Heyho everybody,
AlienSurf is a little game I developed while learning OpenGL ES 2.0 on Android.
Story:
Some aliens invaded your lecture room.
You put on an astronaut suite, grab your surfboard and kill them by surfing over their heads.
Controls:
Tilt your device to control the surfer. Touch the screen to jump.
It is far away from being finished but I was looking for some nice and friendly people who would like to test it and are able to give me a more precise feedback than "It always crashes" or "I cant install it". So I decided to present it here and would be happy to get some feedback :fingers-crossed:
Also I´m still looking for someone who could help me to give the game a more professional look. So feel free to contact me if you would like to design some textures or sprites for the game.
On my website you can find the project page and the changelog (I´m not able to post the link here because I don`t have more than ten posts already but you can find the link in my profile details )
Good

I recently developed my first Android game and I would love to get feedback from other developers.
Silver Dollar Shooter is a simple arcade game where you shoot targets as they are thrown into the air. I recently added breakable targets, which are much more satisfying to shoot.
I welcome any feedback, but I would love to know what you think about:
Pysics
Animations of targets after they've been shot
The look of my graphical assets (I created them all from scratch, while learning Photoshop).
And of course, if you can make it crash, please tell me how you did it.
Notes:
The app has ads but other than that, it is no different from the ad-free donate version you might find on my dev page. I'm looking for feedback, so I'm not asking you to buy anything.
The app asks for Full Internet Access, and Network State. This is for Flurry analytics and ads. It also asks for access to the vibrator for haptic feedback.
Since I'm a n00b, I can't post a link to the market, so you'll have to search the Android Market for:

Hey all,
I work at a small web/advergames company in Brazil, and sometimes we get to develop pure entertainment games in our spare time.
I was proudly responsible for our first Android game, Minihunt!!
EDIT: unfortunately I can't post images yet, but you can check out screenshots and a video at minihuntgame com
The game is supposedly a fresh, original idea. I tried to keep away from recycling old formulas, and came up with a simple game where you need to swipe sand away to find and stun tiny bugs. All bugs in the stage need to be stunned at once for you to clear the stage.
The original concept, game design, level design, and story are all my creation. Art was made by a friend of mine and his girlfriend, and my girfriend was the sole programmer for the entire game
It is 100% free, and I would love for you to try it out and comment if possible. Any criticism is very welcome also.
It requires the free Adobe Air plugin installation (also available on the market)..
Get it directly from the market or check out a video and download the free soundtrack and more at minihuntgame com
Hi, I am also in Brazil.
I released my first game in android.

Hey XDA,
Me and my friend started to make a game, so far were doing pretty badly. We run in problems like "engine in a too early build" or "this engine was made specifically for this game" and we really wanna get started. Developers or any kind of help with the game would be highly appreciated.
Now some info about the game: This game is 2D, And has alil the looks of Terraria. In the game your a human that fights against monsters, there are 25 phases in each level. You have loads of weapons and items to help you throughout the game. Its more detailed though, but i wont go into details at the moment. This game will be multiplatform, so for PC, Android, etc. It doesnt matter wich language we are gonna use, but im most femiliar with C, but java is fine for me too Thanks!
Btw we also have a site, xedus.nl.
Hello!
I want to show you my first android game, that i just published on Google Play
Its called Scary Copter - Halloween Flight
So as you can see, theme is very actual, as tonight is the Halloween night
Its free, fast and fun flying game, based on old, well known idea of helicopter game.
Navigate through narrowing tunnel, avoid obstacles, dont crash and fly as far as you can.
Enjoy dynamic, yet smooth and responsive flying model. Have fun.
Im new here, so i cant publish links to Google Play nor any screenshoots. Look for game called "scary copter", with icon showing Witch flying broom silhouette against full moon Package name is: com.mobador.scarycopter
I did my best to make "Scary Copter" bug free. Looks solid to me, but im a beginner, so I'll apreciate any opinions about this game.
Thanks in advance.
Adam
Play Store Link
Haven't had time to play it yet, but here is a Play Store link.
Looks pretty good, i quite like the colouring and theme. Can you tell me if there's any plans for updates in the future? (I'm a suckers for new content and features )

Thank you for nice words. Its simple game, but simple doesnt mean ugly. There is so many fun games on Google Play, that just have poor gfx. I wanted to avoid it and make graphic assets, that will be pleasant for eye. I'm not an artist myself, but I did my best to make the game look as good as possible. Colours that fit each other are very important part of every image, so i put attention into it too.
And about update plans, there are some, yeah.
I want to implement some kind of online high score board, so players can share their best scores, for others to compare.
I also need to fix some graphic issues. Game is made in 800x480 resolution, and on such devices, it looks realy good. Like mine Samsung Galaxy S Advance. But on devices with different resolution, pictures doesnt look so good, edges are sharp, not smooth. Game still works fine, but well, details could look better.
There are also some extra features planned, but im a busy guy, much work, wife, kid, so it can take some time
Actualy, at first the game was meant to look different, there was "classic" game mode, and "extended" one, with power-ups. And more graphic themes, that players can unlock while playing, and then select their favourite theme. I even have working prototype.
But im a beginner, so i decided to make it simplier from the start, to avoid mistakes. The longer the code, the bigger chance for bugs
Another thing is, preparing different graphic themes is also time-consuming, i dont want to put crappy graphic into my game. I put much attention into details, so i was afraid, if i will stick to more complex game idea, it will take months longer to finish and publish. Therefore i made it simplier, with dedicated Halloween theme, and there it is, finally...
If people will download it, and i will know they like it, i will for sure work on extended game
So, download and rate please, to keep my motivation up
Hi community!
Instead of reading news, this time I write one: My second game, AirMadness has been released on Android! It is an endless plane game where you must avoid obstacles for as long as you can. It is free and available on the PlayStore
Tell me if you like it or not!

Can you show us the 9gag post? And why are people writing in the comments that they were coming from 9gag?
Nice graphics!
Hi everyone!
For reasons I don't fully understand (well, anti-spam policy), I couldn't post any link or pictures, so thanks a lot @kirito9 for adding the link.
About the 9gags comments, well, I'm an avid 9gagger (it ruins 1 hour of my sleep every night...), so I decided to show off my game to the community and ask them for update's material suggestion. And I got a LOT of ideas coming from it:
9gag.com/gag/agNjPGw/this-is-airmadness-a-little-game-i-made-i-d-like-your-suggestions-for-next-planes-environments-please
Feel free to do the same and suggest planes and/or environments ideas!
Cheers!
Julien
I must say the idea is a bit overused, but I really liked the graphics. A lot.
When I played it I failed to see some type of qualitative progression. A great improvement would be to change the scenes dynamically as if they were levels (sky then sea then land then volcanoes then...) but it might take you a lot to add many scenarios with other objects than rocks. Maybe with other landscapes you can add moving objects and increase the variety.
Meanwhile, if Unity supports tilt movement you can add it.
Hope you find it useful!
@randomlabs Thanks. For sure, the concept isn't new. It's really really close to a "Race the Sun" for example, but I wanted the environments a bit more real, less etheric.
I plan on adding more environments and planes. A "story" mode, where you have to finish all levels in a row with at least 2000 points is a very good idea. I'll consider that kind of udpate.
