You can remove the yellow triangle by
1) Flashing back to the original Kernel
2) resetting the binary counter using USB Jig (Check Ebay for "USB Jig Samsung Galaxy S2" and Youtube for instructions)
The yellow triangle is just a warning that you have flashed insecure kernel and i see no danger in that.
Thanks for the reply
as i sad before, i didn't made a backup of stock kernel... where can i find a stock kernel for europe model? i kind a need it... i'll may be returning my phone for service check
Can use CheckFUS to download the European firmware. See this thread.

Yes..Use the ODIN and PDA option to flash the firmware..
You mentioned you will sent phone to service.
Your binary counter will not be reset even though you flash the original firmware.
See if you can buy a USB jig. It might be handy for you always to unbrick you device, in case u brick/semi-brick it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068522
You can also home make USB jig from a spare micro USB cable. See instructions here. But be careful of the terminals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdn5GoRjhn0

The main function of the Yellow Triangle, is to show to Samsung Service that you did something that violates the warranty.
So Samsung Service can tell you:
"You have to pay to repair this device, you have violated the warranty."

Hi,
I installed the CWM and made a backup of the ROM, but when I try to install the SU file (Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip) I get this error (see attached file).
MD5 Mismatch from both locations; the MD5 I get from the files is "fc462fa0630379edbe10006b1d19d9b1"
Thanks a lot

I've got the same error when flashed superuser over new 2.3.5 today. Surprisingly all still worked perfectly - su is installed and superuser app works.
Maybe because I didn't hard reset and I already had my previous firmware rooted.
Very useful,thanks for all!
Works perfect on my device.

A MD5 mismatch means your file is corrupted.
I think superuser should not be installed over another superuser. It is not clear to me why you do that.
If you have problems with superuser, please contact ChainsDD, the developer of Superuser.

Hello.
Quick question/s
1. Will my download count increase if I make a backup of my current android version?
2. Will my warranty be voided when I install CWM in my GSR? I do not have acess to a USB jig so I can not reset the counter....
Thank you.

Installing CWM with Odin does not increase the counter.
Making a backup with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing superuser with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing the "ardatdat custom kernel with root+overclock" with CWM does not increase the counter.
Installing a stock rom does not increase the counter.
Hi,
I installed CWM and and made a backup of the stock-rom. Then I wanted to copy the backup-file to my pc, but i cant find the clockworkmod/backup folder. There is only a clockworkmod folder and that one is empty. Its the same on the pc and in android. The weird thing is, that i can see the folder and the backup-file in CWM. So I can restore in cwm, but I want to make a backup of the backup to my pc.
Who can help?
I felt many users are facing problems to upgrade with official stock rom DDKP3 So here is the guide. If it helps you DON NOT FORGET TO HIT "THANKS"

Hey guys, my friend just gave me his phone model Gt-i5800 to fix, and it stuck in boot (startup). First, I though that just a simple flash will be enough, but it didn't work, I tried to flash it with Odin, but doesn't download all files it stuck there too, can't access recovery as well.
you will be able to tell from this picture.
any ideas?
and thanks.
Plug the device in and charge to 100% on wall outlet.
Download and install Kies 2.6 onto you Windows PC. (While the device charges.)
Open Kies and update if necessary.
When Charged, Plug the device into the PC using OEM cord. Press the "Home" button and make sure battery reads 100%.
Place device into ODIN Download mode. (Press and "HOLD" the Volume Down, and Home buttons. Then "Press and Release" the Power button for 1 second. KEEP holding the two buttons until the warning message or Android appear.)
Inside the Kies Software, select "Tools", then "Update and Initialize Device" follow instructions on the screen.
Note: Once Kies is showing that it is downloading, it would be good to browse to your TEMP folder (Located in Windows 7 @ C:\Users\*Your User Name on Computer*\Local\Temp) and COPY the "Tmp.***.zip" file that will appear to you "Desktop" while the device is reprogrammed. This is the complete factory image of your device, and may be needed later to ODIN Flash if Kies fails!
Hello,
My friend gave me a Samsung Galaxy SM-J100H because it wouldn't go past the Samsung Logo so I tried to root it. I used Odin and everything seemed to be going well until it restarted. When it restarted it said there was a problem with the USB connection. A window appeared with 3 different device drivers and the first two checked with a green tick and the 3rd the Samsung one gave me a red cross. I quickly tried to reinstall the USB driver but to no avail.
Now, I can't get into the Power+Home+Volume Up menu, all I can get is the Power+Home+Volume Down to work which brings up Press Volume Up to Continue. When I do that, even without the USB plugged in it just says Downloading.... Do not turn off target!! I left this overnight in case it somehow cached the root but to no avail.
Have I bricked it totally? Is there any way I can recover this? Is there a program that will wipe everything completely so I can start from Scratch? I refuse to believe that I can't solve a software issue with software. Is there something in the hardware I can do that would wipe everything like using a Jumper to clear the CMOS and BIOS for a PC, is there anything like that I could do? I know there would be any jumpers but maybe connecting certain connections it could effectively wipe it?
Even when I try to start again with Odin I can't since it will just go straight to Downloading.... Do not turn off target!! as soon as I press Volume Up.
Is there ANYTHING I can do?
Hi there and welcome to assist,
If you can enter in download mode using combo Power+Home+Volume Down then you can flash stock firmware. Search with google for this firmware and flash thru Odin.
Flashing instructions:
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Click to collapse
