Galaxy ACE Wont boot :[

I have Galaxy ace
I wanted to switch to 2.3.3, so I downloaded the software ROM manager did flash. He asked me to pick and chose just Pelephone Pelephone, he wrote that he succeeded. After Flash went to Backup (backup), I clicked, boom turned off. I gave him a minute or two That's it.
BY THE WAY, you know what this Emergency MOD? Computer can recognize it is about this situation.

it seems that you tried to show some intelligence in flashing rom
who said you to flash with rom manager when the site clearly stated that you have to use odin to flash rom.
the only thing now you can try is putting you phone in download mode and flash with odin and follow the flash guide directions below-
1) Turn off your phone
2) Remove your SIM Card and SD Card
3) Extract previously downloaded firmware
4) Open ODIN 4.38 on your PC
5) Select from extracted archive: OPS, Boot, Phone, PDA, CSC (leave EFS and One Package empty)
Select OPS file : Cooper_v1.0.ops in his field.
Click BOOT button and select: APBOOT_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._user_low_true.tar.md5
Click Phone button and select: MODEM_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._REV03.tar.md5
Click PDA button and select: CODE_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
Click CSC button and select: CSC_S5830xxxxxx_xxx......_REV03_user_low_true.tar.md5
6) Connect your phone via USB into PC
7) When the screen is turned on hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME and wait until the phone enters the Download Mode
8) If ODIN detected and recognised your phone should light up the first square to the left side
9) Press "Start" button and wait, the process should take 5-10 minutes
10) If all goes well your phone should reboot automatically
11) Square should change the color to blue and display "PASS" it means that flashing process was successful and we have the newest firmware
12) Disconnect your phone
13) Turn off your phone
14) Insert your SIM Card and SD Card again
15) Turn on your phone
16) Now you have the newest firmware!

sorry to say but i think you bricked or semi-bricked your ace...

i got more then less same problem..
just have my galaxy ace GT-S5830
needed restart.. try turn on again... only thing he did was buzzing and samsung came in the screen lightning on and off... but wasnt able to continue to normal android menu...
i try a restart now
in small yellow i see downloading.. hope it works..
else i bring it back to the shop.. phone is just 1!! day old

How to solve bricked SGA?

try this.. remove ur phone battery memory card and sim card .
Reinsert battery but do not turn on phone.
Start odin
Select OPS file : Cooper_v1.0.ops in his field.
Click BOOT button and select: APBOOT_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._user_low_true.tar.md5
Click Phone button and select: MODEM_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._REV03.tar.md5
Click PDA button and select: CODE_S5830xxxxx_xxx...._REV03_user_low_true.tar.md 5
Click CSC button and select: CSC_S5830xxxxxx_xxx......_REV03_user_low_true.tar. md5
then connect your phone via usb and keep the volume down + power + home button pressed
this shud put ur phone in download mode

Facing the same problem, the critical point the mobile does not respond to power up (either turning on, recovery mode or even download mode), any help please??? I got this mobile less than month now

Samsung Galaxy Ace Wont Boot!!
when i press the power button of my galaxy ace, baring in mind the battery has charge, the empty battery indicator comes up and then the phones turns off straight away. i have tried flashing different versions of android hoping it was a buggy firmware but no luck. this also happens when plugging the phone into an ac power supply. any help?????????

If you cannot access the download mode or the recovery mode then your phone is bricked. All what you can do is go to the service center and pull up a nice story about how it happened while you were sleeping. If you are lucky enough, you will get a replacement.

Same problem here, only I use Ubuntu 12 and was wondering if there is a way of re-flashing using download mode and Ubunu?

Stole this guide from here
1. Download all the files for odin here
2. Remove everything from your phone (SD card, sim, battery).
3. Plug your phone into your computer WITHOUT the battery, as you have already taken it out in the last step.
4. Press and HOLD vol. up and vol. down.
5. As you are HOLDING these buttons, reattach your battery.
6. You should be in Download Mode.
7. Unplug phone from USB
8. Load in the files into Odin that you have downloaded from above Just load in the files corresponding to the text field.
DO NOT CHECK REPARTITION.
9. Plug in your phone with the DL mode
10. Click start and wait for the magic

[Q][Problem] Boot loop problem

I had attempted to install MIUI Rom, since then I have been stuck in a boot loop. I tried to use GTG's ultimate_unbrick solution and when I send the phone into download mode all I get is a white screen and Odin keeps toggling between COM4 and nothing in the COM:ID section; meanwhile, the message section toggles between added and removed. I hit start when the COM:ID section shows COM4 and the box above COM4 shows FAIL!.
HELP!!!

Sound like you didn't quite get the odin part correctly.
Miui installation is quite specific and requires a pull battery with installation.
you can try it again.
miui specific:
1. Place MIUI-Infuse.zip on internal SD card
2. Reboot into CWM
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Flash MIUI-Infuse.zip
If your phone doesn't boot:
1. Pull battery and put back in
2. Hold volume up, volume down, and power button
3. let go of power button as soon as you see samsung text
4. wait til blue cwm shows
5. Flash MIUI-Infuse-1.*.*.zip again
6. Enjoy!!
If not, you may have to odin or heimdall.
try a different usb port or usb cord or pc
read this if you havent

The phone won't boot. All I get is a white screen when I try to turn it on. Not even the Samsung logo. Just all white.

Try this.
Power off.
Pull battery. Battery in
Power on holding three buttons. When you see the Samsung screen and the buttons light up, let go of the power while holding the volumes.
Will this get you a recovery screen?

No all I get is a flashing white screen. I never get the Samsung text. Sorry I forgot to mention that the white screen was flashing.

Robert,
make sure your battery is charged.
I'm not sure if the flashing screen is still download mode. the only 2 i know is android shoveling and triangle and phone !
If you turn off and put it in download mode (or the flashing screen)
and connect it to your pc, your pc should recognize the phone if you had the correct drivers.
If odin is not working,
try heimdall.
adam outler also has an unbrickable mod somewhere in the development section.
it suppose to restore the phone in any condition.
look for that if nothing works.
make sure you do the correct download mode.

Phone will not boot into recovery but does boot into download mode

My phone is rooted with stock rom. The only changes are listed below
Froze bloat that was safe
changed bootanimation to stock samsung
replaced some apps with inverted versions of themselves (ex. google +, stock messaging)
Here goes:
I was using navigation and I noticed that my phone was off after I had finished. Nothing worked at all, I could not boot into recovery or download. I connected the phone to a charger and red led flashes and an empty battery appears. The battery was full. I could reboot the phone while on the charger, but it would shut off as soon as it got to the homescreen. While off, If I pressed the home button, the green battery would appear as if it were charging. From here I could boot into recovery and download mode. The phone will only boot into these modes while connected to the charger. Here is where it went bad. I attempted to restore a backup while the phone was on the car charger and my car charger got pulled out in the middle of a restore. No charger meant that the phone shut off mid restore. Now, when I plug in the phone, the red led appears and the empty battery with a circle inside appears and then goes away. This repeats itself over and over and the phone buzzes when the empty battery reappears. I can still boot into download mode but not recovery. If I try to flash the stock samsung rom via odin, it says that it passes, however upon automatic reboot the samsung appears and nothing else. After the samsung appears the phone just continues to buzz every 5 seconds or so as if it is trying to do something. Could it be a bootloop? I have done a ton of searching here and now I am resorting to help! Your time is appreciated and beers on me if you can help me get my phone back to normal.

Section 6: Using Odin to flash back to Stock from any rom/ recover from a soft brick
*Move everything you dont want to lose from internal sdcard to external sdcard as this will reformat your internal sdcard!!
Step 1: Download and install these files to pc:

Step 2: Download one of these Factory STOCK Bloated 4.0.4 roms and the stock kernel to your pc:
*You will need to unzip these files with a .zip program such as 7zip to extract the .tar files!

Step 3: Power device off, then hold the volume down/home/power keys until you see a yellow triangle, then press the volume up key to access "download mode"
Step 4: Open Odin and connect the oem usb cable to pc & device, you should see a "comport #" in upper left hand corner of odin
Step 5: Uncheck auto reboot
Step 6: Click on the PDA function of odin and select the Stock Kernel you downloaded in step 2. Should take roughly 1 min, then odin will say pass/reset
Step 7: Click on the PDA function of odin and select the Stock Rom you downloaded in step 2. Should take less than 8 minutes, then odin will say pass/reset
Step 7: Disconnect usb cable, then pull and reinsert the battery
Step 8: Press and hold the volume up/home/power keys until you see a green android, you should boot into stock recovery
Step 9: Wipe data/factory reset
Step 10: Reboot! (You should now be booted into factory stock, locked, and bloated ICS 4.0.4)

Should the stock rom file be a .tar or .tar.md5? The kernel was a .tar and I have an official samsung vralf2 that is a .tar.md5

I tried your method and the empty battery is gone , but it doesnt get past the samsung on booting into recovery and continues to buzz every few seconds with a blank screen.

For some reason the phone will not recognize the battery. I tried a new one at verizon and the same thing. I can now boot into both recovery and download mode when connected to the charger , but the phone shuts off as soon as it boots and shows an empty battery with a circle in the middle. Sometimes it does not make it through the verizon boot animation and sometimes it makes it all the way to the homescreen and I can make a few selections before it turns off. After flashing the stock kernel and rom in odin I believe i am completely stock, however I do not want to chance sending the phone into Verizon. I believe that I saw a thread before this happened to me talking about having to calibrate the battery in some way and it had an item to flash in order to fix the problem. I can not find it now. Any ideas? Now that I can access recovery is there anything else that can be done? Why won't the phone recognize that it has a battery? As soon as I pull it off the charger it shuts off. When it is on the charger it appears to be charging and the green in the battery appears to be at about 80% but the level does not move up or down at all. Thank you for your help ahead of time.

I replied to your other thread seems to have been deleted.----- Boot into download mode and let it sit on the charger for 30 minutes, remove from charger pull and reinsert battery. Boot your phone regularly. Charge/profit

If it does not and If i try to download bootchains , kernel, modem , and stock rom once again, is there any particular order that this should be done in? Also, is there any way that I can get cwm recovery on my phone? I can not get my computer to recognize the phone in download mode or recovery mode to push it with adb. If I could get cwm on the phone would wiping battery stats and fixing permissions do anything?

What To Do:
- Make sure Kies is Closed
- Disconnect the Tab from your PC
- Restart your Tab in Download Mode (Power Off Tab then Hold Volume - & Power Button)
- Open Odin , do not change any checkbox items
- Click the PDA button and find the Stock ROM .md5 file and select it (DO NOT HIT START YET)
- Plug in your Tab to the PC at which point the first "ID:COM" box should turn yellow and the Message windows should read "Added"
- Now, Hit Start
- When Completed the "ID:COM" Box should turn Green and right above it it should say "Pass"
The tablet should reboot,
- Disconnect the Tab from your PC

try to find a tar.md5 package with a .pit file specifically for your device..,
alternately try flashing a stock Honeycomb ROM.. and booting into recovery and factory reset.
Most importantly research and read, If you can get into Download mode you're 90%+ will be OK
