Stock rom

Looking for a complete stock rom without root. Something someone could flash and go back to factory and with all the gaps all ready loaded. I looked all over but could only find stock with root.

have you tried un-rooting the stock rom with root?

Not trying to be mean too. But have you downloaded the file? If you did downloaded it, have you extracted the contents? If you did extracted the contents, can you let us know how to flash those BIN files?

That is the stock unrooted firmware. Just reading the last few posts on the thread looks like how to reflash stock hasn't been discovered yet.. at the same time you can unroot with superoneclick the do a factory reset with volume down and power button.. that should be "stock".. stock froyo should be 60-75mb as far as any mods by LG.. idk.. wouldn't think it would make it 500mb (lil over actually I downloaded it a couple days ago just to have it around). But this really should be in general.. if your having a problem ask.. there is a lot of great minds willing to help..

Yes that is the stock unrooted firmware. But it contains BIN files. One is the baseband which is flashable via Smartflash. I tried extracting files out of the bigger BIN file via ExtractNow and also mounting it via Virtual Clone Drive but it didn't work.
I've already asked paulobrien to make an NVFlash stock rom release for the G2X much like the one he did for the O2X (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007825). But he hasn't replied yet.
If I know the odmdata value and the android_fastboot_emmc_full.cfg, I would have done it myself.

Yea same thing here with me I've asked Paul to help with nvflash commands but no answer back yet. Im one of those that can benefit from this right now as my phone in a boot loop, But all of us will benefit from this sonner or later. After flashing ex amount of roms and themes its always good to go back to stock and start flashing from a stock build.

Not trying to be an ass as well, it is not for me.

V20b baseband

Here is the v20b baseband so you can flash it according to this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17177547&postcount=2
when you reach step 13 chose fls file and continue on from there. Thx to adixtra for the guide on how to install this.When you unrar the file you will get the LGP920AT-00-V20b-ESA-XXX-JAN-10-2012+0_CP.fls file this is what you should flash.

I've upgrade it with LGFlashTool from 21a baseband fine wearing an Acura's 7.1 ROM.

Why with all baseband I tried, when I go to parameter/about menu. It alaways shows L6260_MODEM_SID_01.1042.00.
How can I be sure of the exact basebad I'm using ?

I think this version name is bogus. Depending on the ROM you flash, it will change. It´s not the true baseband version. I noticed it the first time I flashed the CM7 SelfKang.

I am planning to change my baseband because i have ghost call problems.
Will this baseband solve my problem?
I read that i have to downgrade to froyo and i am trying to avoid it.

have no idea man. I am on v21A and ghost calls issue ever...

How to Installation :-
1. Download the ICS theme for DDLA2 (XXLA2)
2. Place it in the root of the sdcard.(not in any folder)
3. Flash it via recovery.(Press middle key+power key+up volum button)
4. Do a factor reset.

First u need to root ur phone...
Second U must install CWM
Third please do check : u are only use DDLA2 (XXLA2)
Fourth yes after u root & ur phone using DDLA2 (XXLA2), then u will flash ur phone using CWM...

Yes it work, so many people are using this... But please remember this is only for DDLA2 (XXLA2)
If you still want this deodex rom, flash using ODIN for getting DDLA2 (XXLA2)...

Deodex is basically removing [DOT],ODEX files in your android system, Why remove it? I think too many answer u can find in this forum, if too lazy for it ask my good friend, HIS NAME IS GOOGLE

That's because you do not have a rom Deodexed, you will have to put back the service.jar, service.odex and SystemUi V30A.
Only work with rom Deodexed

seems very tempting. has anyone tried it? does it really remove the recovery? if so that means if I dont like it then no coming back after flashing as I havent seen a kdz file for my f350s...

Yep sorry was being lazy I've had a look and overall it does look pretty nice I think I will make this my first rom on this phone goodbye stock!!
