attributin

I had to read the OP a couple of times before it sank in...
The app is just a regular camera application that allows you to split a picture into segments. Each segment can be assigned a temperature value, which needs to be measured by hand. After measurements are entered, the app will assign a different color to each segment based on the temperature reading. Once they are all in, the app will sort-of look like a thermal picture (nowhere near it from the screenshots I have seen). I have used thermal cameras in the past and that is why this thread caught my eye, but from a practical standpoint (and likely why you are asking), it is not what you think it is and yes, it pretty much will not do what you need it to do.
IR imge sensors... now that would be an interesting feature to have

new video for explain how use the app :

Thanks for the explanation, I have a good understanding of how thermal imagery works and was disillusioned by the OP and the purpose and function of the app.

Can I have your opinion from the App

IDEA : 4x4 level and tilt meter

If anyone out there wants an app idea.
Using the g sensor on the HD2 display two views of a 4wd.
One view (Top) is a rear view showing tilt left to right.
The second (Bottom) shows a side view showing its tilt front to back.
Requirements maybe skinnable and also a reset/zero button to compensate for mounting.
Basically as your driving the images rotate to show what angle and slope you are driving on.
That would be a cool app...

Tryed a few inclinometers but it's not the same...

Been playing with this tool. Pretty close.
Only needs a graphic change and screen saver blocker. Would be cool if it could re-call a previous zeroing.

Tomas.
Is it possible to get it working in Portrait mode?
Well, actually this would be not a problem.
Development modifications are minor to make it portrait, but there is lot of work with graphics. Therefore I have to wait a long time for the graphics from my designer.
Check this out...

Well,it seems to have some memory problem. I see this kind of problem during development first version. The rotation pictures are stored separately in 162 position images in one bitmap. This bitmap is quiet large with dimensions 1250x2125. 125x125 pixels per one image,10x16+1x2 in matrix. 125sq is also reason, that the image is not VGA sharp. If I tried to have 250x250pix images, the bitmap was so huge, that cannot load into the memory and I had same problem. What's your free memory? Tried softreset before starting?
I also have the same issue.
No pretty Lada.
Hello.
So I have replaced resources,so this is much smaller rotation image to fit into memory.
Try this out...
Please note, actually this is not a cab,but exefile with renamed extension.
Hello, the attached file is corrupted ...
Btw,if you want to use different "cars",you can create your own and post me them. In attachment, they are some examples.

Maybe because it is an exefile, not a cab?
did you renamed the extension to exe?
Sorry for that, but I cannot upload larger exefiles,XDA server doesn't allow it.
And that's an executable for your PDA,not PC.
Ok,it's really an exe file,i convert it to a cab file .
I posted this file just for a test for those, who has problems with car displaying. Can you confirm,if this works for you(if original doesn't)?

Very handy app, thanks!
Nice app!
Any chance you could add an option to round up/down to however many decimal places?
Thanks!
Downloading... thank you
This is a nice, clean little app. I like the ability in options to include/exclude various units of measurement. I love the esoteric selection (Firkins!) and was going to suggest you add even more. Then I noticed the individual category settings... you pretty much packed everything in there. Impressed, I am.
The swipe to change units/categories works very well and the app overall does very well to avoid unintentional unit changes. It might be nice to have an option to enable simple (short) click to change units/categories for those situations where you have many different conversions and aren't subject to the horrors of random-click FUBAR. My only other suggestion would be to add a dark theme for the iOS haters, and frankly, light text on dark background is just easier on the eyes.
Overall this is the cleanest unit converter I've seen. While the Google search bar will duplicate most of these functions, it requires network access, and doesn't always work if searches aren't typed just right. I always keep a unit converter app on my phone and this is definitely the new contender.
Strong work, dev. Looking forward to future releases!
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but for me, this would give it the finest set of pearly whites. I use these for electronic compass applications at work. I understand if it's of no use to anyone else though. A wise old co-worker once told me that 'we as engineers are not demographically significant'.
Thanks!
Scientific units/Magnetic field:
From Wikipedia (Tesla)
1 tesla is equivalent to:
10,000 (or 104) G (gauss), used in the CGS system. Thus, 10 G = 1 mT (millitesla), and 1 G = 10−4 T.
1,000,000,000 (or 109) γ (gammas), used in geophysics. Thus, 1 γ = 1 nT (nanotesla)
For those concerned with low-frequency electromagnetic radiation in the home, the following conversions are needed most:
1000 nT (nanotesla) = 1 µT (microtesla) = 10 mG (milligauss)
1,000,000 µT = 1 T
Layout is quite excessively broken when screen density is changed, see attached screenshot! Makes the app basically unusable. Shame, it really looks like it would be excellent.

Hi 'ericssonka' thanks for this awesome app. It's really useful for me, but I have a suggestion lingering around my mind. Why don't we have difference between two dates. for example: Difference between Jan 13, 2011 to July 5, 2011 including two dates (173days).
I feel this functionality is good to have. Feel free to present your thoughts. .
Very handy, thanks.

DeblurIt is a professional way to sharpen blurry photos. It provides unrivaled clarity and successfully removes motion blur, out-of-focus blur, gaussian blur from your images. Fix photo blur and sharpen non-blurred images with DeblurIt!
It uses progressive algorithms based on deconvolution technology. While commonly used "unsharp mask" filter just detects the edges and adds them to the original image, deconvolution uses information within the image to approximately restore the original state and fix photo blur. Deconvolution perfectly restores photos with large defects, recovering lost details. DeblurIt is the only app that supports deconvolution on Android (28.02.2013)
You can also use unsharp mask filter that removes blur in more standard way. It is the best fit for small defects.
Auto mode uses unsharp mask to quickly remove small blur from the photo.

The interface is far from perfect but it does quite a good job. Here's a test-picture. The text is complete unreadable in the original. The app made it readable again. From now on I won't be so sceptical anymore when someone in a movie says "can you enhance that security cam picture?".
the title says 2.3+ but market shows 2.2+. ....
and can you attach apk in attachments please?
I have been looking for something like this but unfortunately I can't get it to work on any testing I have done including out of Focus, Gaussian and Motion blurred pics. I tried all settings and at least 10-15 tests for each setting and still cant see any improvement at all. Maybe I don't understand the app but for me it didn't work. EVO LTE with Evolve 4.2.2

With motion blur it would be nice to see an example of the angle. Is 0 a vertical blur and 90 a horizontal blur?
It would be nice to see a detail of the picture when previewing because on the small image I can't see much details.
The checkbox 'greyscale' isn't clear (it only applies to the final image I guess). The preview is always greyscale.
Pinch to zoom would be nice.

SUMX or SUM TEN is a simple number game where u have to add ten random numbers that appear one after another with a specific time delay between two numbers, then enter the answer and move to the next stage where the time delay decreses. Isn't that simple?? It actually isn't simple( this did beat my friend atleast).

"A simplest Game to Controlling & Empowering our senses"
Well my first thought was " Its the simplest TOUGH game, I ever played "
SumX targets your two important senses i.e EYES and EARS
Numbers appears on screen on a fast regular interval and we need to add them up - seems so simple but not really. Speedy calculation requirements hits our intellect. Besides the vocal output will try to misguide your Viewing sense !!!
Well d developer dont allowed us to take a breathe before we complete a level. Hence I view a powerful challenge in SumX
Must try this game.
I would like to rate it 4.5 stars out of 5.
And a AA+ for developers thinking !!!
Suggestions:
1. Time limit to encode my answer was not the really tough task which tighten up with every level, I feel. I meant I i could add up all digits I must have encoded right answer in almost same speed. Hence time to encode my answer should not be the parameter of Tightening of Higher Levels.
2. What really matters here was time duration between each number flips on screen and That can be the variety as we go up in levels.
3. Eyes can be further challenged with a sequences of various transitional effects to show up the Numbers on screen. This may be implemented to make the SumX more challenging.

I really liked it, it's very simple yet challenging. Maybe you can improve it a little by changing the color palette (blue dialog boxes, blue buttons and overall blue backgrounds together doesn't look very good) and giving a little more margin and/or center the text in the dialog boxes (it is too close to the left margin imho).
Didn't reach too far on the game but haven't found any bugs whatsoever. I'd rate it 4.5/5 too, good work!! :good:

[APP] Expose - Live Portrait Filters and Glitch Effects (from creators of VIMAGE app)

Hey everyone!
I'd like to introduce you to my new app called Expose. It was released on 24th of December (on Christmas Eve, also, on my birthday)
So here's the compressed story of this app:
View attachment logo.webp
Background
I'm Ahmed Harmouche, co-founder and CTO of VIMAGE, a popular photo animation app.
For about 4 years we have been developing VIMAGE with the goal to create the most realistic photo animation app.
Hello GPU
This summer I started playing around with other techniques, forgetting a bit about our "most realistic" mission, and moving towards artistry, colors, lights, glitch, and other things I found interesting. From a technical point of view I transitioned from the CPU based Canvas (VIMAGE rendering is 99% CPU and Canvas based) world, to the GPU based OpenGL + fragment shader world.
I found it quite fascinating what amazing effects you can achieve in fragment shaders. I browsed a lot through Shadertoy and learned from the cool shaders created by this amazing community.
Move the glitch!
As I looked around I saw glitch effects are quite popular, on photos and in videos as well. The apps out there for photo produce static glitch photo output, video glitch editors, of course, produce video, but I didn't see apps producing glitch videos from photos. There are some, but they don't focus on moving filters. Photoshop Camera for example, they have some presets that move, but only a handful. So I wanted an app the focuses on moving glitch filters.
The app
Only glitch though? As I researched a bit more I found other interesting effects that could fit in the app: dual lightning, split color, color switch, drip art. These are all effects that you can find (more or less) in other apps like PicsArt, but they are all static. So I put them also in the app, as moving filters.
The other twist in the app, besides that filters are live, is that filters can affect only the background, only the foreground, or the whole photo, automatically, by a technique called Saliency Object Detection, achieved using a neural network. So when I code a preset, I can specify what effect I want on each layer.
An important aspect of the app is that it is preset based. The reason of this is that as VIMAGE grew big and quite advanced from the initial "pick an effect and generate" workflow, I wanted to go back to simplicity. Just select a preset, and everything is set for you. But as Albert Einstein said "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler", I also provided some seekbars so that the user can tweak the parameters of the presets. One missing piece for not breaking this "no simpler" rule is manual masking. If AI foreground selection fails, filters can look bad, so manual masking is needed in this case.
So summarized, the app is a preset-based photo editing app, that focuses on moving, looping (glitch) filters, and can automatically apply filters on background and foreground.
The release
After some internal testing, and a short pre-registration period, we went live on 24th of December. It's very early to draw any conclusions, as numbers are pretty small yet, but as I see the analytics a large percentage of users save and share their work, so it seems they like what they're creating. As what's next: I'm fixing crashes, and analyzing the data, to see with which preset categories the users engage the most, and then I will focus more on those categories.
This release was very exciting for me, as the whole tech stack of the app is completely different from VIMAGE: It is written in Kotlin, using Android Architecture Components, and the rendering is OpenGL based.

Future plans
At the initial idea stage I knew I wanted this app to be a platform where others can create presets and share them. The reason is that now I'm the one who codes the presets, but I'm sure there are a lot of more creative editors/creators out there who can build a lot more amazing effects than me, so why not let them do so? It's like when you build a game engine, you won't necessarily build the best games. Or if you know how to make a guitar, will you be the best guitar player? The other reason is that I think an in-app community, a platform can drive user engagement and retention.
So, that's all folks! I hope you will like the app, and any feedback, suggestion is greatly appreciated!
