hello!
Before writing anything else, i must apologize for my bad English.
A few days ago, i was given a HTC Cruise (Polaris WM6.0), and i was doing tests with it to change the rom. After using pdocwrite, a unknown error occurred in the process, and he was made a brick.
Now i try to revive it by jtag, and in this model, i'm finding an odyssey.
I can not find documentation of polaris and jtag, there is much documentation for jtag and other models, and there is also documentation of riff jtag box, but the riff box price is higher than the htc polaris, and also need the apadtador. Without the adapter i will have the same problem, because is need know which are the pinout
After 20 hours of searching, i located the seven polaris jtag pinout. I now know where is the 7 jtag pinout but do not know which is which, i only know the jtag pinout position.
my question is ... if i have located the 7 jtag pinout, how i can know which is which? TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, TRST, vcc, gnd and boot pinout.
polaris and xda orbit is the same pcb

I'n need of desperate help as my serial port is stuffed, can someone please tell me if the male part of the connector is available to buy anywhere?
I know this is a tricky soldering job but a good friend has offered to help
Also I notice the rear backpack connector appears to route thru the same pins, does anyone know if this could be used to charge and sinc the phone, and if a connector is available.
Sorry for the gimme questions but I've searched all this site and many more with no luck.
Hi guys,
I've damaged the charging block on my pda. I think its just come loose. I just need the following advice:
1) What type of screw driver do I need to take off the case?
2) Can I solder on the charging block again without any problems?
Head to the Universal forums and ask there, also search first for the service manual. Most phones are T6/T5 and I can't recall what the jack looks like so I can't say..
Hi all,
The USB input for my O2 XDA Orbit, from where we charge the mobile phone has broken and I cannot charge the phone. The repair guy says that a pin has broken at the USB charging point and he needs the diagram to repair it.
Does any one have the circuit diagram or know from where I can get one.
Any help most welcome.
Hi, I bricked my iPaq hx2795b, and now I have to make a JTAG connector cable, so I can reflash my PXA270 processor. The problem is, that I have absolutely no idea where the JTAG pinouts for this device are!
Can anyone help me with this? On a side note, I could also use help with making the right cable, resistors, luckily I already have a compatible JTAG software.
This may be in the wrong section, sorry for that. Feel free to move if needed.
Can anyone please help me unbrick my device?
Bump.....!!!
Is anyone going to help out..? I seriously need help with this.
Has anyone successfully replaced the USB port on their sensation? If so did you follow a specific guide?
I've read multiple places that the usb port is soldered onto the motherboard itself.

From a teardown video it seems it's as you say - soldered. Though the part is available on Ebay.
However, Attempting repair by yourself is quite risky - unless you know exactly what you are doing (you need to desolder the damaged one, and the solder the new one). Doing this procedure wrong could possibly render your device into an expansive paperweight.
As for a guide - couldn't find one, and if you are not an expert in soldering, I suggest taking it to service to fix it, not worth the risk IMO.
