If anyone out there wants an app idea.
Using the g sensor on the HD2 display two views of a 4wd.
One view (Top) is a rear view showing tilt left to right.
The second (Bottom) shows a side view showing its tilt front to back.
Requirements maybe skinnable and also a reset/zero button to compensate for mounting.
Basically as your driving the images rotate to show what angle and slope you are driving on.
That would be a cool app...

Tryed a few inclinometers but it's not the same...

Been playing with this tool. Pretty close.
Only needs a graphic change and screen saver blocker. Would be cool if it could re-call a previous zeroing.

Tomas.
Is it possible to get it working in Portrait mode?
Well, actually this would be not a problem.
Development modifications are minor to make it portrait, but there is lot of work with graphics. Therefore I have to wait a long time for the graphics from my designer.
Check this out...

Hi Tomas!

Hmmm,strange... I don't understand, what exactly is wrong. Can you describe it better? Maybe screenshot will be helpful. Btw,tried on many devices, without problem.

Well,it seems to have some memory problem. I see this kind of problem during development first version. The rotation pictures are stored separately in 162 position images in one bitmap. This bitmap is quiet large with dimensions 1250x2125. 125x125 pixels per one image,10x16+1x2 in matrix. 125sq is also reason, that the image is not VGA sharp. If I tried to have 250x250pix images, the bitmap was so huge, that cannot load into the memory and I had same problem. What's your free memory? Tried softreset before starting?
I also have the same issue.
No pretty Lada.
Hello.
So I have replaced resources,so this is much smaller rotation image to fit into memory.
Try this out...
Please note, actually this is not a cab,but exefile with renamed extension.
Hello, the attached file is corrupted ...
Btw,if you want to use different "cars",you can create your own and post me them. In attachment, they are some examples.

Maybe because it is an exefile, not a cab?
did you renamed the extension to exe?
Sorry for that, but I cannot upload larger exefiles,XDA server doesn't allow it.
And that's an executable for your PDA,not PC.
Ok,it's really an exe file,i convert it to a cab file .
I posted this file just for a test for those, who has problems with car displaying. Can you confirm,if this works for you(if original doesn't)?

... that show Microlab's new Iolite-based WM 6.1 Manila TouchFlo 2D ROM in action. There are about 88 slides total, but the max size is 50 per slideshow, thus in 2 parts. I will post Part 2 tomorrow. I'm interested in knowing if this seems helpful to people, and if so, explain please.
LINK TO WATCH PART 1 SLIDESHOW (displays at Photobucket.com)
To see this ROM RELEASE thread, go here:
One thing you might note from this photo above: I choose to place my TODAY tab all the way to the right, and in the more customary "home" position I place PROGRAMS. Since my background is usability design, this is my reason, but everyone is different, and that's what makes these newer, easily customizable interfaces finally user-friendly for mainstream:
When I turn on my phone, I usually have something to do, maybe use google maps, maybe make an audio note. I don't care if I see the large clock telling me what time it is. I can see the time in the top task bar of the PROGRAMS page... but with PROGRAMS as my "home" screen, I immediately am able to finger-tap my primary apps without first having to slide to find the tab.
Second: If I do want to go to TODAY screen, it is half-a-second away, without even looking at my phone. I just slide the bottom tab-bar all the way right. It ends on "Today" so I don't have to slow down to make sure which tab I am on. These are my personal preferences.
In this Slideshow you will see: Phone with "Slide To Unlock 2", then "Today" page of the Touchflo 2D interface. Then a survey of Programs, People, Weather, etc, and use of tools like Total Commander.
I'm going to work out a way to tag each slide with a number or name reference so discussion can be posted about the functionality or controllable elements of any object on any page shown. For now, we will be winging it on the T-Mobile WING.

I like the rom exactly as done in your slideshow but the download link you posted shows a different rom. I am confused on how to make it look like the one above!
I like how the program menu is on the above rom, pretty cool!
That's a really nice looking rom. Thank you for sharing those pictures because they really give a better idea for choosing a custom rom.

Yeah, I know... I am new to TouchFlo, but I started searching on XDA for different themes/skins, and started to apply different themes.
There is an application available here at XDA called "M2dc" -- get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392 which enables people to very easily change their touchflo themes... by allowing people who know how to customize to export their themes as "m2dt" files (manila touchflo 2d THEME files).
Then: THIS THREAD has hundreds of themes you can choose from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451702
See post #6 where they begin showing the screenshots.
====
By the time I posted this slideshow, I had been experimenting with a bunch of these themes, but I do not know if I still have an m2dt theme file for this... because then I chnaged the bottom slide bar to be blue on white, for hiugher contrast, and then I chnaged the programs boxes from dark to light, for same reasons.
I will try to find the version in the slideshow. I changed the font size and colors -- which is also something you can do very easily with M2DC customization tool.
Hi everyone,
I am wondering if it is possible to change the height of the top and bottom navigation bars in WM5. All I managed to find was ways of changing font size/color - either through SK Tools or directly in the registry, but nothing on the size of these two bars.
These bars are so awkwardly thick for a VGA resolution and waste so much screen space (especially when browsing the internet and I don't want to go in full screen mode).
I noticed that OzVGA does make these bars much thinner, but I am guessing it is because it shrinks all screen items.
If these is a way to do this, please just give me the registry items I need to change, I think I will manage.

you can change them using vjtoggletodayiialpha.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=243211
you can search it up in the registry after running it and change its parameters..
it's not too useful tho.
Thank you, but this doesn't really work for me.
1. Does not toggle Start / Menu bar - first click hides it, second click does not show it etc.
2. It hides the nav bars, does not make them thinner.
3. Played with the registry and tried changing the values of the classes - nothing...
4. Read (on, skimmed through) all the pages of the thread - no useful info on how to do this myself, without an external application.
So, I assume there is nothing editable in the original registry that does the trick and it takes adding new registry bits to achieve anything. Since, however, I have no idea how to write completely new stuff (changing is OK, that I can do), is it then a desperate situation?
I will appreciate any further ideas (and keep reading the thread to see if anything lies hidden in it...)

Hi,
These bars are files in the *.png format. Only way to have 'm smaller is replace them, but then you'll need to edit other files too...
Dirk
Hi dirlan2001,
I don't think these are .png files. In SK Tools I have Colors Settings and it's all colors, even the gradients, given in number codes.
Also, in:
HKLM¥Software¥Microsoft¥Color
there are only numeric values for colors, no files.
And then, there are no such images in the Windows folder
I use MvRTrueVGA which is a package I put together ages ago for the Dell Axim.
It reduces the top and bottom bars down to only 26 pixels which is the perfect size for me.
It doesn't work perfectly on WM6.1 and WM6.5. But the things that it messes up are only some settings screens and the comm manager app. Which I can live without. Also some apps that are programmed specifically for the QVGA screen sometimes only show in the top right corner of the screen.
Give it a try if you like. The link is in my sig.
hmm, it's half of the original size. nice.

Sorry, what? Do you mean the screenshot? I decreased it slightly (from the original 640x480) because it looked huge, but further decreasing made text blurred and unreadable.
> markvan: Thanks! I tried the MvRTrueVGA ... Makes stuff way too small and I was unable to find a way (in registry?) to increase font size and icon size so that they are clickable (or tap-able). Also, my software keyboard disappeared I could not be started. Also, on screen rotate sometimes the screen went black and fuzzy (like in a TV that's lost signal).
Maybe you can share some knowledge about how to control just the width of the bars, if possible, without any further adjustments?
I was looking for a way to do this on the Treo Pro - I just need a couple of pixels to make all my stuff fit on my today screen....
I will try your software.
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS! IT MAY CHANGE OFTEN SO CHECK IT MORE THAN ONCE!
Hey there,
i'm trying to program my own rpg for android, so my need is some custom, random map creator to use it.
i wrote some code myself and i'm pretty sure it's working.
BUT:
i'd like you to post some screensots of my app running on your phone.
Cause i don't have more than one android device
so here is what i want YOU to do:
screenshot of my app on your phone
your screen resolution
your device name
describe every bug/error you notice on your device
changelog:
v0.1
initial release
map with fixed size of every field
map maximum size depends on device screen resolution
map could grow over screen borders
nav pad could be scaled down to unusable
v0.2
fieldsize scaled depending on device screen resolution
nav pad width scales down on small devices
nav pad max width set to 300px (for big screens)
v0.3
map movement enhanced - instant movement, even on 100x100 maps
map creation enhanced - no more just one big chunk on a map corner
Click to collapse
known issues:
map creation times rises no more extremly, but still fast
SOLVED movement in big maps nearly impossible
left pixels on screen bottom and right
field could scale to small
PS: this app can't harm you or your device. it don't need any permission
PPS: thanks in advance :highfive:
so here is what i want exactly:
- screenshot of my app on your phone
- details on max map size
- your screen resolution
- your device name
- describe every bug/error you notice on your device
1) First screenshot is when I first opened the app.
The second screenshot is when I set the map to 10 x 100.

2) Not sure what you meant. The third screen shot is 15 x 20. Is that the "max" you meant?
3) 480 x 854 pixels, 3.3 inches (~297 ppi pixel density)
4) Xperia Ray ST18i
5) No bug/error.
first, thanks for your reply
second, it's not exactly the max size i meant.
Maximum size should be, when your screen vertical is filled with the map, but no field is shown only half and horizontal the navigation buttons should be on the right border but still on an accessable size.
Cause later i need to set a fixed map size that should be playable for every device
edit: looks like your max size should be 12x13?
12 x 15 still looks okay. 12 x 16 and the buttons start changing size.
Ok,
looks like i have to set the size of the squares depending to the display resolution...
i got a friend to test it on an HTC One X with 1280x720 pixels and he was able to set a map sized to 18x25...
but i'm afraid how tiny this would go on older devices

DeblurIt is a professional way to sharpen blurry photos. It provides unrivaled clarity and successfully removes motion blur, out-of-focus blur, gaussian blur from your images. Fix photo blur and sharpen non-blurred images with DeblurIt!
It uses progressive algorithms based on deconvolution technology. While commonly used "unsharp mask" filter just detects the edges and adds them to the original image, deconvolution uses information within the image to approximately restore the original state and fix photo blur. Deconvolution perfectly restores photos with large defects, recovering lost details. DeblurIt is the only app that supports deconvolution on Android (28.02.2013)
You can also use unsharp mask filter that removes blur in more standard way. It is the best fit for small defects.
Auto mode uses unsharp mask to quickly remove small blur from the photo.
For those who actually believe the picture at the top is fake: here is zip archive with sample images used on Google Play's page and appropriate settings for the application.

I hope you enjoy it.

The interface is far from perfect but it does quite a good job. Here's a test-picture. The text is complete unreadable in the original. The app made it readable again. From now on I won't be so sceptical anymore when someone in a movie says "can you enhance that security cam picture?".
the title says 2.3+ but market shows 2.2+. ....
and can you attach apk in attachments please?
I have been looking for something like this but unfortunately I can't get it to work on any testing I have done including out of Focus, Gaussian and Motion blurred pics. I tried all settings and at least 10-15 tests for each setting and still cant see any improvement at all. Maybe I don't understand the app but for me it didn't work. EVO LTE with Evolve 4.2.2

With motion blur it would be nice to see an example of the angle. Is 0 a vertical blur and 90 a horizontal blur?
It would be nice to see a detail of the picture when previewing because on the small image I can't see much details.
The checkbox 'greyscale' isn't clear (it only applies to the final image I guess). The preview is always greyscale.
Pinch to zoom would be nice.
Really useful app, thanks!

Exotic Colors is a one of a kind application. First of all, it is a catalogue of over 700 named colors (e.g. Terra cotta, Beaver, Atomic tangerine). Also, it is a handy mobile “picker” – if you need to determine a color right here right now – just take a photo and analyze the color.
Use Exotic Colors to:
- learn new color names that you never imagined before
- analyze colors: determine names, convert to HSV, RGB, CMYK, XYZ etc. systems, see complementary, triadic colors, and much more
- save colors and create palettes
- share your palettes with friends/colleagues/customers via social networks, e-mail etc.
Requires Android: 2.2+
Size: 2.0 Mb
Supported languages: English & Russian
Available via Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anovoxer.exoticcolors
We appreciate your opinion for it will help us improve, so please do not hesitate to comment on our app!
As a photographer and web designer I'm liking the sound of this app. Especially since it can help identify and correlate colors into complementary etc, which is extremely helpful in designing layouts and schemes.
I'll check it out and rate it ASAP Just wanted to post since no responses yet, but looks nice!
Thank you! Hope you'll like it even more after you've tried it
I like it, its UI might could use some polish but it was intuitive enough first thing for me, and I'm not great at GUIs so not sure what to suggest. But intuitive enough to not be a big deal.
I pointed it around the office a bit, and while of course we're at the mercy of our camera for taking shots, the ability to load an image and analyze it is great. I'd most likely use it in that mode anyway since I don't really trust cameras on phones/tablets.
One suggestion.. Can you leave the pointer in the same place when scrolling an image, so one can use that to scroll an image to that spot? Tapping to move it is good, I like that. But if I've already set a spot and want to just move it a little bit, it'd be nice to be able to just scroll the image a little to that spot.
No functional issues, but some drawing issues. Nexus 7, haven't tried it on my phone. So all the info is there, but it's not quite drawn in the right place.
Thank you for the detailed feedback!
We will consider your suggestion about locking the picker in place :good: and then this drawing issue you highlighted (strange though that it draws like this, should have been fine... Anyway, thanks, we will try to fix it ).
Very nice very handy

Laboratory
I like this app a lot, one of the things though that caught was the Laboratory. The one thing I would personally suggest here is have it so that you can put your finger on the screen and drag the cursor around as well as tap to position it without moving the color pattern around the screen.
Very well done app, I've only got one other that comes close to this and that's the myPantone. Keep up the great work!
There are multiple times when I wished there was an app like this and now I'm so glad there is. Thanks so much!
Handy. Thanks
This app is beyond awesome! Good work! How do you share the saved colors?
Useful, thanks.
Minor issues, if you're interested:
1. does not cooperate with "Camera Zoom FX" (camera replacement app). App does not return after taking the photo. The app can do that, it works with Google Keep.
2. On the start screen, the two small square buttons are slightly stretched horizontally, and the right edge does not align with the other buttons.
Tested on four Xperia Rays (a specialty: the Ray reports a 480x854 240dpi screen, but it is really 300dpi).
Layout is ok on stock GB. It is stretched on stock ICS and two CM10 roms
3. At first try, I was panning the photo, expecting that the fixed crosshair would be the color picker. I would actually prefer it that way, because panning is more precise than tapping with my fingers
a bit confused, before i install this, i have a question:
if i take a picture, then open the app, will it be able to automatically tell me the color of the thing in the picture, or will i have to manually search for it?
Is the background of the color picker supposed to move around? Doesn't feel right.
And, please add a lighten/darken color button or slider in the Laboratory.
