Lol. I thought you're trolling with the English, but I see you're in a different country. :good: for trying and knowing the basics
i9500 is the international version which does not support LTE but does have the Exynos ("octa-core") processor.
i9505 is the US, UK, German, etc version which contains the Snapdragon 600 (quad-core) processor. Supports LTE.

There are many many other threads on this. Please search before posting.
English may not be your first language, though with almost 500 posts here on XDA, you should know by now how this works.

I don't think you guys quite understand what he's trying to say....
He's trying to say that the I9505 should be called the international version since its going to most if the markets/countries...so in a way it is an international version...its just not labeled as the international version

This is true, they both are international version non lte or with LTE, Hong kong has both available at same price, your choice is dual quad core or LTE.
For what I read if you want the best of both, get the korean version SHV-E300K, dual quad core with LTE.

FWIW I've used firmwares from other countries flashing other android devices. Used the ICS ROM for Europe on my GTab 7.7 recently. Zedomax speaks of using different country ROMs in his posting on rooting so it would seem that as long as the device model is correct, one can flash away. Logically, that is. In the real world, things get fuzzy.
So the 900+mb files at sammobile should be the one that i have to download? Thanks

Alright so Cyanogenmod has posted on Google+ that the international S3 has a got a working 10.1 ROM. What is the difference in the two devices?

And are we gonna see a 10.1 ROM for the USA version?

Also less ram, and some other hardware. Oh and different partitions (that's why an international ROM hard bricks us).

I think we should see one soon but the devices are for the most part different. The international is running the Exynos 4412 with 1gb of ram while we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with 2gb of ram. So basically the hardest part of getting it working is completely different on the two devices.

Not to mention that dual Snapdragon S4 cores are almost as good as quad core A9 cores in benchmarks. They're probably better in most real world scenarios where the increased clock speed and ipc of the S4 will outperform in apps that aren't designed to take advantage of four cores.

Could be more bloat

Guys, just to let you know, some guys at Ace 2 forums bricked their devices by flashing China JB firmware to their non-chinese devices. It was most probably caused by diferrent radios (AFAIK there are diferrent GSM frequencies used in China). Be aware that the same can probably happen with this fw, too. But I can be wrong.
Attention!

yea thats why he gave his post that sarcastic title
it's for the t-mobile version he has (SGH-M919) which runs the SD600 (ie same as i9505)
He's using the T-Mobile S4, SD600 based platform

I doubt that the new TW will look much different than it does now. And I'm sure that when official 4.4 makes its way to our device it'll be ruined in some way by Samsung. There are a lot of things I like about TW but pure AOSP KitKat is going to win every time

There's still some things broken in CM 10.2 and the other 4.4 ROMs that are being worked on, which is why I still use 4.3 at the moment. Source coding should make it easy to fix those issues, and fully functional ROMs should come from it.
But I could be wrong, that's just my experience from other phones and other android versions. And what Samsung released today may not even be the same kind of source coding that I'm thinking of.

When the 4.4 GPE update hits, it'll be easily converted to work on all carrier S4's based off the Snapdragon 600. The international version, however, is a completely different story.

No, that OTA is for the Google Play Edition S4. Not the i337 or any other i337X phone.
But if you have a recovery installed on your i337X, then you can install a ported version of this OTA.
I doubt i337X will see KitKat OTA official for 3-4 more months.

Yes, the reason why I posted this was for your mentioned reason, custom recovery installs. I wasn't referring to any 4.4 based TW OTAs from the carriers.
