Its' my pleasure...

I just always use the Android search box for this.

good one, but there's no ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) in money converter

Very handy app, thanks!

Nice app!
Any chance you could add an option to round up/down to however many decimal places?
Thanks!

Downloading... thank you

This is a nice, clean little app. I like the ability in options to include/exclude various units of measurement. I love the esoteric selection (Firkins!) and was going to suggest you add even more. Then I noticed the individual category settings... you pretty much packed everything in there. Impressed, I am.
The swipe to change units/categories works very well and the app overall does very well to avoid unintentional unit changes. It might be nice to have an option to enable simple (short) click to change units/categories for those situations where you have many different conversions and aren't subject to the horrors of random-click FUBAR. My only other suggestion would be to add a dark theme for the iOS haters, and frankly, light text on dark background is just easier on the eyes.
Overall this is the cleanest unit converter I've seen. While the Google search bar will duplicate most of these functions, it requires network access, and doesn't always work if searches aren't typed just right. I always keep a unit converter app on my phone and this is definitely the new contender.
Strong work, dev. Looking forward to future releases!

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but for me, this would give it the finest set of pearly whites. I use these for electronic compass applications at work. I understand if it's of no use to anyone else though. A wise old co-worker once told me that 'we as engineers are not demographically significant'.
Thanks!
Scientific units/Magnetic field:
From Wikipedia (Tesla)
1 tesla is equivalent to:
10,000 (or 104) G (gauss), used in the CGS system. Thus, 10 G = 1 mT (millitesla), and 1 G = 10−4 T.
1,000,000,000 (or 109) γ (gammas), used in geophysics. Thus, 1 γ = 1 nT (nanotesla)
For those concerned with low-frequency electromagnetic radiation in the home, the following conversions are needed most:
1000 nT (nanotesla) = 1 µT (microtesla) = 10 mG (milligauss)
1,000,000 µT = 1 T

Layout is quite excessively broken when screen density is changed, see attached screenshot! Makes the app basically unusable. Shame, it really looks like it would be excellent.

Hi 'ericssonka' thanks for this awesome app. It's really useful for me, but I have a suggestion lingering around my mind. Why don't we have difference between two dates. for example: Difference between Jan 13, 2011 to July 5, 2011 including two dates (173days).
I feel this functionality is good to have. Feel free to present your thoughts. .

Very handy, thanks.

Great app! Very useful.
Any chance of adding date/time to epoch time?
Thanks
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

Great app! One request though - any chance of adding numerical bases to the list of units (decimal, binary, hex, etc)?

Is this app available on the market?

I have suggestion. On my Nexus4 when I switch to Scientific, shifted options on upper rows of buttons stands just below buttons (like Shift DRG FES..) but I think they should be just above lower row than that (sin cos tan..) To simplify, for example, yellow shifted option "x^3" should be closer to "x^2" button instead of "cos" button. I think it's much intuitive. Sorry if I'm wrong. Cheers!

That's because this is almost a direct GUI lift of RealCalc. Squared edges and a few changed buttons, but pretty close.
If this app adds all the features it claims to, then it's significantly more powerful. I'll let the community decide.

[APP][4.0+] HoloConvert: The New Unit Converter

This is my new Unit Conversion app released today, HoloConvert. I felt that all of the current Android unit conversion apps are ugly and many aren't powerful enough, so I decided to make one of my own with a Holo interface in mind. I recieved great support on XDA for my last app Scientific 7 Minute Workout so I wanted to see if I could get some feedback for my newest app.

What makes this unit conversion app different?
Like I said before, I feel the user interface of an app is one of the most major components of an app. Even if an app works well, you shouldn't have to sacrifice on the looks or ease-of-use of an app. I made this app to target that, while implementing many features such as:
Saving your favorite conversion units
Adding new custom units
Tip Calculator
Multiple themes
Choice in decimal precision
Built-in calculator
I just released the app, so please let me know what you think and of any suggestions!
Wow this looks great!
Just downloaded and it's a great app! :good:
Just one suggestion can you give swap icon (similar like in google translate) so if we need to change from m to cm or vice versa from cm to m, we only need one tap
Definitely will buy it! Looking forward for next update
Beautiful work dev, keep up:good:
Thanks a lot guys! And how could I have forgotten a swap icon, added to my to-do list! I am very actively updating the app at this time (I've technically pushed out 3 updates so far) so keep the suggestions coming

That would be great. Also, some more currencies would be great, if you have the time (I kind of miss SEK).
Great app though! and at 0.79€, very affordable!
Scrolling through the units is extremely laggy on my phone, other buttons work with instant feedback. Somehow the list is really heavy to render.
I prefer asking google now for unit conversion but this is very nice app
Nice and handy app. One little bug, I cannot input negative numbers on the From input. E.g., when converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Just downloaded.
Looks very nice but I have two remarks.
On my SGS2 4.3" display, text is HUGE.
It would be nice to be able to select between few text sizes.
Nothing fancy, simple "Small, Medium, Large" selection.
You desperately need to implement reverse conversion.
If I choose meter as first unit and insert number "1", it works for Angstrom but cannot cope with AU.
You could implement simple swipe left or right to replace currently selected units
Also, question "Are you sure you wish to exit?" is unnecessary in my opinion.
Best wishes in new year!

Well I purchased it.
Will keep it but two issues so far.
The icon is ugly (will be nice to have something graphical)
The first conversion I tried was not accurate. There are exactly 12 inches to a foot so I selected convert feet to inches, selected 3 feet and it did not convert to exactly 36 inches.
Nice
Some current, resistance, voltage, ect. units, would be great. Nice job I can help with translation to polish.
great!
 it's cool
Very nice app. I just have not been able to enter a negative number for conversion.
For instance, if I attempt to enter -40 for a F to C for temp conversion, the "-" symbol does not appear to register as having been selected for input, despite the fact that the keyboard shows it available and I have entered it.

[APP][2.3+]Music Theory Helper

We made this app to help you easily understand and find info about music theory.
Okram UF is a Swedish company and we made this application as a product for our entrepreneurship class in school.

You can find information about:
- Chords
- Intervals
- Circle of fifths
- Note values
- Rests
- Scales
- Symbols (dynamics, notes, bars, key signatures)
- Ear trainer
Everything is free except "hard" and "expert" in Ear trainer. To unlock those difficulties you need to purchase the full version of Musik Theory Helper. You can purchase the full version from inside the app. We really appreciate if would do so.

We would really appreciate feedback!
Bump :highfive:
Hi, I've tried this app and I have some feedback:
Pros
Great UI! Nice to see some Card UI here, makes it look really sleek.
Overall some great content here, quite substantial material for beginners and more advanced musicians.
Touching the cards and hearing things played back is great!
Play Games leaderboard is a nice touch (1st in the world for Beginner Intervals and Medium chords, yeeeeah)
Great to see the Circle of Fifths - something often forgotten in many theory apps
Things to add/change:
It would help learning musicians a lot more to use scale degrees rather than just note names, eg. For a major chord, using I III V rather than C, E and G. It makes chord building a lot easier, though what you have done gives very nice examples of the different types of chords. Using both scale degrees and notes as examples would really help people who are starting out in theory.
Likewise with scales - it helps more to use TTSTTTST for major rather than use notes, and using both would be great.
Very nitpicky detail but a perfect unison refers to the distance between two notes. On your chords page, instead of using perfect unison its better to use "root"
Have an option for alternate note names - I use the "semibreve, quaver, crotchet" naming system so having an option to choose between the two would be nice.
Otherwise I'm thoroughly impressed with this app, definitely one of the better apps on the Play Store. Will recommend to my muso friends as well
(I'd happily provide my music theory knowledge if you want as well)

I have never used that kind of chord formula, but is the minor chord also I III V, since that chord gets the minor third from the minor scale?

For building triads its not Roman nunerals - its using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 and accidentals...

Major - 1 3 5
Minor - 1 b3 5
Aug - 1 3 #5
Dim - 1 3 b5

I like this calculator very much. It has everything I need but keeps the interface clear.
I like the ability to theme it too. Well done!
Finally after 2 years of searching a nice clear calc with %
:good: Nice app, very clean design. The ability to export the calculations to text/csv would be cool.
I have been looking for calculator for years but have to set on cm calc.
hexdecimal support is needed. most calc supports mode based hex/bin/dec which will not covert the expression/previous result.
Another important thing is to bring the expression from the history back instead of just result.
Have seen those beautiful apps. Really thinking whether I should make one myself.
The Gui is very well designed, well done
I love the UI
Note feature question
It looks really good. But i have questions regarding the sharing to note feature, since it intrigues me the most.
How does it work, exactly? Does it support Evernote? Does it export an image or the calculations? Is it editable (as in i touch it and it reopens in Calc?
I know the last one is farfetched but i gotta ask

Fantastic calculator app, I have been looking for something like this for several years since switching to Android Having a calculator with an editable history that doesn't look awful until now has been harder than it should have been till now
One suggestion though, unless it is something the app can already do but I have over looked is to be able to use the result of the previous calculation in something other than the first item on the next line. If you type an operator it automatically takes the result from the last calculation, but I'm not sure how to use the result elsewhere in the calculation, for example x ^ ans or similar.
Thanks!
really nice calculator app, thank you for the development!
Just made this calculator my device calculator. thank you

awesome!

I went on trips and find it hard to note expenses down. A calculator app doesn't allow me to take notes. A note taking app doesn't calculate the result for me. A full-blown expense tracking app is too complex for me. So I develop this app, Expense Lister.
It is as the screenshot shows. Numbers on your left and notes on your right. Just like taking note with pen and paper. It also supports multiple sheets.
Expense Lister both has a calculator function and you can note besides. It is automatically calculate for each number you input. You can always come back and track what each expense is. It is super simple just like a sheet of paper and a pen. You write number on the left and a note of the side.
Toggle between expense and income is a tap away. Tap at the sign in front of each record.
Your list of expense is calculated at the bottom of the screen, automatically.
Expense Lister automatically save data for you. It allows you to easily rearrange your list of expense with a drag and drop. Also, you can individually delete each record. Also, the app supports multiple sheets. You can use one sheet for a trip expense, another for a grocery, another for a meal. You can rename your sheet, too.
You can download it here.
Works as intended, it's easy to use with a clean interface.
